The plot thickens!
Book #2 and #3 really read like a single book. So you definitely need to read The Vampire’s Prisoner first. Kat’s sister, Ruth, was taken prisoner to the Red Keep - HQ for the Red Circle. She manages to escape but is in a labyrinth of sewer tunnels as she tries to find a way out. She is befriended by a wolf shifter, Logan. It appears that these two have developed a fondness for each other. In the meantime, Kat, Ansel and Edmund are on their way to Castle Belmont to help with the Red Circle troubles they’re having as well as track down the other breeder sisters of the prophecy.
I loved this book. It’s been a departure than any other PNR book I’ve read, to date, as there are so many leading characters. Kat, Ansel, Edmund, Ruth, Eric, Sophia, Rubago, “The Vistor” and a few others all have chapters that advance the storyline from their POV. I didn’t find it too busy or disruptive. I loved getting into the minds of so many characters.
The storyline is pretty intriguing and we get a bit of a reveal that really turns things on its head. Can’t wait to continue with the next book.

A vampires history of degeneration.
I thought the story was good but for me it could've been excellent. The romance scenes could have been more developed. The action scenes were good. The historical content should have been better organized. I would like to have more investigation into Vrakos and his obsession with eliminating vampires. I believe there could've been more content than just his desire to want to die. Recommend to readers but I feel this author could do better. .😇

I choose the five star rating because it was a fantastic book along with the rest of the series. I really hope the author will decide to write more amazing books for this series. This book has an amazing plot with unique characters and it's a story filled with romance and action

This was a crazy story. Finally things are tying in together. SO much dreams in this war against hunters, lycans, vampires, and humans. How much worse can it get? Great book! Excellent series so far!

The Vampire 's Mate (Tales of Vampires Book 3)
This book was fantastic. It's full of action, love and adventure. It kept me reading non stop from beginning to end. There was something exciting happening on every single page. I can't wait to read the next book in the series !!!

Couldn't wait to finish it!!
This series has turned out to be a page turner. I binged it till I was on to the next book. Love how there are sex scenes but they are not overdone. Very good series indeed.

Each book continues to leave me wanting more. Yes there are some spelling errors, and sentences that need work, but I definitely enjoy reading Zara's Tales of Vampires Series.

It was ok. I felt that there was no build up to their relationship. Things happened with no real understanding of why. I won’t read the rest of the series.
