This was an enjoyable read. This is a student-teacher romance story between Olivia Abernathy and Bruce Harrison. I thought it was one of the better student-teacher books that I have read, but I thought the story could have been a bit longer. I thought the characters were great. I really liked Olivia. As a university student, I can totally relate to feeling like when you messed up once, you might do it again. I also liked Bruce. I thought he was smart, and intriguing. The chemistry between the main characters was great. I thought the ending was perfect for them. Overall, a great read.

This is my voluntary review of an ARC I received. I loved this book about the taboo relationship between Professor Harrison and his younger student Olivia Abernathy. The story flowed beautifully by a really good writer. I have never read any of this authors books before, but will certainly do so now. I highly recommend this really good read.

Underwhelming and rushed

The story feels rushed, there’s not enough details for character development. All I feel between Bruce and Olivia’s interaction is awkwardness. No chemistry.

Great read!

Okay, so I confess that I have a weakness for these older man / younger woman romances, and the professor / student variation is my particular favorite. I met my honey at a university where I worked kind of for him and he’s 20 years older than me. BTW, I also really enjoy the boss / subordinate stories, too. But I digress. I enjoyed this story because it was a fresher take on the genre. The professor was highly successful in the private sector, which gave him extra options, and also a competitive amateur athlete, which gave him something in common with Olivia, other than just sex. Add in the action of the non-sexual sort, the tiny hint of BDSM, and it all added up to an entertaining, hot, really enjoyable read.

Student/teacher romance

This short read has the Teacher/student trope I like and bit of suspense too! Olivia gets in trouble when she calls Professor Bruce Harrison an asshole in class. Olivia has a short temper which she needs to change as its creating havoc in her life. Professor Harrison wants to help her. He also is very interested in pursuing her.
The story is fast-paced, sexy and a bit suspenseful!

Wow the hotness.

Ok so let me explain the reason for the 4 stars instead of 5. Olivia got on my freaking nerves in the beginning. She was just all over the place. About middle ways i think she redeems herself. Other than that this book is 🔥! At the end there is a bunch of twist and turns that I love. Also the sexy scenes are just that, sexy as hell! Great quick read!

I love Bruce

Bruce was so dominant and so HOT. He was determined to take care of the girl that he couldn't stay away from. Oliver may be falling for the hot sexy professor but she isn't sure that she isn't one of many girls who have fallen for his wicked ways. A short and steamy read that had me hooked ❤❤

This book is one of my favourite student/teacher books I've read so far. I felt like the length of this book could be longer, maybe 250 pages in total 🤔📖

Also, I wished there are more scenes between Bruce and Olivia getting to know each other better, such as their pasts, family, and more.

All in all, it was a good book and a quick read book for me.

This is the first book I have read by this author and I was pleasantly surprised. Bruce and Olivia pull you in to their forbidden romance that you just can't be pulled away from. Loved every minute of reading this book.

This was wild lmao, the last 20/30% was like reading a different book tho, so much happened in a short space of time and it could have easily been 50 or so pages longer, but it was smutty and dramatic as hell so I loved it, also don't mind me just exposing my kinks on GRs lol

Cute Read

3.5⭐️ Cute Read. The story was cute though had personal strifes with the FMC which brought the rating down for me. The relationship however was good and the twists and turns along the way expected yet added an extra spark which created a bit of “ohhhh snap”

On a academic and athletic scholarship, Olivia has always been determined to be her best, that includes always making sure her school work is A standards. So when she keeps receiving B's in Mr. Harrison's class, she becomes frustrated. During one of his classes, while she is not paying attention, he asks her a question. Instead of playing it cool, she makes a very regretful outburst that could lead to her dismissal from the class, which could also affect her scholarship. Bruce Harrison wants to teach his students how to actually exceed in the world after college. When he see's a promising student, he pushes them to succeed where others would fail. He sees Olivia as such student, however, there is something about her that intrigues him. So when she makes a raging outburst in class, he knew he needed to teach her a lesson, what type of lesson remains to be determined.

I give this book a 3 out of 5 stars. As much as an intriguing story of a teacher and student love affair, I did not enjoy it as much as I would have liked too. I have given it three stars simply because it was written well and was enjoyable.

What I loved most about this book, was that the person to person perspective changed between Olivia and Bruce. It is one thing in books I absolutely love. Instead of just one perspective you get two perspectives.

I did not find this story as enjoyable as I would have thought. I thought that the title "The Strict Professor" would have a little more D&S included. Maybe "The Overbearing Professor" would have been a better fit.

This book is a good fit for someone who wants a quick read. I recommend the lonely housewives out there.

Mia Luxe's Strict Professor is a steamy, intriguing and romantic story. It gets you hooked from the first page.

The plot is well written and the chemistry between Olivia and Bruce is captivating and sizzling. The storyline is filled with light BDSM and steamingly hot sex scenes to get you all hot and bothered.
