The cover has a beautiful mountain lion and more! I love it!
This is a story of 2 mountain climbers who are soul mates. The mountain climbing adds a new element of danger and conflict to bring the action in this story. The rescues and romance were awesome.
Zoe Chant brings a unique story in each book. I love the variety she gives me, and she always ends with a happy ending that makes me happy. Her books always leave me happy and never disappointed.
Any shifter readers who loves HEAs will find a great story here! I can’t wait to see what is next!

While I can frankly say that I will enjoy any story that Zoe Chant delivers, Mountain Rescue Lion is uncharted territory for me. It was not only an amazing romance but a fascinating look into a world that many people love with a passion – mountain climbing… the ones covered in snow and ice. I barely make it through a Pennsylvania winter without breaking something on a fall involving snow or ice, so I’m impressed with people who are so passionate about the challenges this sport offers, let alone co-ordinate a rescue in less than ideal conditions.
Cora and Eric make a unique team, even though they’ve just met the attraction is strong. While on a climb a storm hits that keeps them on the mountain overnight. Upon their return to one of the camps on the mountain they discover that another climbing party has encountered trouble – and left someone on the mountain. The decision to go to this young man’s rescue is easy to make but life threatening to pull off. Eric and Cora will not only face extreme dangers, they will also discover even more ties that will bind them.
Working together to save a life, and their own lives as well puts an intensity on this situation that is strongly described – you’ll feel like you’re on the mountain with Cora and Eric. This was a fascinating adventure, as well as a touching and sexy love story. I’d recommend Mountain Rescue Lion to any Paranormal Romance or Shifter Romance reader who love a solid story, adventuring in to perhaps unknown territory and a great couple you’ll be cheering for.

Cora, a Mountain climbing guide who had bad luck with climbing partners and an even worse one with love partners. She was looking for a reliable partner but it seems that too was hard to find. So she dedicated herself to doing what she loved...Climbing Mountains.
Ranger and Mountain Lion Shifter Eric Peterson loved his job but it kept him isolated so there wasn't a lot of chances for him to find his mate. He had all but giving up finding his one true love until he met the beautiful, smart and outgoing Cora .
Eric and Cora were attracted to each other, they found themselves trapped by a snow storm. And decided to give into their attraction.
After making it back to the rest of the group, they soon realized that they weren't the only ones that were trapped by the storm. When two instead of three hikers returned, Cora knew that Andrew was in trouble.

Cora and Eric's story starts out high in the Himalayan Mountains and it's a doozy !! She's a climbing guide, he's a mountain lion shifter out showing his nephew the wonders of ice climbing. Sparks fly after just one look, but it's not until another climber is left for dead by an unscrupulous other guide after an avalanche, that Cora and Eric find out how compatible they are as they climb the mountain in horrid conditions to save the young man left behind. Lots of action ( the mountain climbing kind), lots of passion and heated sex, but the question in Cora's mind after spending time together in the States is "will Eric expect her to quit her job and become the "little stay at home woman"?. Read the book to find out if they both get what they want !! 5⭐'s for lots of action , great characters and a new story, told very, very well. I received a gifted copy of the book and am voluntarily choosing to leave an honest and unbiased review.

Cora Parker is definitely an outdoor woman, she's a mountain climber and loves doing dangerous climbs. She's also a guide taking groups up mountains. Unfortunately, she's had bad luck with climbing partners and men. Eric Peterson is a cougar shifter who loves his job as a park ranger in Colorado but he also loves mountain climbing and often takes trips to climb. He's given up on finding his mate and is partially afraid that even if he does that she won't like the outdoors. On his most recent climbing trip he meets Cora. They wind up having to take shelter in a cave overnight due to a severe storm. Then, the two of them have to rescue a hiker who was left behind by another group.
This was a great book. I love cougar shifters and soulmates so this was a double win! Zoe Chant does shifter romance very well. Full of action, intrigue, and romance, this book kept me entranced from beginning to end. I highly recommend it.

Another fast paced book from this author. I received an ARC with no obligation to post my honest review.
Zoe Chant knows how to create a swoon worthy alpha and Eric was no exception, he is pretty much perfect in every way!!!
Cora hasn't had much luck with partners, romantically or climbing, until Eric who I was happy to see didn't force Cora to give up her career but joined her instead, it was a nice change.
I found the introduction to the world of mountain climbing to be really well developed for such a short story, really great world building that I enjoyed very much.
I felt it was a little light on the repercussions of the main plot drama/incident but otherwise a really enjoyable quick story.

Zoe Chant ventures into the dangerous world of mountain climbing as she pairs mountain lion Shifter Eric with the sassy, independent climbing guide Cora in the beautifully treacherous Himalayas. They combine all of their skills in a daring rescue mission that can only be successful if they trust each other and work together. And if their hearts get tangled together on the way? Is that another risk they'll both be willing to take? A very exciting, passionate and romantic story awaits the reader and I found myself on the edge of my seat more than once. A must read for anyone who loves adventure + paranormal romance.

Cora thought that in order to find her happy ever after she would have to give up her one true love. Eric figured there wasn't a mate for him who could handle the outdoors as much as he liked. One mountain peak brings them together. Will Eric and Cora be able to work together when they are needed for a rescue? Will Eric and Cora be able to find a common ground when it comes to doing what they love?
Loved Mountain Rescue Lion by Zoe Chant! I thought that both main characters worked together flawlessly and proved to be an excellent team. I have to admit that I would have loved to find out if anything came of the uncle and tour guide after the nephew was rescued. Great book!

Cora was not luck at love of finding a good Climbing partner.
She decided to stick with was she knows and love, climbing mountains.
Eric had almost given up in finding his mate.
When he meets Cora, he knows he found his mate.
When a hiker goes missing, they work together to rescue the hiker.
I loved the interaction between Eric and Cora.
It did not hurt that they were trapped together by a snow storm.
This was a very charming story.
I loved the storytelling.

This is a story set in Kalyanpur, Nepal. Cora is a mountain climber and guide. she is on a climb with her partner on the Veil. She mets Eric Peterson who is a Ranger and mountain lion shifter. He and his nephew are also climbing the Veil. While on the climb they are called upon to rescue three climbers lost on the mountain. Will they be able to the young man left behind on the mountain? Will he have survived the storm and freezing cold?

A good partner is priceless
This story had some wonderful visuals. I felt like I was thinking along with Cora and Eric. I also really liked the fact that they found someone who was so perfect for each other. In fact, it really showed when Cora jumped off the opposite side of the chasm to make sure Eric survived. These two characters left me feeling so good after reading their story. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book, and I borrowed it through the Kindle Unlimited program too.

Sweet shifter romance for two perfect mates
I enjoyed learning about climbing and first aid. Eric is such a good match for Cora. They work well together. This is a sweet story, but with lots of exciting parts. The pace for most of it is lively and the tone is positive. The storyline is character oriented with some action and steamy scenes. The characters are vivid and endearing. This is a fun story and a good introduction to Zoe Chant, if you haven't read her work before. There are lots more if you like this one! Enjoy!

Wonderfully written and intense rescue romance!
Zoe Chant knows how to get the blood pumping with her shifter stories. One intense search and rescue, one amazing mountain lion shifter and one brilliant, fearless human woman and you have the makings for a roller coaster of a ride. Add two condescending jerks and you have the perfect mixture for a fun, frustrating and breathless good time!

Mountain Rescue Lion is another standalone book regarding Big Cats by Zoe Chant. Literally a cliffhanger of a story which leads the rescue lion to his climbing mate. They climb mountains and help with rescues, not happy on some parts of the story line but unfortunately it’s what some people are like. What were the odds they would meet in NEPAL? Apparently very good...timing is everything!
Fun story with excitement, suspense, blizzards, and avalanches, not to mention harrowing rescues!

Wow, what an action-packed story! I have never used climbing gear to get up or down a mountain, but this story gripped me from the very beginning and I really felt that I could visualize the entire journey. I loved the way Eric and Cora seemed to be able to anticipate what the other needed, almost from the beginning of the book. I enjoyed this one very much.

This book is a thrill ride.
Mountain climbing and mountain rescues in a great love story...I will say it
Is one of my favorite stories so far, although I have found Zoe Chant books
to be great, no matter what the theme.
But mountain climbing? Wow. I would l Iove to read more like this.

So-so
There was a lot of attention to detail so far as scene setting but there were areas of the story line that were left lacking. Also, maybe it's just me but give me "Paradise" any day instead of "romance" in an ice cave in the Himalayas

Magnificent
Thrilling, mind boggling, action non stop. A great read. I can't recommend it to highly. A truly outstanding read. A bit of romance but not interfering with the sheer drama. One check of a story.
