This was such a short and bittersweet story. Read it in about half an hour. I love Beauty and The Beast retellings and this was a good one. Definitely recommend if you want to read something really quickly, maybe to get out of a slump or catch up to your reading goal.

A truely unique look at the Beauty and the Beast tale. Whether you like the traditional tales or a bit of a witch story, this one is for you. It is the most original retelling I've read!

Really much rather a short story than a novella, Unlovable was a quick, easy but albeit forgettable read. I do believe it is meant to have some sort of link to a book the author has written which I have not read. Nonetheless, I found it fairly interesting, especially at the beginning. The idea could have definitely been expanded on, and with more depth, could have been turned into a longer, more fulfilling read. The ending is a little abrupt but leaves the reader on a sweet note.
