To begin with I had no idea that the SEALS were Navy, I just associated them as military. The Trident insignia was approved for wear in 1970. 40% of men trying to become SEALS will quit. UDT is the underwater demolition team. This novel describes the beginning of the SEALS , some of their mission and outcomes. The class of 1989 their slogan was “The Only Easy Day Was Yesterday.” Learning of the missions was interesting . I am grateful for all of our military and am in awe of the SEALS!
