Marta

by Frank Carey

In the fight to save her family, her greatest enemy may be herself. Marta McMurphy is an Elf Marine Expeditionary Force General, a wife, mother, and grandmother. She’s also a tenacious fighter with a tendency to get herself into deep, deep trouble. Marta has just started her retirement from the EMEF when two of her children find themselves entered in a robot fighting championship without a driver! Instead of a quiet retirement, she finds herself neck-deep in political intrigue and a brewing invasion by unknown alien forces, nothing she can’t handle! Marta is the eleventh book in a series of epic sci-fi space operas. If you like tech-heavy sci-fi, relatable characters, and stories of family and redemption, you’ll love Frank Carey’s Heroes of the League series.
