Voltron is not my favorite property, but I'm trying to read EVERYTHING by Dan Jolley. This comic book was solid. It rehashed the origin of Voltron in a new, yet familiar way. I enjoyed it.

Interessante rivisitazione in chiave statunitense della classica serie televisiva nipponica,a metà strada tra remake e sequel,ambientato in un lontano futuro in cui il Voltron sembra essere perso per sempre proprio nel momento in cui una nuova minaccia è pronta a distruggere la pace faticosamente conquistata nella galassia...
Lo stile visivo della serie è incredibilmente dettagliato e abbastanza differente dalla serie originale da non risultare una semplice imitazione,pur rispettando i punti chiave dello stile dell'opera originale e l'uso dei colori è fenomenale.
Dal punto di vista della trama i legami con la serie originale sono abbastanza forti da soddisfare i fan di lunga data,ma non troppo invasivi,così da non confondere lettori che si affacciano al mondo del robot multicolore per la prima volta,e il cast,pur essendo completamente nuovo rispetto alla serie originale,è decisamente ben caratterizzato ed interessante.
