Action, humor and a fast paced romance kick off this new series about Montana Bounty Hunters.
Reaper Stenberg comes off as crude and rude at the start of the book but even with his alpha mindedness he still gives his female partner credit on being able to handle herself and the skips on the job.. That being said though he isnt too happy when his boss assigns him a ride along on the job. See Carly Wyatt is a romance writer doing research on bounty hunters for a upcoming series. Reaper naturally assumes she is just some piece of fluff at first but soon finds out she served in the Army with his boss and is no shrinking violet.
You can tell the author did her research herself on bounty hunting as all of those scenes were great and action packed. The romance moves at a really fast paced but that's pretty on par with these lengths of books and the chemistry between Reaper and Carly was smoking from the start.
Looking forward to more stories in the series...

This is a fast paced, smoking hot story - just like I've come to expect from Delilah Devlin. Reaper and Carly have great chemistry and their love scenes are WOW! The romance moves quickly but that's to be expected with a novella length book. Delilah's writing never leaves me feeling like anything's missing, no matter the length of her book.
I'm ready for more stories in this series. I borrowed this book through KU.

Short but sweet! Reaper’s partner, Jamie, has taught him a lot about working with a female partner. She needs some time off to work on her wedding, so Reaper needs a new partner for a while. Carly is doing research for a book, and she gets paired up with Reaper. She gets paired up with Reaper and he decides to teach her a lesson about being a bounty hunter. Will Reaper drive her away or will she pull him closer?
First, these characters don’t have a lot of personal growth. This story is too short to allow for that. Second, this is a super speed love story. Normally I don’t like them, but this is so lighthearted and the characters so likeable that I don’t even care about the speed. The author has created a fun world where the bounty hunters are just the base on which a lot of fun stories and characters come together. To be honest, I’m a fan of this series. Sometimes I just need a fun, fast book to read and these always make me smile and sometimes laugh out loud.

Great start to an exciting new series by Delilah Devlin!
Reaper is the nickname of a very alpha bounty hunter. He's used to working independently, but has learned that his female partner is actually excellent at her job and he admits she's become a good friend and partner. Now that she's getting married, he's almost ready to admit to himself that maybe there are other women out there who might be similarly terrific people ;)
When his boss saddles him with a writer (of romance, no less!) for some ride-alongs, his initial instinct is to be cold and uncooperative (because that's so foreign to him ;) ), but once he meets Carly Wyatt, the author in question, he comes to change his tune.
Carly is smart, straightforward, and not about to let some guy shut her out just because. She and Reaper set the sheets on fire, and they come to really appreciate the partnership they form outside the bedroom as well.
Ms Devlin's story is fun, fast-paced, and delicious. Looking forward to more stories in this series!

Reaper is a phenomenal contemporary romance by Delilah Devlin. Ms. Devlin has delivered a book that is well-written and populated with a magnificent cast of characters. This is a fairly quick read, perfect for those with limited reading time. Reaper, former Marine, is now a bounty hunter. Carly is an author and Reaper's boss has assigned him the task of letting her do a ride-along with him. He's not happy when she inserts herself in his case. Reaper and Carly's story is packed with drama, laugh-out-loud humor, sizzle, action and suspense. I enjoyed every page of this book and look forward to my next book by Delilah Devlin. Reaper is book 1 of the Montana Bounty Hunters Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

This is the first book, in this new series. Reaper is a Marine veteran, who beacame a bounty hunter is partner Jamie holds her own. Howver, you don't see her much do to her planning her wedding.
As such, he gets a new partner a writer named Carly. Sparks fly when they meet. Omg, does it ever let's just say it 's off the charts. They do bounty hunting as well together. This book is full of romance HOT Steamy romance and action. I can't wait to read, the other books in this story.
You can read a Big Sky Seal, for Jamie's story and some background info on this book. This book can be read as a stand alone, but just in case you feel lost.
I did receive a copy of this book, however I choose to do a review. I really enjoyed this, and I am looking forward to reading more in this series.

Short story at the price of a full-length book
When a story is only 150-ish pages, you have to figure you won’t get a lot of character background or development. I noticed that the most recent “book” in the series is only 93 pages, yet still the price is in the $4 range. If you want to do a series of short, related stories, issue them as a collection for a reasonable price, like, under $10. Especially when you are already a recognized author who has written full-length books.
Story was Somewhat entertaining, heroine was strong, hero was attractive, but there was so little development that I am really not motivated to buy any of the rest of the series. Especially at this cost, and without Audible availability.

The beginning of the book hit reads with some action and some LOL moments. From Jamie's bounty tactics to the wedding arrest, the book started off fun. Then the steam got ratcheted up to an 11 as neither Carly or Reaper were shy about what they wanted. He was the typical broody hero type who finally got hit upside the head with love while she was the complete opposite of his expectations. She waded into trouble right by his side instead of staying in the car making her more than a match. After the steam, we got more of the same, more action and more steam all culminating in love. Looks to be a good start to a sexy series.

Reaper is the first book in the Montana Bounty Hunters series. This is Reaper Stenberg and Carly Wyatt’s story. I really enjoyed their story and this series is off to a great start for me!
Reaper doesn’t usually work with a partner let alone a female and now he has to have a female trail along with him. Carly is a romance writer doing research and she is to ride along with Reaper.
Ms. Devlin got the idea of writing about bounty hunters from the TV reality show of the same name.
I loved reading about Reaper and loved how controlling he was in the bedroom with Carly. Carly is a spitfire and things get hot between them.
Now I am looking forward to the next story in this series, Dagger.

After reading the spin-offs, why not read how the Montana Bounty Hunters started? Reaper Stenberg, alpha ex-Marine hard-a**, has no time to show some romance author how bounty hunting works, especially one that looks like Carly Wyatt. But this curvy, smart, ex-Army beauty is more than just a prissy author. When things get steamy between the two and get dangerous on a retrieval, he is smitten. Well-paced, interesting characters, witty banter, sizzle, steam, action, and more, great start to this series and I look forward to reading more.

I really enjoyed reading Reaper . The story is entertaining and action packed , definitely sexy . Reaper Stenberg works for Montana bounty hunters . He runs their satellite office . His boss assigns him to take along Carly Wyatt a romance writer on his captures . Reaper is unhappy about it . Carly can handle herself well and Reaper and her have strong chemistry . Reaper really likes her spunk she just his kind of woman . Soon their feeling get involved and the next bounty maybe the last as it's very dangerous . I highly recommend taking the time to read .

Reaper is the first story in Delilah Devlin’s Montana Bounty Hunters series and had action, danger and suspense, plus the added bonus of snarky banter and humour too. A quick, short read that doesn’t have a lot of character background, but that isn’t unexpected in a novella length book. Carly is a strong heroine and Reaper is your typical opinionated Alpha male. I liked the overall concept of the series and look forward to the next in the series.

I love the story. Reaper is a bounty hunter and likes to work alone. HIs partner is taking time off and he gets stuck with Carly,who writes romance books. She wants to get to Reaper and what he does for a book she is going to write about bounty hunters. She rides along with him to learn and they start to like each other. He takes a job recovering a military tractor trailer that has been abandoned and Carly tags along. Things go FUBAR, what happens next?.

I love how Carly is so easy going and how she just pushes forward. I love that she teases Reaper and puts him off his game. She has a few small insecurities but she marches on. I love that Reaper takes her teasing and learns to dish it back. I love that he wants to have a better relationship with his brother. I love that he grows and changes in regard to his lovelife. The action is fun. The story is solid.

Reaper & Carly are perfect foils until you look a bit deeper & see they really are two of a kind. Neither is willing to take crap from anyone. To be honest, I had no clue who the author was, but when the book landed in my lap, her name was added to my list to read more of. I do tend to like longer books but this was a great length for a rainy afternoon. It was fast-paced but nothing was lost. I seriously laughed out loud at a wedding scene- you'll have to read it to see why.

Reaper: Fantastic story! I liked how Reaper kept saying he was not a one women man. I liked how Reaper cared about his brother even though Sammy always found trouble. Carly was a different type of women to what Reaper ever dealt with before. He enjoyed her company and the challenges that she gave him. They were great together in and out of the bedroom. Fantastic writing and dialog.

When writer and former Army, Carly gets to ride along with bounty hunter Reaper for experience, things get crazy.
This was a great book. Such a great mix of characters and a fast moving plot that kept me involved from start to finish.
This is the start of a new series and I very much enjoyed this book. Can't wait for more to come.

I love this new series by Ms. Devlin. I love the strong alphas meeting their match in the strong women. Reaper meets his match in Jamie. I loved how she just was up in his face , and didn't let him get away with anything. Reaper just reaches out and grabs a hold of your alpha bad boy loving heart. Ms. Devlin is the queen of short reads that will knock your socks off.

Raw, rough, and ready for action!!
Loved this book. It was fast paced,interesting, with full characters and good plot. Reaper is a rough, straight shooting Bounty Hunter who works just fine alone. Carly is just a ride along author doing research for her next book. But the best story happens between these two. These two getting together is fun and exciting.

A bada$$ bounty hunter, a snarky female who gives as good as she gets, danger, suspense, fun, and lots of smexy-times....I enjoyed everything about this book and wanted more. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.

Good story
This is the first book I've read by this author. It's a good story, fun, sexy, and a quick read. Although it's the first in a series, it reads a little like a spin off because there are peripheral relationships that feel as though we should know more about them than is told in this narrative.

Reaper was focused on the job not wanting a female parent as a distraction his latest one proved they cpuld be as much an assist as he is that is until he's forced to take on an romance author Carly for a ride along. Well written steamy grumpy sunshine desires action and more.

Going back to where it all began was fun. Reaper and Carley are perfect for each other and she doesn't take his bs! The story was engaging from start to finish involving the female protagonist getting in on the action. Looking forward to reading Dagger's story.

This is the first book in the "Montana Bounty Hunters" series. This one is about Reaper and Carly. I love the characters and how they meet and start off. This is a fun, fast paced and entertaining read with strong characters. I love how it develops. It is a fairly short and quick read that was a delightful one.

This was Reaper and Carly’s story. Bounty hunter and former marine Reaper Stenberg is a loner, not a tour guide. But when his boss assigns him ride-along duty with a romance novelist to show her how he catches bail-jumpers, he's forced to roll out the red carpet when he'd rather leave her in his dust. An intriguing read. And voluntarily leaving this review.

Hot and steamy, this is a bounty hunter story with a bonus short story at the end. It’s all about how female hunters can do as good a job as the guys and still make the guys drool. If your looking for a story with heat this one certainly fits.
