Avalanche Injection: A Slater and Redeye Novel

Rate this book
Edgar Dunbar has transcended physical reality by having his brain dumped into a pseudo-online existence by Avalanche Injection. Two Data Mercenaries, tech-savvy soldiers who destroy computer systems for a living, stumble onto Dunbar’s plot to use his new technological existence to alter physical reality. They reluctantly team up with the government agency that has pursued them in the past, as well as a mystic programmer, a young nomad girl, an intelligent rogue computer program, and others to defeat Dunbar’s plan to manipulate the overlap between his online existence, and physical reality. If they fail, the existence of reality will be in the hands of a madman.

This is the first novel of Data Mercenaries Slater and Redeye, who have previously appeared in the novella, “God Box”, published by Padwolf Press, and numerous short stories, including “Interrupt Vector” which appeared in volume XVII of Writers of the Future.
