Cute short thriller of an attempt to catch a serial killer. The romantic part was a bit too much like insta-love (most events are over the course of a single day), but the story was fun and quick. Sets the stage for the next in the series.

Short novella

Short novella that leads up to the first in a series. I hadn’t read the series yet but enjoyed meeting Serena and Jason and Ginger. Can’t wait to find out if the killer comes back for them or not.

What a great opener to a new series. I've enjoyed Terri Reed's books for years, but this was a sweet surprise. None of the usual lovers angst and tension from stalkers or killers while on the run.

Instead, we go on the hunt for a serial killer, and romantic potential is the catalyst for living free of the past. "We've only just met." Loved this book!

I also read Terri Reed's sample for Mission To Protect, book one in the new Military K-9 Unit series, and I so look forward to April when it debuts.

Amazing read and I enjoyed this action packed short by Terri Reed! Serena is trying to do her job as a forced hire on at the police department but the sheriff isn’t happy and doesn’t want her around at all! So when Sarena’s K-9 Ginger picks up the scent of the killer she makes an important decision to search any way. That’s when she stumbles upon detective Jason Hargrove the owner of the ranch she finds herself on. Jason and Serena decide to go after the killer together and hope they survive the ordeal and a hope for the future with a chance of love!

Can Serena and Ginger price their worth when it comes to tracking the Red Rose Killer? Or will she always have a stigma because the Sheriff was forced to hire her. When Serena partners up with Jason Hargrove she is in for a big surprise.

Jason helps Serena see her worth and to always trust her judgement. After things get very dicey will she finally see that she has proved herself? Will Boyd Sullivan slip through her hands once again or has she nailed him at last.

This is a fun easy read in the red rose killer series!

What a start

The prequel got off to a wonderful start, someone is killing people and leaving a red rose with a note. The deputy in Dill with the aid of a retired Dallas policemen, captured the culprit. But wait a minute, after two years in prison the culprit escapes. This series is getting off to an exciting start.

Excellent read. I love the military and their dogs. Good intrigue and good love story. Jason sounds awesome and a good match to the sheriff's deputy. They'll make a good team.

Nice story. Love hearing about a dog well trained and doing it's job. Unfortunately, I did not realize this is a "christian" book, so will not be reading any more in the series.
