The Noisy Foxes live in a very noisy city, under a railway bridge, and besides a very busy road. They also have noisy neighbours. One day they decide that they have had enough and that they would like somewhere quieter to live, so they set off for the countryside.

However, the foxes soon learn that living where it is very quiet might not be what they were looking for after all.

This is a fun young children’s picture book about believing that because something is different and the opposite of what you have now is better than what you currently have, it is the perfect example of ‘the grass isn’t always greener’.

It was wonderful for the foxes to meet up with other woodland creatures and for them to show them where they live. It was also lovely to see the foxes realise that there really is ‘no place like home’.

The illustrations are full-page, very bright, and bring the story to life. The book would make a fantastic read both at home or as a class read. It is short, doesn’t contain much text but has a powerful message.

A cute "there's no place like home" story as the noisy foxes look for somewhere to live, and end up back where they started from. Art is reminiscent of the old Czech "Mole" movie shorts that we showed long ago at story times. Not astonishing, but enjoyable.

Woodland creatures will always be a favourite of mine, so I may be a bit biased when it comes to reviewing this book, but I did enjoy the introduction of the owl, mole, frog, badger and mouse. The illustrations have a unique look to them that my daughter enjoys- especially the mole's hole where one of the foxes gets stuck. The story of searching for the right home and discovering that it's where are already are is a nice little journey to go on. I would certainly recommend this to children who love to learn about animals!

It's a funny little story of three very noisy foxes that live in a very noisy city and they decide maybe it would be nice to be quiet for a while. But as they move away from the very noisy city they realize that places in the country side are too tall, too dark, too wet, and TOO QUIET. With a little help from a quiet mouse they find out that the best place for them was the very noisy city they came from.

Some light change is good, but just cause you wanna do something different doesn't mean you need to overhaul your whole life.

I am biased as I love foxes, but the illustrations in this lift it to another level as they are full of fun details. The story follows three foxes looking for the perfect, quiet place to live so they set off to the countryside.
Owl's house is quiet...but it's too high.
Mole's house is quiet...but it's too dark.
Eventually they find the perfect house for them, which just might be closer than they had thought!
A cute story about finding out where you fit in the world.

Three very noisy foxes decide to try to find a quieter home away from the city. The foxes encounter a badger, a frog, a mole, and an owl, but are unable to find a satisfactory home until they encounter a mouse who knows the perfect spot.

Some nosy foxes build a house in the city, but it is too busy for them, so they set out to find some place more quiet. I enjoyed the artwork, and the ending was funny.

Lots of onomatopoeia at play in this book. The Noisy Foxes are trying to find a quiet place to live, but end up realizing they are noisy and need to live amidst the chaos.

A lovely book about three noisy urban Foxes who want to move to the countryside to find some peace and quiet. They meet lots of friendly animals who show them their houses, but they are too wet, too dark, and even too quiet... Where will they end up?

The text overlays the full double page pictures, it's beautifully bright and imaginative. The text is simple but poetic, it would be possible for year 1 or 2 children to read, or a great book for parents to read at bedtime or to a whole class.

I am still laughing. This book follows the foxes from the city in search of a quiet place. Along the way to the country they meet various animals and their homes. Spoiler alert - they end up back where they began. Living out in the beautiful country myself, I chuckle at seeing people moving to the country and wanting to change things. An adorable twist
