Adam sighed. He felt a slight flutter in his stomach as the baby began to move. He rested a hand on his belly. “Looks like someone just woke up.”

“Can I feel?” asked Melinda, her face brightened considerably as she leaned forward. “I’ve been trying to keep from asking you questions all day, but I just can’t hold back anymore.”

Adam’s heart swelled at the sight of the pure joy on his mother’s face. She was ready to be a grandma. He couldn’t have possibly denied her request.

Three months ago, Adam Kilder’s entire life was torn apart when a freak accident rendered him an amnesiac. With his memories showing no signs of returning, he loses his job and finds himself teetering on the edge of homelessness.

That’s when not one, but two sexy alpha males from his past being trying to win his heart. Alex is determined to win Adam’s love by any means necessary. James is much more interested in trying to earn Adam’s affection through friendship.

Alex goes to great lengths to try and turn Adam against his rival, telling him horror stories about the way James used to treat him. Adam is taken aback - he can’t remember that past, and is reluctant to cut off one of his only friends.

The romantic tension among the three comes to a head, and Alex is forced to retreat. A new problem arises, however, when Adam and James sleep together - and Adam discovers old wedding invitations hidden in James’s apartment.

When Adam learns he’s pregnant with James’s child – even though he can’t remember getting pregnant in the first place – the bitter love triangle threatens to tear a new family apart, and shatter the hearts of all involved.

In this heartrending 60,000-word mpreg tale of love and obsession, Memories of You, passion meets reality – and the result will leave you breathless.

With steamy scenes of gay lovemaking and explicit moments, Memories of You is intended for adult readers only.

Grab a tissue...hell grab the whole box. Because you just might need it for this second chance romance. This nivrl will have you looking towards the end of it in no time.

A true love story with some tragedy thrown in. Two men who deeply loved each other are tragically torn apart by one little accident. And with no memory of who he was before Hunter is starting from stratch. He's tired of the pitty he sees in his suppose family, colleagues and friends. He wants to get away from it all. But how? Then a handsome stranger who worked with him starts to bug him about getting out and doing new things. He says he loves him and that he has changed, but is it really true? He feels a bit stifled when around him. Then there's the handsome stranger next door to him, whose helping him with basics around the house like cooking and perhaps maybe getting a job interview. He feels safe and comfortable with him. He's not pushy and he seems to understand him. That and maybe he has just a bit of lust for him. All the feelings and experiences he had so far feel true but are they? Will his memories ever come back to him?

4 stars. This was a lot more emotional than I was expecting. I tend to not be a fan of the amnesia story line in books (only K-Dramas can get away with this!) but it was really well done here.

I loved the writing and the characters, Hunter and Luke are wonderful. Their second chance at love relationship was beautiful and it made all of the angst worth it in the end. I felt for both of them, Hunter and his amnesia and Luke because he had to basically make Hunter fall in love with him all over again. He’s a very sweet and caring man and I adored his character the most. Though I will say Hunter went through really great development. The ending was really cute and I appreciate that the author didn’t take the easy way out of having Hunter miraculously regain his memories, instead he just makes new memories and moves on with life.

Overall, this was a great read with wonderful characters and tasteful sex scenes. Loved it.

Hunter Kilder has amnesia, losing three centuries of memory. He loses his career as a lawyer and wants nothing more than to hideaway from everyone he knows and just wants to re-learn how to live. Unfortunately an ex co-worker, Vincent Crane, comes out of the wood work and claims they were an item and would love to pursue friendship and maybe more with him.

Luke Morrison is Hunter’s next door neighbor, a successful painter and has his own past with Hunter. As a form of punishment he wipes himself from Hunter’s life and swears friends and family to secrecy. He has a plan but the presence of Hunter’s old flame and Hunter’s memory loss may just conspire against him.

I felt disconnected from the read. Was the story an entertaining read?? I guess so. Would I read it again? Probably not. There’s not a lot of romancing between Hunter and Luke. For the most part Hunter is confused; he has amnesia and has to relearn everything. When Vincent and Luke come into the picture he’s still sorting through the mess his life has become. Both become a source of comfort but Hunter feels no attraction to either of them. This, in a way carries its way through out the book. There’s a very low level of chemistry between Hunter and his suitors, even less so when he actually picks the guy he does feel something more for.

There was a couple inconsistencies in the story. I had a few questions concerning the baby's survival. During the family gathering they said there was no need to know the baby’s sex since there was at least another like four months…but immediately after something happens and labor is induced.

An ARC was provided to me in exchange for an honest review.

Hunter is a lawyer but after having an accident and losing his memory, he has to look for another job.
Luke was an important person in Hunter’s life but he wants to win him again out of friendship and not just imposing him by telling him who he was.
A great story about how a person feels when he has no memories and he doesn’t know who to trust. The loneliness, the doubts, the lack of feelings towards people who were supposed to be someone important in his life, the impotence of not being able to remember, and the capacity of learning how to trust people again are some of the elements in this book. At the same time, the story shows us also the other part, I mean the one who suffers the effects of the amnesia in the loved person. How he tries to help him without telling him what to do and how his life was before the accident. How he sacrifices his love to help him unconditionally.
I like how Austen Bates is improving his writing with every book he writes.

This book was really lackluster. Not even the amnesia aspect managed to make it a little bit more interesting. Setting aside the mpreg part, the book was really ridiculous and unrealistic. Not only that, the writing is really bland, just as the portrayal of the protagonists. It’s not necessary bad, but it’s definitely not good. It doesn’t grasp your attention, you are not sitting on the end of your chair, the only reason you finish it it’s because is not that bad. But when you end up on the last page, you realize, it was close enough.

Six things I didn’t like (Surely there are more, but I’ve already forgotten them):
1) The husband, that pretends he doesn’t know his recently amnesiac partner, so he can win him again. Meanwhile he empties their apartment of his stuff, deletes his number and lies to him all the time.
2) The BFF of the husband. That scene where he hung in his gallery nude portraits without the consent of the artist and the model… Huge no-no.
3) The amnesia trope. So many chances, down the drain.
4) The writing (as I said before). I’ve even only highlighted two passages, not because I liked the writing, but just to be able to pinpoint specific scenes.
5) The portrayal of art/artists. Again something that could be so creative and intriguing, adding something more to the plot, manages to make it even more dull and uninspired.
6) The manipulative “sexy alpha of the past”, really unneeded. Again, didn’t offer anything to the plot.

The one thing that I liked in the whole entire book:
1) The Taxi! moment, where Adam, being forced to chose between the two sexy male alphas from the past, makes a third choice. He picked a taxi!
Long story short, despite all those melodramatic scenes, the plot still is unimaginative. Austin Bates is not for me unfortunately, because they have a lot of books about mpreg, that I’m not inclined to try at all.

A wonderful book the writing was good. The plot was entertaining and it was steady throughout the book. I found the story and characters likeable. The characters were well developed and thought out. Luke is an Alpha and Hunter is an Omega are the MC’s of this book. There was humor, old friends, Art Gallery, paintings, burnt food, amnesia, Hospital and so much more in this book.

Here is a quote from the book, “Luke worked feverishly on the painting. It had been a long time since paint had flown this easily from his brush and he reveled in the feeling of it. It was satisfying to see the image taking shape on the canvas. Layer after layer of paint built up on the surface. The warmth of a summer afternoon radiated from the image and grew stronger with every brushstroke. All he needed was a little more. A knock at the door startled him from his work. The easy stream of consciousness ground to a halt as he glanced at the time. It was already almost six. Swearing under his breath, Luke set aside his brush and made his way toward the front door. It was only after he’d opened it that he realized he’d never gotten dressed that morning and was standing in his boxers.”. There is more but you will need to read the book which I can recommend as a good read. I voluntarily read an advance copy of this book for an honest review.

Such an awesome book about tragedy, recovery and "renewal"! Poor Hunter had a freak accident and ended up having amnesia and not recognizing any of his family including his fiance. Luke, the fiance, choose to remove all traces of his part in Hunter's life before he came home from the hospital so he wasn't "forced" to be in a relationship where he didn't know his partner...he wanted to make Hunter fall in love with him all over again. There were ups, downs and a "stalker" in the form of an ex that just wants to control Hunter. Then they find out that Hunter is pregnant which brings a whole new twist to things!

As always Austin shows us how talented he is in his writing and held me within his clutches from the beginning of the book. I hope that I have given you enough information that you want to read the book but not so much as to spoil it for you. I voluntarily reviewed an advance copy of this book.

Hunter and Luke's story kept me transfixed from the moment I received it.

I felt bad for Luke because four days before his wedding to Hunter, Hunter loses his memory in a freak accident. Luke just wants the love of his life back where he belongs. Hunter tugged at my heart strings as well, as an omega who doesn't recognize his alpha and for the fact that he has an ex who is a stalker. I was so glad when they worked things out and came together like they were meant to be.
This is another winner for Austin and I can't wait to see what he comes out with next!

love conquers all

I loved this book. There was angst but not so much that you feel sick with it as I have with other books (I love those too)

I HONESTLY WANTED TO THROAT PUNCH VINCENT throughout the first half of the book and was so happy when he was told to kick rocks. I was happy that Hunter didn’t get his memories back because it made him falling in love with Luke a second time that much more special.
Overall it was a sweet second change love story.

Sweet story

I liked it. It was a sweet story. The only conflict, with Vincent, was easily resolved so most of the story was Luke and Hunter getting to know each other again. I think my favorite part was the grandparents Easter fight. Overall, It was a nice, straightforward, heartwarming story. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

Life is never simple and sometimes not pretty

I liked your book because it shows that sometimes hard work and patience in a relationship is not bad and can be rewarded. Your book wasn't overly sweet and dealt with some real issues that crop up in a relationship that was relatable to me and I enjoyed the ending - simple and sweet.

So GOOOOOD!

I can’t believe I waited so long to read this one! The storyline is amazing and real. Luke took a different approach from what most people would but it proved his love. I even wanted to strangle Hunter at times but over all I think this was one of the best mpreg books I’ve read!

MM. Alpha/Omega. Luke wants what is best for Hunter and makes decisions his family and friends believe are unnecessary. His actions also leave Hunter open to a destructive, past relationship. I hurt for Hunter and his trials through his amnesia. I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book.
