They say when you're so stressed out in life and just needed an escape, the best thing to do is read a light hearted book, but I say, read a smutty one.

Now, I have been a Shanora Williams fan. Who wasn't? With her knacks of all things taboo and scorching scenes this bitch here is all heart eyes and grabby hands. She just can write about things that's so cringing yet yummy. So, with a novella? it's another story. It's not usually my cup of tea and I do admit I am usually picky. Intrigued by the short message of Shanora before reading the book, I pretty much devoured it. It's unputdownable. Caress just made me want to read all things novella.

Caress by Shanora Williams is a short story that just made my reader burning. First few pages and I keep on turning the pages hooked with Kobe and Chanel. I love it and l love the fact that the story despite how short, was condensed well giving readers not just to enjoy the smut but the storyline as well. As always, Shanora Williams delivered what she aimed to deliver. Everything is on point that you'll get connected with the story right from the very start. It's lightheartedness coupled with hot scorching scenes just flowed flawlessly. Even Kobe and Chanel's portrayal wasn't forced despite the lenght of the story. It's scorchingly written youll get invested from beginning until the end.

To sum up, I love both the characters. I adored them especially Kobe. I had fun reading their sexy, sweet and short journey. It might be a quick read with all instalust but one I enjoyed reading.

So, if you want your panties soaked? I recommend this book to you. It's all pure "OH.MY.FUCKING.WOW.MORE.DON'T.STOP.WHEW' moments. It's just oh so good!

I LOVED Kobe and Chanel so much. This was another great addition to this series and I can't wait for the next one:)

If you like short, sweet n sexy, low drama and just a great HOT quick read then grab these novella's because they are great.

OK, so why not 5 stars, well, although it was short, I wanted and needed more in that Epilogue for sure!

Sous ce pseudonyme se cache Shanora Williams, une auteure discrète mais efficace qui a une large palette de romances à son actif. Quand elle écrit sous ce nom, c’est essentiellement des romances courtes et érotiques. J’ai un peu hésité à ouvrir celle-ci car la première du genre m’avait un peu déçue. Non pas qu’elle était ratée mais ce format court et délibérément érotique laisse peu de place à la vraie relation amoureuse que je préfère largement.

Et j’ai bien fait de me lancer dans cette histoire que l’auteure m’a envoyée pour une chronique. Parce qu’elle est bien meilleure selon moi et si elle tient ses promesses du point de vu de la sensualité, elle est aussi très satisfaisante sur d’autres points de vue. le thème est efficace depuis longtemps puisqu’il s’agit de la relation qui va se développer entre un garde du corps et sa cliente.

Chanel est mannequin vedette et donc très exposée aux medias et aux délires de certains hommes. Elle a besoin de protection et le dernier qui a assuré ce rôle s’est révélé aussi dangereux que des psychopathes éventuels. Le père de Chanel qui est riche et célèbre va recourir aux services d’un nouveau garde du corps, Kobe (curieux nom…). Kobe est l’archétype du garde du corps: silencieux, taciturne, efficace. Tout ce qu’on lui demande est de protéger Chanel, ce qu’il a bien l’intention de faire. Kobe a arrêté d’exercer son métier pendant plusieurs mois, a besoin d’argent et n’a jamais été tenté de s’impliquer dans une relation avec une cliente. Ça va changer !

I’m really enjoying these little Novella’s that Shanora Williams has been releasing. They are quick reads, straight up smut with a side of story.

Chanel is a top model. With an over the top Dad who will do anything to protect his little girl. Even though at her age, she is old enough to make decisions on her own, Daddy will always see Chanel as his little girl, one he needs to protect.

Kobe is the #1 bodyguard around. Flawless record for keeping those under his watch protected. After taking a year off for ‘personal’ reasons, he is back at it. First up is being the bodyguard to Chanel, hired by her father with promises from her father that Kobe needed to keep his distance, don’t get involved with Chanel, do his job and things will be perfect.

Well we all know that when Dad tells you to concentrate on your modeling career and do not get involved with the new bodyguard…You are going to…
When your Boss tells you to stay away from his daughter or else you will never work security another day…You don’t listen to that.

It just takes one taste and Kobe and Chanel are hooked. They are willing to risk it all for happiness. What a sexy, steamy ride they venture on!!!

Can anyone say dirty alpha bodyguard??? Thoroughly enjoyed this latest Novella from Shanora Williams (aka Nora Heat). Chanel needs a firm hand and Kobe is the perfect guy to give it to her. Perfect combination of action, laughs, Insta lust and a great HEA made this a perfect lunch break read. Definitely recommend if you're looking for a quickie.

Oh my. Shanora Williams certainly turns up the dirty dial to high with this naughty novella! An unmistakable attraction formed between client and bodyguard that is wildly sexy, wildly forbidden and wonderfully tender all at the same time.

Kobe taking on the likes of Chantal as his newest contract will definitely be more than he bargained for after his year-long hiatus. But the fierce bodyguard desperately tries to do his job despite his insatiable attraction to the super-model. The chemistry between them is insane and you just know things are going to get beyond HOT as they are forced to spend almost every waking moment together.

I love this bawdy side to Shanora Williams. All the sexiness and erotic trysts one can handle in a shorter book. Together with a vulnerability from both Kobe and Chantal to make the story touching and more human than just continuous romps in the hay.

I definitely look forward to more from the author's alter ego since these are great escapes from the every day life we all live and give Caress 4 very steamy stars!!

Caress by Nora Heat is a short, hot, and heartwarming story about an It girl and her bodyguard.

A forbidden romance filled with so much chemistry and heat, it'll burn your socks off.

When Kobe, as the most-wanted bodyguard in the industry, gets hired by Mr. Gooding, he never knew this would serve as his turning point.

Channel pushes his buttons like no other. It doesn't help that their attraction is sky high and reciprocated by both parties. On top of that, Mr. Gooding had made Kobe understand the consequences of getting involved with his daughter.

The only thing is, when your connection is that strong with someone, you and them is inevitable. That, I like to think, is how Kobe and Chanel came to be. They tried to deny it but it just wouldn't stay hidden or ignored for long.

Though short, I love that the author managed to convey feeling of hurt, anger, pain, as well as lust. This story was such a fun one to read, it included feelings you never normally see in smut, a hint of danger and a lot of heat.

Another great read from Shanora Williams as Nora Heat.

Hated it

I found myself within this book after reading another of hers that I really enjoyed. This? Not so much.

Chanel is dumb AF. Seriously. This dummy had a recent incident with a previous body guard becoming a stalker. Inks not even dry on the restraining order and she’s trying to walk outside at night by herself to the corner store. She tells her new body guard, Kobe, that he’s not to follow her. And (SHOCKINGLY) she’s accosted by said ex body guard. The most ridiculous part was that she is in the WELL LIT, MOST LIKELY CTV WIRED STORE and instead of asking the cashier to call the cops she just pays and runs out the door?????????
She’s a million dollar super model and she’s risking her life to walk outside and get a soda when she’s rich enough to order in? This story pissed me off so damn bad I couldn’t read past that scene. Absolutely ridiculous I’ve never instantly disliked a character more in my life. If that were my daughter I’d slap her silly.

Again, Shanora Williams aka Nora Heat does not disappoint. Not only is she able to pull you into some amazing but flawed characters, but she is also able to turn out an emotional story with the hotness to boot!!

Caress is about love, it’s about lost but most importantly it’s about discovery. That is what Channel and Kobe find out not only about each other, but themselves. This was a good one folks!!!
