3.5 stars. One of the better ones! History day is coming up and Sasha is given all the written stories of the flying horses' history to read over night. She is supposed to return it to the royal library at night and she doesn't and the words disappear. The moral is that histories are best told orally because then they live on forever, so everyone works together to orally tell the stories and then they return to paper.

My seven year old quickly made her way through this Sasha book. In this tale, Sasha learns the importance of knowing her history as well as learns the consequences of not following directions. Sasha initially hides her actions and tries to solve a problem herself. Fortunately, she changes her mind and seeks help to resolve the issue. As I might have mentioned before in my Sasha reviews, the illustrations are nice but it would be much better if they contained color.
