I quite enjoyed the continuation of the New Rulebook series. Robert and Ruby are now engaged, with Pete Zendel safely behind bars. Their wedding is in 2 weeks. What could possibly get in the way? A message from the mayor of Snowy Peaks requesting Ruby’s help in stopping Pete Zendel – who has purchased the town, and have the mayor captive. Lots of action, and fun to see the characters develop. And cool tech! I liked the reminders in the book about how God takes care of us, and is a jealous God, who loves us a lot; He needs to be first in our lives and loves us more than anyone else on earth does. I received a free copy; this is my honest review.

My review today is on the Romantic Thriller, Snowy Peaks. This is the second book of The New Rulebook Christian Mystery Series. I really enjoyed the first book so I was glad to get the next book. This is a great read! This story is well written, action packed, and full of faith. I know you are going to love this one.
Ruby (Red) Masters receives a SOS phone call from the mayor of the small town of Snowy Peaks Maryland. It seems the mad man, Pete Zendal, (first book) has purchased the city. His mercenaries have invaded the town and taken over. Red was the one who stopped him and put him in prison; she's the only one that can stop him now. The problem is that in two weeks she and Robert are to be married. Red takes a team in with her to explore what is going on. She must leave Robert behind as they asked for her. Once they arrive they find themselves attacked and have no way out.
Robert Towers is upset to see her go. He had lost her once and couldn't stand the thought of losing her again. She is only gone for a couple of days when he receives a message that she is in trouble. Can he get to her in time to save her? How can Pete hurt her when he is still in prison?
A journey to save a small town that is instrumental in all the power to the East Coast from a mad man. These two have a mission from God to save the known world from this whole New Rulebook Order. God has a plan for these two, a good plan and not for evil. God has a plan for you too. Give Him your heart and watch Him save your little world. God is so good.

Snow peaks the second book of The New Rulebook Christian Suspense series Books from Joy Ohagwu is a well-written suspense series based on Christian principles. It is a very exciting story in which you get to know the great characters well. It is a faith-building story that makes you think about how you handle certain situations yourself. The series shows you how dangerous it is when certain very rich people can be a danger if they push their own agenda and try to realize their own ideals at the expense of everything and everyone. The series makes you think about what is happening in the world around you today and how important it is to follow God's way at all costs. The series touched my heart deeply. Evil might as well play their game but God is still in control and still has the last word. Very curious about the next book.

Snowy Peaks gives you lots of action as Ruby and Robert fight against evil. Ruby and Robert are both strong leading characters. Pete Zendel may be in prison but he and his organization still control many people! If you enjoy modern action books, you will enjoy Snowy Peaks, the second book in The New Rulebook series. I received a complimentary e-book of Snowy Peaks from the author. This is my honest opinion.

There's an unexpected twist! Neither the characters nor the reader could've expected...at least I didn't. Snowy Peaks tugs at the heart, but still satisfies one's appetite for action.
A scene nearing the ending had me wondering what I would've done...but I won't spoil it for you!
Obviously it's a continuation from the first book, The New Rulebook, so in my view, it helps to have read the first book first. Happy reading.

An inmate buys a town. Ruby "Red" Masters receives an SOS message from the mayor of Snowy Peaks. Pete Zendel has besieged their town.
I love a story that draws you in, then keeps you reading to find out what's going to happen. Snowy Peaks did that. There's mystery along with tension.
The plot is unique, the characters interesting. I enjoyed faith being incorporated into the story without it becoming "religious."

I'm sorry, but I just couldn't get past all of the grammatical errors, as well as the cardboard cutout characters. I think that the plotting was pretty good, however, a really good editor, and a GREAT proofreader who knows her/his grammar inside and out is what is needed for this and subsequent volumes in the series.

I received this book free for my true and honest opinion. There is thrill and suspense in this story. What is missing at times is a sense of time and continuity. I am still thrilled with the characters and the sub plot of relationships, but I got the feeling that pays were rushed when more time and detail would have worked well. Still a fun, faith-based suspense read.

Ruby answers an SOS from the mayor, the town of Snow Peaks had been bought at an auction, the owner, a prison resident. Pete is glad that Ruby is still alive, gives him something to think about. Ruby is uncertain about the mission, which is the plot for this book. Full of twists, of how they plan , and will they get out. Keeping her mind on this and not her wedding in two weeks

How does a man in prison manage to take over a town in order to institute his empire? It seems unbelievable but he does it & manages to break out of prison. There are lots more things that happen in this book that you have to read to understand. It certainly is a very good mystery. I read this book as part of the 3 book box set I purchased.

Robert and Ruby's story will have you on the edge of your seat waiting to see what happens next. You will feel God working throughout this whole book. The way the characters worked together is truly remarkable.

I received this book free from the author and thoroughly enjoyed it. This makes two books in this series I have read about how Ruby (Red) and her now fiancee a police officer stopped a man from controlling everyone around him, this making the second time. Now to the wedding

Keeps the saga going. Develops the characters in more depth. Shows degrees of development in those on both sides of the law. A fun read that draws the reader to the edge of Robert and Ruby becoming one in wedded bliss.

Great book full of edge of the seat suspense. 2nd book in the rulebook series. If you like suspenseful and clean stories, I highly recommend.

Although this series can be read individually I recommend that you get them all.

The New Rulebook II by Joy Ohagwu continues the battle against evil.
Supposedly securely locked up in prison, Pete Zendel somehow manages to buy the town of Snowy Peaks from his cell. Only one woman is called on to stop him, and that is Ruby who has faced him before. Her wedding plans are temporarily halted as she battles once more against evil forces.
The theme of life being a battle between spiritual forces is present throughout the novel. The good characters are very good, and the bad are pure evil. The atmosphere in the book is very tense, with the main battle being fought under the cover of darkness.
God is also present throughout with the characters calling to Him in times of trouble. His sovereignty is supreme, as Ruby declares that she knows someone more powerful than Zendel's evil deeds, and that is God.
The need to be a protector is demonstrated by Ruby's fiancé Robert. He is always looking out for her welfare.
The theme of forgiveness is raised, as one character finds it hard to dispense. This particular character is determined to seek revenge, and to right previous wrongs. At the climax this character has to choose forgiveness or vengeance - read the novel to see what happens.

This is the second book by Joy Ohagwu that I have read . I really did not know what to expect with The New Rulebook 2 , but I enjoyed it very much. Safety in numbers
Really enjoying this series. Lots of action and suspense, plus loads of Godly moments. In this book Ruby is called to action in order to save many from a crazed man, Pete Zendel, and his minions. What's interesting is when it all goes down Robert and Ruby face the psycho after he escapes from jail. He mentions that there is someone that hates them more and wants them to pay more. Will they come face to face with this crazy-scary person? Can't wait to read more!

Ruby and Robert are planning their wedding when they get a mysterious call from someone in a town called Snowy Peak that causes them to put their plans on hold.
There is never a dull moment in this story, it will intrigue you and have you up in the wee hours of the night try to figure out the mystery of Snowy Peak. You will be anxious to know what Ruby and Robert will encounter and do they have enough faith in God to trust Him for whatever the outcome maybe. Great story! Now we need book 3.

She races to a small town in Western Maryland to help the people get rid of Peter's henchmen ,whp have taken over the town leaving behind Robert and her wedding plans.
We see God at work as he protects the group of people that rally behind Ruby as she helps the people of Snow Peaks.
I loved the story line, the suspense and the dramatic end to the book.
I am very anxious for the next one.

May 11, 2016..and the story continues! The suspense and danger that Ruby and Robert encounter, keeps you reading to the end! I really like the faith and trust that the characters keep through out the whole book! Robert being a police officer and the Ruby a civilian give the reader two different perspectives...one with criminal training and the other with life skills. A must read if you enjoy intrigue and suspense.
