The First Son

Rate this book
The guy who has me in a headlock? Yeah he's my soulmate, I'm sure of it. Why does he have me in a headlock? Because he thinks I'm a guy. Yep that's my life.

EXCERPT:
I smiled and threw my bag onto the bed nearest to the window, it was only fair, first come first pick. First Son or not. Then it hit me. OH.MY.GOD. I would be sleeping in the same room as JAMES WINTERS THE FIRST SON!!! Yeah yeah I know agents are meant to keep a cool head or whatever but don't forget that I was still a teenage girl who was going to be rooming with the American President's son! CRIPES! Then to top things off, while I'm in the middle of my freak out who comes in? Yup... you guessed it... James.

"Hey man." He said as he sauntered in wearing dark washed jeans and a plain grey shirt, his shaggy thick brown hair stood at odd ends, as if he had just rolled out of bed, he had a slightly crooked nose that looked like it had been broken a few times. I gulped as my eyes involuntarily strayed to his tall, lean, toned body. I didn't remember him being hot...

"So how about those aliens in Area 51?" OH.MY.GOD. What the hec does that have to do with anything?! Why am I talking about Area 51?! Although, it is a pretty interesting topic...

"..What?"

"Just thought you'd know homey gee from the hood. Winters' in da hou-ouse!!" OH.MY.GOD. I did not just say that.

He raised a brow, "Uh... o-kay..."

"So.. we're roomies huh?" Crap... did I just say roomies?! Do guys say roomies?!

"Err.. I guess."

"So you're a man of few words... hmm..."

James gave me a strange look. Oh bollocks, I must have said that out loud. I hate it when I do that.

"I'm Rory by the way." I said holding my hand out for him to shake. Wow that was the first normal thing I'd said in his presence, maybe I'm getting over the rooming with the First Son freak out and his hotness. He never looked this hot when I saw him on TV. Maybe he's just not very camera-genic?

"James. But I'm guessing you already knew that." He said, engulfing my hand in his, a slight tingle ran down my spine at the contact. What do you expect? He was hot. Drool.
