Easy to read book about Kanban, presenting another perspective for improving flow and generating value for customers. It does not introduce Kanban concepts, but it extends them. It is more focused on the aspects until the "tasks" reach the commitment line, and when they are ready for UAT, and how those actions impact in the generation of value as part of an End-to-End Workflow. This book presents the importance of going beyond the System Lead Time and workers pulling tasks, including actions for customers and business users, as part of that E2E workflow.
In my opinion, once you know the basics about Kanban Systems, it is an interesting read to have a wider perspective.

If you have no experience with Kanban you will get some insights and probably will want to learn more about Kanban.

The informations are pretty basic. No real context is given. The use case is very simplistic. So many complex concepts are just exposed without further details. It is seems to be made to generate many questions on the readers. Those questions will just be answered (guess how?) through a formal training at LeanKanban

The book cover important aspects on flow management. The ideas to work with Customer Kanban and all logic to understand the dynamics in the upstream are amazing. The major downside I've found was the size of the introduction, that could be shrank IMO.

The book has concepts to be applied in the next week, as usual in this community.

Fantastic quick read on the benefits of Upstream, Customer and Discovery Kanban. I had already been applying some of these concepts but it was great to see it nicely explained. It helped trigger some ways to innovate and improve our practice.

Very quick reading. Enough information to inspire ideas and implement ideas next week, but for mastering upstrem you will need more training (and practice for sure). It's a free ebook, you want more, you pay more.

Basically what the book says, is that it takes two to tango, and no matter how efficient your team may be, it will only be as a effective as its customers are. Thankfully, this one is short (50 pages only), but for me personally this was kind of 'meh'
