Ms Michaels has a gift for creating fast paced sexy shifter series and this one didn't disappoint, I was lucky enough to find this on my Kindle quite soon after the first book had been reviewed, so I soon slipped back into the Highland Wolf Clan pack and all the cool characters.
Cameron 'Sin' Sinclair is the Reluctant Alpha to not one but 2 packs now! boy has he got his hands full, but with a strong team of pack mates he is trying to rid the remaining bad eggs from the pack lands.
When things are looking like they are getting better, a child is found dead... who would do such a despicable crime? It soon seems that there still lingers a cruel legacy from the past.
Cam's love life is also causing him to loose sleep, his mate lies in a coma and all he can think about is staying by her side, be soon realises that to be Alpha means putting your needs in second place, and he has to leave her side to look for the killer.

This is book 2 of this riveting series ala A.K Michaels.
Cameron has accepted his role as Alpha of the Highland Wolf Clan after the death of his uncle the previous Alpha, but he swears to himself that it will only be temporary. What he doesn't count on is the feelings he has for Chastity and he will continue to fight them also.
Cameron manages to bring Chastity back from her deep coma, but a more threatening and evil Rogue is out there and he is massacring all the wolves from his old pack in his search for Chastity. Now Cameron Swears to eliminate this new threat and keep his Chastity safe from this monster, yes his Chastity.
Jacob comes head to head with the witch Rebecca, who will win in this battle. Will the big PI be left in the air, or will his charms win over the feisty witch?
Love is definitely in the air and quite a few of them have been bitten, ones you would never imagine.
Lots of action and surprises in this book
Can't wait to read book 3, especially with all those Scotsmen flying in. Will Cameron's clansmen form a new pack besides the Highland Wolf Clan?

Waiting by his white wolf's side praying she would wake up from her coma Cam thought the threat to the packs was over. But he soon finds out that he was wrong. Now not only is he struggling with his decision of stepping up to be alpha, and his new and confusing feelings for Chastity the white wolf, he also has to hunt down a murdering psychopath that is hell bent on destroying everything Cam has worked so hard to fix. It is definitely not easy being Alpha.
I absolutely love Cam and his unruly fellow wolves! It was rather funny watching most of them run around like lovestruck puppies when the women were close by but man can they turn on the sexy badass when something was threatening them and theirs. It did feel a bit rushed at points wrapping up the more tense situations rather quickly and I was left with some questions that were never answered. Still I am excited for book 3 and hope some things will be explained then. Plus there is an entire plane full of new sexy wolves coming over from Scotland and who would want to miss that!?!? Overall this was a great story and I definitely recommend it.

Chastity has still not awoken and Cam has no idea what to do. He uses his magic and senses something dark inside her. Many of the pack are finding mates and Cam is trying to run from his.
When Chastity finally awakens Cam learns that her nephew is even worse than her brother. He is a murderous fiend who needs to be put to death. Once the sorcerer and nephew are dealt with the pack work together to get things back to some what normal.
Cam can no longer hide what he knows to be truth about himself and Chastity.
I love how the author brings characters from book 1 over into book 2 so the story flows with no interruptions. I can’t wait until the next book and look forward to all the new wolves coming up to help.

Cam has finally awakened Chastity.The attraction is just as strong and so many are finding love while Cam is still fighting it. He's still mostly undecided about being the Alpha, a new and ultra deadly foe is out to get him & Chastity and he's still waiting for the reinforcements from home. When the attack comes Cam finally decides. The supporting characters continue to be awesome and make this story even more amazing. I want to live in the house Rebecca visits. If you want to know where that is, give this a read. Please hurry up with book three because I need to know what's up with the new guys.

WOWZA! I absolutely love it! The Alpha Decides is the second book in the brilliant new series, Highland Wolf Clan by A.K. Michaels and it totally rocks! Having previously read Ava's work, I naturally expected it to be good but in the words of Tony The Tiger - IT'S GRRREAT!!! Ava has dazzled us yet again with her amazing talent and incredible skill; and given us another paranormal masterpiece filled with adventure, suspense, intrigue, action, fantasy, magic and romance. The story is exciting, thrilling, riveting, imaginative, humorous, romantic and arousing. The dialogue is smart, intelligent, very well written and flows effortlessly. The characters are fascinating, captivating, intriguing, endearing, engaging and sexy as sin. Wolf shifter Cameron 'Sin' Sinclair has it all - good looks, a bevy of women at his beckoned call, prestige, wealth and his own private jet. He is dangerous, demanding, ruthless and powerful and never shy about taking what he wants. But the one thing he definitely does not want is to return home to the Highlands of Scotland to take his father's place as Alpha of his clan. Nope, never going to happen - not after the way his father treated him growing up. He will NEVER be an alpha. This is the second in the Highland Wolf Clan series and was just as good if not better than the first.
Cam is struggling to decide whether he can and wants to take on the Alpha role and if he can accept Chastity as his true mate. The story starts out with Chastity still in her restless state of comatosed sleep, trapped in her own mind with the horrors her family caused her. Facing the agony of Chastity in an endless slumber not knowing of she would ever come out of it, Cam let himself get lost in her room not existing for nearly two weeks. Fighting his own battle with not understanding his emotions and thoughts, neglecting his role as Alpha.
Jinx finally calls in Stracey to bring Cam out of it, and she does nearly instantly. Which is a good thing because come to find out they are about to encounter trouble. A new threat is on the horizon, everyone thought things would start to get better after disposing of Philippe Dupont, little did they realize his son Mallory would return to create havoc. Since they didn't even know he had a son or that his son was even more psychopathic than he was.
But through all the chaos and toils love is in the air. It's almost as if there is something in the water because the guys are imprinting fast and hard on their mates. Having a difficult time controlling themselves, nearly exploding inside trying to handle the problem that is Mallory while waiting for the mating ritual to take place. All they really want is a fast ride to freedom with their mates for the rest of their lives.
This is a new beginning and with the male wolves they have called for from Scotland I'm sure the next book will keep us thoroughly entertained!

This is book two in the Highland Wolf series. Book one needs to be read first to be able to follow the story. It picks up where we left off in book one with Chastity still in a coma from the injuries her brother gave to her. Cam is a mess he's devastated and won't leave Chastity's side, he knows this is because they are mates but Cam is stubborn and won't admit they are meant to be.
All the main characters seem to be pairing up with mates in this book so there are some steamy scenes to be had! Will Chastity wake up, and if she does will Cam accept her as his one true mate? Read to find out!
It's not all about the romantic side of things there's a new problem to be solved and another fight to the death.
I was once again pulled into this supernatural world, as with book one this is highly addictive! This book is packed with even more Drama, intensity, action and suspense! AK Michaels writing pulls you into this magical world and makes you feel as if you are right there beside the wolves!

Cameron is struggling with his new position of alpha of not only one but two packs. He is also conflicted about how he feels about the white she-wolf. Cam never wanted to be an Alpha let alone find his soul mate. The White Wolf has been in a coma for two weeks since her attacked even though her brother Philippe Dupont, who reigned terror on the wild ranch pack was killed by Cam, another evil threat is looms over both packs. Cam finally comes out of his room from watching over Chastity the white wolf by his assistant Stracey and not only attends to his corporate business but fulfills his Alpha Duties. Using his witch powers cam goes inside Chastity mind trying to pull her out of the darkness, and it finally works and Cam realizes he cannot be without his white wolf she is his mate and this scares Cam. Love is in the air, Jinx and Rory both found their mates, so Cam must perform the mating ceremony. Before this takes place the need to find Mallory and rid the threat to both packs, he had already killed another cub, know one thought to inform the alpha or beta of him because they thought he was gone and was never coming back. But he was back to avenge Philippe (his fathers death).
Mallory is dealt with and the mating ceremonies take place. Cam has also called his brother Grant to see if he will send some willing young wolf to help rebuild the wild ranch pack and the highland pack. Jacob and Becca have decided to make a life but she is struggling with the whole bonding issue and Chastity has agreed to be Cams Alpha mate. I can’t wait to see how this all comes together, for Fergie is having a hard time dealing with his disability and not being alpha. I expect a lot of twist and turns in book 3, I know we will not be disappointed.

So after enjoying the first of the Highland Wolf Clan books so much I was desperate to read book two and A K Michaels didn't disappoint. Picking up where we left off we see the relationships we sense growing developing further...almost seeing the wolves turn into men finding their mates and growing into the individuals we knew they were.
Cam our main man, the Alpha (despite his resistance) is continually supported and backed by his friends. Some of which are more like brothers. But when the White wolf he fell for in book one sheds light on who kept her in fear amongst her darkest hour, trouble lies ahead. We see the packs pulling together and new blood being called upon.
The new wolf Mallory would cause heartache amongst the pack and shows a madness no one understands. But would Cam and his brothers be able to find him before he reaches the only family he has?
A truly mind blowing book. With laughter (mainly from me chuckling!), love, pain and loss. Not to mention the steamy sessions between the mating pairs! It's a brilliant read. I am already chasing Ava for book three!
A magical book of wolves, witches (and one nasty warlock!) which will take you to a whole other mystical world :)
An honour to read and a well deserved five star book.

Cam hasn't left Chastity's side since she went into the coma. The guilt and confusion he feels knows no bounds, and he's stopped caring about anything else. Complete with men in kilts ready to party, this story follows right on the heels of The Reluctant Alpha charming us with its intermingling of characters, pack dramas and, above all, Hot, Hot passion. I love the way Ava steps out of the norm and runs multiple plotlines in one story, weaving her magic and creating a fluid, easily read tale with a lot of engaging characters.

Cameron Sinclair is now alpha of his uncle’s pack in America. While he is taking over, Chastity, the white wolf shifter he saved lays in a coma. He is fearful of his feelings for her because he has never felt this strongly about a female before. Now that the other pack’s leader is dead, he has to help that pack choose a new alpha and rebuild. He needs to help that pack heal after all the atrocities they were forced to live through. All this is new to Cameron, he never wanted to be alpha of a pack and he sure didn’t expect that he would have to run two packs. He is also waiting for some of the clan members from his brother’s pack to come and assist him. MMMMM an influx of sexy Scot shifters is just what any woman needs.
While dealing with all of that, Chastity comes out of her coma, but still needs to be protected because her nephew is still out there killing on his mission to find and destroy her. Cameron has also called in the witch Rebecca to see if his cousin can be healed. Rebecca meets Jacob, Cameron’s PI and the sparks fly.
The writing is even better in this one, if that’s even possible. The action scenes are amazing. The characters leap out of the page. The interactions between the characters are witty and real. I can’t wait until I start the next book! Ava has done an amazing job!!

I'm sooo in Love with this series, it has left me begging for more! This is book 2 in the series and such a thrilling read. The author has done a fantastic job it is so well written and constructed I had no trouble imagining all the character's in this exciting paranormal world. The storyline is fast moving, enticing and really captured my attention, I didn't want the book to end. I absolutely love the character's in this book, we have strong, sassy females and alot of HOTT, protective males. I love the chemistry between the character's, I could feel the love, friendship and closeness just rolling of the pages. My favourite Character has to be Stracey, I love that she's a strong, sassy woman who won't let anyone mess her around and I was so glad I got to read alot more about her in this book and loved how her character developed. We have alot of action, excitement, love and some HOTT steamy moments, it is very well balanced with just the right amount of each element. I am so excited and looking forward to book 3, and will be reading it as soon as it's released. I highly recommend this book to ALL readers of Paranormal. You will not be disappointed!! I rate this book 5 stars *****

I love this series!. It is so amazing that I want more! lol .The story line is fantastic!. Christity was almost killed by her insane brother. Cam rescued her now he just wants her to wake up he has not left her side sense he brought her to his home. Cam refuses to leave her side even for his business and his Alpha duties. Jinx gets a hold of Stracey Cam's personal Business Assistant to come straighten him out. Stracey will not back down from Cam as she is not a wolf so he can not control her!. Stracey storms in and gets Cam to straighten up and on the Ball. Cam does not give up on Christity he pushes till he can bring her out of her head. Even though Christity is back things are not Roses as Christity lets Cam know her nephew is still out there and he is more insane then her brother was!. Now they must find her nephew before he causes more trouble. Not only this but love is in the air as most of Cams friends are finding their mates. This series is so thrilling as you follow Cam and his friends lives. In this book you will find spine-tingling suspense and heart stopping Romance!. This is a must read book and series!.

Another great book by A.K. Michaels! This story follows the first one almost seamlessly. I have to admit this is the first time Ive read a series where the main characters' story is the one that continues on while the sub characters stories are concluded. Cam is a "forced" Alpha after coming to assist his uncles pack in the US. Unfortunately in Book 1 his uncle it murdered, leaving the pack unprotected. In this book it continues Cams story as pack leader, and his reluctance to maintain this position. He does begin to realize there are some things in life beyond money and power. There are several sub heroes in this book that we met in the first book. Their lives fall into place as each realizes there is more in the US packs than meets the eye. Rory and Jinx find happiness that will mean choosing between home and the new pack. Becca def finds someone that may ruffle her witchy self to the core. And then theres Chastity... Cams White Wolf. Will she ever beat her demons and return to the land of the living? Or will she stay as the day he found her?

Wow! What a sequel. After The Reluctant Alpha I was sure I'd enjoy this novel. I didn't enjoy it, I loved it.
I did find (because the cast was so large in Book #1) I struggled to remember which character was which, but they all soon fell into place. Purely because, as people, they're easy to differentiate even though I got their names/nick names mixed up sometimes.
The action in The Alpha Decides was even better than the first book, which I absolutely loved. The romance/sex/action was full of angst in equal measure and the plot flowed and kept me gripped from beginning to end. At no point did I feel the flow of the book slowed or lulled, it was a 100mph joy ride.
I'm looking forward to the new bloodlines in Book #3.

Now, in the last book you got a glimpse of The emerging alpha. What he could be. With the many different stories also going on in the back ground.
Now, with this book you get a deeper in depth look at those same stories. With no less intense action, love and what could be IF he takes on this pack. Not only is he getting his uncles pack but also the neighboring one if he plays his cards right.
But the truth is he never wants to be alpha... Now you will not be disappointed with this book anymore then the one before it. But you will have to purchase the first to know what happens in this one and to follow the story line. BUT it is WELL worth the price!!!

Well we start off where book 1 ended and Chastity is still unconscious and unresponsive to anybody or anything and Cam has is refused to leave her side.
The story this time concerns Chastity and Cam's relationship, will she survive this strange power that is holding her, and what hold does she have on Cam, what will he do, and will he stay with her and as the clans alpha? There's also plenty of thrills as they hunt for the sick murderer who has been terrorizing the clan so Cam has plenty of chances to show his strength as the alpha he can be.
And there's some really steamy love scene's that heat the pages, and there's love in the air as several couples find their mates.
The story is a page turner and I loved it, it is well written with interesting characters and an exciting story line. The Highland Wolf Clan series is going to be an excellent series and I can't wait for book 3. 5/5

I really love this series. The characters are all fantastic and there’s not one that I don’t like. You never get bored as there is so much going on with so many characters in one book. Cam just so amazing to read about. He’s becoming accepting of his role as the new Alpha now but Chasity, the white wolf he saved in book one is still a complication to him. He denies his feelings for her and tries to keep his distance at the reluctance of his wolf. The pack that Cam saved is under threat again when Cam finds out about Mallory. He is Chasity’s nephew and a mean, evil wolf that is out for revenge for his father, the previous Alpha of the pack.
It’s so action packed and I read quite quickly because I had to find out what happens. So happy to hear there is a book 3! Yay! So looking forward to read it and reading more about this amazing pack and crew.

Love Alpha Wolf's....
I've read some of A K Michaels books and have to say I've given each of them 5 star's (cause that's all you can give) I didn't think they could get better but she's made a believer outta me! This book was better than the first one and that one was awesome! The characters were so lovable (except for one). The author brought you up to date with the story from book 1 ...then she took you on a ride that took my breath away! Thing's happened that I never saw coming. I'm so glad I read this series and can't wait for the next book, there are thing's that I need answered and know there wasn't "room" in this story to bring them to light. I have to say if you want a great ride read Highland Wolf Clan.. start with book 1 then you'll be ready for this one book 2. Thanks A K Michaels.

I was gifted a copy of this book in return for an honest review. And honestly I loved it.
Chastity is still in a coma two weeks after her brother nearly beat her to death and Cam hasn't moved from her beside. Stracey intervenes and gets him back on track to being an alpha and looking after himself, his business and his clan. There seems to be something magical in the air when he rejoins the clan as there are people falling in love left right and centre.
I gave this book five stars. I wanted to reach into the book and hit Cam a couple of times to get him to pull his head out and realise what he's missing out on. Otherwise the story is full of feeling, action and of course love. Once you start it you won't be able to put it down the world created is so addictive. Can't wait for the third book to see what else happens to the clan and its residents.

Part two, better than the first, if that is even possible. so now he is an Alpha, but not quite got his mate, at least not yet. She is trapped in a nightmare of her own making, will she find the way out? What do you think? If you read it, you will find out. This book was better than the first, and that was so damn good. The story draws you in and keeps you hanging, waiting to see what happens next. I was very lucky to have this as an ARC, when the book was released I bought it. Its so good, it leaves you on the edge of your seat, you want to reach the end to see what happens, but you don't want to finish it as the wait for the next one would be long. A K Michaels is a good writer, her imagination flows, drawing you in as though you are there in the room with them, in the book. Cannot wait for the next instalment which I know is better than the last. Love the books A************

This is the second book in the Highland Wolf Clan series and I have been waiting for this book since the moment I finished book 1. I have been on the waiting impatiently to find out if Cam and his 'white wolf' girl will truly get together or if she will have been lost at the end of the battle. I enjoyed watching things heat up between several of the other wolves in the pack and can't wait to see how all the relationships work out. So far I have loved every book I have read by A.K. Michaels and can't wait for whatever she releases next! If you are looking for a great shifter book look no further....and if you are looking for a great author with addictive, affordable books you will be missing the next great paranormal author by passing up any of A.K. Michaels books!!

I was given a complimentary copy for an honest review by author AK Michaels. This is book 2 of the Highland Wolf Clan books.
Cam is a wreck since everything went down and some new developments make things worse for the new alpha and his pack. Love is blooming and with that comes the mating ceremony which is preformed by the alpha.
The author wrote some very good characters in this story and I was hooked from the beginning of it. The story line flow was smooth as silk from start to finish and a pleasure to read. I can't wait to read the next book in the series.
This book is for any paranormal romance book lover. This book starts where book 1 leaves off so it is best to read in order.

Spell binding absolutely wonderful!
This book is the next part in Cam and Chastity story. As Chastity wakes from her coma the Highland pack learns of another deadly threat out there waiting and watching. Cam is now temporary Alpha and Chastity is his mate, or she should be but Cam doesn't know about things. She make him feel things he's never felt before and he doesn't no how to deal with this. Can Cam keep everyone safe while trying to find himself. Can Cam save Chastity or will he lose her forever find out in this book. Once again A.K MICHAELS KEEPS us on the edge of our seats. Absolutely wonderful spellbinding book.
