I think I need a fan. Several fans, actually. Better yet, a nice long *cold* shower. Because damn are these boys hot! Read this story way back when it first came out and aside from the missing word or two sort of typo, it still stands the test of time. Now I have a craving for more Fox & Rat fic, not to mention the urge to watch all my old X-Files tapes again.

4.5 stars. This was a read that I only picked up at bedtime and I really enjoyed taking my time with it. I like having something to unwind with every night to ease stress even though this fic was VERY stressful omg. The angst in this was a lot but so good. I loved it. The writing was really good and I loved the main characters even when they were being shit heads to one another. I'm a huge fan of The X-Files and Star Trek: Voyager so the mash up was pretty awesome. Fox and Alex were kinda toxic for each other but it worked somehow. Plus the spice was pretty damn good as well. And shout out to my girl Dana Scully for being the voice of reason in this. My queen.

X-Files fan fiction slash story crossover with Star Trek Voyager.
Part One: Waiting For the Axe to Fall
Part Two: Walking the Razor's Edge
Part Three: Wielding A Double Edged Sword

Gripping and filled with drama and details from canon. She picks up every loose end and weaves it into the narrative, finds a rational explanation for everything unexplained, finishes all the dangling story lines and brings it all home beautifully. I read this one at least once every single year.

I read this book in April 2016 and it counted towards my 2016 challenge but when I reread it January 1, 2017 and entered that date...it wiped previous reading off my challenge. Is that fair?
