The recipes look great, however, the nutritional information is woefully incomplete. The author noted grams of carbohydrates in each serving. That's it. If that's all you need to track, then the book is a nice addition for your collection. If, like me, you need to stay within more precise parameters, then you might want to choose a different book, or just resign yourself to entering everything by hand into a recipe calculator before you cook.
The few recipes that I have tried so far were easy to make, tasted good and made me feel good that I wasn’t eating as many carbs as I usually do – some of the recipes were too difficult to try and follow and some just had ingredients my house doesn’t carry. The author did include pictures of the finished product which helped make them seem more accessible!
