I used to have this book as a kid and I loved it. The version I had was interactive where I would tie the shoes laces attached to the cover of the book. I really like how hands on this book is and how easy it is for the reader to follow along.

My 6 year old actually learned to tie her shoes by reading this book. It was less frustrating for her than trying to listen to instructions and get her hands in the right places at the right times.

Red in one hand, yellow in the other. This seems like a good way to teach kids to tie their shoes. We'll see how my nephew does with this approach.
