Sweet story. Makes one feel cozy. Got a couple laughs when the tough dinosaurs needed help.

Absolutely LOVE this book. Dinosaur that stays true to himself and his passions, in the end he is a hero.

Just adorable! And a great lesson in valuing traits outside the norm, especially for boys.

Because the boys' dad does some knitting I thought this might be a fun book. Unfortunately, it's rather dull. So there's this dinosaur and he knits and frets about not looking like a "real" dinosaur. Then the ice age comes and his knitting saves him and his brothers. ~yawn~

This is absolutely one of my favourite children's books. I am devastated it is now out of print and used copies selling for thousands of dollars.
