In America's Last Days, only the steadfast will prevail!
The Steadfast Series continues in STEADFAST BOOK FOUR by D.I. TELBAT as a new enemy makes its presence known in the Sharrock Mountains. Eric Radner discovers a camp of desperate survivors deep in the Wyoming wilderness. But something worse than the Meridia Virus has ravaged their numbers and their souls. In the midst of unforgiving weather, God's people must learn to forgive one another.
Though Eric pledges resources from River Camp to save the troubled people from a wintry death, only the truth about Jesus Christ can give them any peace and hope for a better future.
The Liberation Organization is still hunting for Eric and the rebels, but a more brutal enemy emerges to test Eric's stamina during America's Last Days.
This post-apocalyptic novella series follows a Christian survivalist and woodsman through the heartache and heroism of living in America's collapse, following a pandemic scenario. Christian persecution abounds, and fear cripples, but one man rises above the uncertain past and looks to a certain future in the hands of a mighty God.
In the midst of America's Last Days, Eric Radner is . . . STEADFAST!

I've been writing novels and short stories since I was a young teen. God has greatly impacted me, and I now desire to honor the Lord with my life and writing.
My stories can be read in several online and print publications, as well as three anthologies. My bestselling COIL Series include novels Dark Liaison, Book One; Dark Hearted, Book Two; Dark Rule, Book Three; and Dark Vessel, Book Four, and are available at most e-retailers, as are Jaguar Dusk, a Christian Special Forces novel, Sea Scribe, a Covert Christian Mission Suspense, and End Times Novel, God's Colonel. See my website for other novels and stories added often, including Dark Cover, COIL Book Five, to be out late 2014.
I offer free weekly Christian short stories, or serialized novels, my Author Reflections, and occasional challenges to the Christian Church on my Telbat's Tablet blog at http://ditelbat.com.
When I'm not writing, I'm very involved in Christian ministry. I've kept my home office in the NW U.S. where my assistant, Dee, lives and helps with my editing and writing needs.
My motto: There is no redemption without sacrifice.

If you have been reading this series I don't have to tell you how interesting, exciting, and challenging it is. Eric now seems so real to me that I have to remind myself he isn't. Even though you could read each book as a stand alone you would miss so much. I recommend starting at the beginning. Amazing what God can do when one man chooses to listen and obey. Can hardly wait for thhe next book.
This one tore at my heart in a way that the others didn't.
Some business first. Telbat offers two bonuses at the end of each book, one I never read, the other I read with delight. The first is a glimpse into the minds of the "bad guys." I don't read that because all you have to do these days is pick up a book, turn on the TV, or social media, or watch a movie and you are inundated with the minds of bad guys. Enough, thank you. The one that I read happily is a bonus short story about characters that will soon be finding their way into the fold, so to speak. I love them.
This book delves a little deeper into the heart of faith and some of the members of Eric's settlement. In this installation, a profound despair of an unimaginable nature is imagined, touched on, and explored, but with patience, gentleness, loving-kindness, and great faith at its core.
Eric and Joel's faith and skill, as trackers and hunters, is put to the test as they confront several severe situations and must find God's way to work through them. They are dealing with some pretty nasty bad guys and the consequences of their atrocious choices.
I wrestled a little with certain aspects of this book, but ultimately while I did cry, I also laughed out loud and finished with a huge grin on my face.
I wholeheartedly recommend this book, and you know I've already got book five open on my Kindle so guess what I'll be doing right after I hit "post."
Another great story, another great blessing in reading!!
Just another great story and stepping stone in the series, full of twists and turns you don't see coming!! This one took an even deeper turn, sometimes a little hard to read for just the harshness and into the seriousness and reality of the curse and wages of sin, especially in the light of post apocalyptic post pandemic survival thriller storyline he has so greatly woven together. Just keeps building and is real blessing and enjoyment to read!!
I feel these books deserve a 5 star rating for the way they honor and portray what it means to say you believe to live is Christ and to die is gain. God gave us His Word to help us survive in this fallen world and the author how this is done in his characters. They use the Bible to seek out wisdom, guidance and encouragement in everything they do or need to do. Thank you for your books.
I enjoyed reading this series. I thought the characters were well developed. The series wasn’t as fast paced as I would have liked, although there are some very edge of your seat moments. I feel like it was a worthwhile read but I’ve read better. There is a book 5 that I will definitely read though.
Facing the most startling threat yet , will this small.Mountain remnant stay alive ?
This is certainly the most perilous and shocking trial the steadfast series has encountered yet ; David will take you along with the characters that you grown to love along a journey that will take your breath away and challenge their and possibly even your beliefs .
This survival tale shows how truly weak we are without God. Good characters with forgiveness in their hearts. I wonder how Eric the main guy became so steadfast in his faith so quickly.
I'll have to go back and review the first three books in the Steadfast series, but since I've made it this far, you can be assured I am enthusiastic about this end- times saga! I'd write more, but book five is calling me.
Getting to know everyone better and perceiving an awesome view of their relationship to God. Hoping that I too will have that unselfish attitude toward my fellow man. You can learn so much reading these stories and enjoy the entertainment at the same time.
I love the way Christian values are the focus of this awesome end of the world as we know it series. It takes some of the fear out of what it might take if there isn't a pre-trib Rapture.
