3.5 stars. Cute story about a mystery invitation that Sasha is given. She has to figure out how to open it before it disappears. You can tell the series is about to wrap up because all of the characters from all realms (flying and not) are starting to appear in every book and come together and this one was no different. I liked that this one was mostly back with Wyatt (her first, non flying friend). It was a cute story that set up the next one nicely.

Good book for trying to get kids to start reading chapter books. My 2nd grade daughter enjoyed it, and was able to read it all on her own!

Sasha gets a mysterious message but in order to open the envelope she needs to solve the riddle of how to open the envelope.

Appropriate for: all ages!

Poor Wyatt. He does all the work, doesn't get to go to the party, and then is rewarded with wildflowers which he could literally find anywhere.

Sasha receives an envelope from the king and queen but can't figure out how to open it. When she realizes how it must be opened, she and Wyatt embark on a quest to find all the pieces needed for unlocking the envelope with the special message.
(I'm not sure if there was a miscommunication with the illustrator or maybe it was intentional, but there is clearly an object in one of the drawings early in the book that Sasha says she did not see. However, it is very apparent in the picture...not sure what to think.)
