Insightful sharing of learning points to survive in the corporate world, targeted at mid-career professionals. As someone who works in an Asian environment, the examples used here were more relevant and relatable for me as compared to similar genre by Western writers.
This book reads like a loosely organized collection of short blog posts, sprinkling morsels of practical knowledge, self-deprecation, and advice on work, entrepreneurship, relationships, and life in general. Those who have over 5 years of grueling job experiences, however, probably won't find anything new that haven't been rehashed in many other similar books or repeated over private conversations at the water cooler. In a sense, the book is probably intended to be an easy read that inspires young professionals to take an active role in managing their career development, especially in this age of rapid changes and increasing job insecurity.
