If I asked you to tell me the first 3 words that cross your mind related to a famous footballer, what would they be? I think 99% of the answers will be : money, fun, and women. All this is 100% right, and it's exactly Jacob Lawson does. But being a footballer means more than that. Cause you are always hunted by the press & tabloids, and any mistake could be the end of your career. This is what this story's about. And that's its great deal. It try to show the other side of being a football celebrity. And it makes a great job. It will show u what's behind of it, how it really depends and affect what we see from outside. It brings out all the unknown stuff. And when the story involves also your hot PR manager, it looks better and better isn't it? Kira's goal is get Jacob on the good spotlight again. But there is a huge problem.....their relationship is far from exclusively professional....In this case mixing profession with passion could be a risk for both of them a huge risk....but you know what they say, if you don't risk, you don't get what you want....and Kira wants Jacob as much as he wants her....so there must be a solution to all of their issues right?

This book was okay. I didn't feel the chemistry and romance for these charcters that apparently other reviewers did. I usually love Eva and Juliana's books but this one just didn't do it for me.

This was an ok read, I have to say that I thought that it would be the heroine Kina who would want to try a relationship more than the hero, but that wasn't the case she just wanted no strings. And you really couldn't say that he was her brothers bestfriend because they hadn't spoken for years. However, it still was a forbidden love due to the fact that Kina was his PR agent..

Don’t stand so close by Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners a sublime five-star read. This is the third or fourth book by this pair I have read and each get hotter and hotter. Mmmm big brother’s best friends are a touchy subject with me and this made it so much sweeter for me. If you are after a hot read with drama a plenty and some of the sauciest sex imaginable you will love this read.

Jacob was out to get laid and the guys from the Florida Sharks except Hanson and Brian. Jacob was trying to get to know them but he held part of himself back. Jacob sees this women at the club and the closer he got he realized it was his ex friends sister. She grew up looking hot and he asks her to meet him in the men’s room. Afterward she told him to leave like dismissing him. He was surprised how he felt afterward he remembered her being gawky and she grew up a strong woman.
Kina worked at a PR firm and her first celebrity client was Jacob. She called him and they made an appointment Kina then told him what she expected him to do. While talking to him a video comes in from some blogger saying she slept with him and showed his autograph. Kina tells him things like this could do more damage. Kina and Jacob have a working dinner and getting to know each other. The more Kina saw him the more she knew she would have to be professional. Kina and Jacob were making the tabloids so they had to try and make it looked like they were talking about charities. Then they had their picture taken as Jacob leaves Kina’s room. Things had been up in the air considering she was fighting with her twin brother who was living with her. Kyle and Jacob had history that broke them apart and Kyle blamed everything Jacob for him not going pro. Things were out of sorts because things were getting crazy and Jacob and Kina were confused. She invites her brother back home and invites Jacob come to dinner. Kyle needed to air his hostility towards Jacob. They aired their grievances when Kyle realized it was always his fault he knew even if Jacob didn’t get into the pros he would never had made it himself. Twists, Turns, misunderstanding makes this a thrilling book

I received an ARC copy of this book from the authors.
We're back with the Miami Sharks players. This time we get Jacob and Kina's story.
Jacob is another football player he was traded to Miami after he got into a fight with a player of another team over his girlfriend, whom cheated on him with the other player.
The other players on his new team are giving him a hard time except for team mates Brian and Hansen whom also each have their own books.

Jacob is coping by having meaningless sex with women. He does not want another relationship. His past one almost caused him to lose his career. Kina is a PR rep with Lacey whom is Hanson's wife from the first book in this series. She is busy taking care of her twin brother and establishing her career. One night at a bar she has a one night stand with Jacob whom she knew from the past he was her twin brothers ex friend. Her brother did not make it to the league so he hated Jacob for making it.

Kina knew it could only be one night considering the circumstances, but why does she want more and she can't stop thinking about this one man. Jacob is also feeling the same way. When Kina finally gets a star client she is surprised when it is Jacob her one night stand. What to do the only way is keep it professional right. I really enjoyed the third book in this series I can not wait to see what is next with this series.

This was another must read for me I adored the characters and loved seeing some characters from past books. I give this story five stars and is another must read for me.

I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book. I must say I am enjoying the books Ms Luxe and Ms Coners are writing currently. This is another story about Jacob a new player on the Sharks team and Kina a woman we first met in Don't Say A Word. The first book about the men of the Miami Sharks and the women they love. Kina is the bestie of Lacey. Lacey and Hudson were the main characters of the book. The second book, Don't Forget About Me features Brian and Sadie's story. The two men are on the same team as Jacob and befriend him. Kina works as a PR manager and has been brought in to clean up Jacob's image. The two know each other from when they were in high school. Kina's twin Kyle use to be best friends with Jacob but had a falling out. Kina has always had a crush on Jacob. The two have an instant connection and though they both are drawn to one another they both feel they need to keep it professional so as not to create more scandal. The problem is they can not stay away from one another. This was such and sexy and naughty story filled with hot and steamy scenes. It was well written and I really enjoyed reading it. I loved how they were able to clean up Jacobs image and get an HEA of their own.

Here is another great story by Eva and Juliana about the Miami Sharks players! This book is all about Jacob and Kina. Jacob has had some trouble in the last year and is traded to the SHARKS where he grew up. He’s hoping his past will fade away and he can become the player he knows he can be. The adjustment to the new team has been harder then expected as some of the players are trying to make matters worse for him. Hanson and Brian have had some of their own trouble in the past and are helping Jacob by standing by him. Jacob believes he is only able to have one night sex with women due to his past and hurts. Along comes Kina a woman from his past, his ex best friends twin. Lets say they hit it off with some hot and heavy attraction and try to walk away after. Karma comes back at them as Kina becomes Jacob’s PR rep. They can not stop being with one another and get by saying it’s only sex. Things get a bit complicated all around. How will Jacob come to terms with the fight for his career and to get Kina to see his true feelings for her? Can Kina allow herself a chance at love knowing how it will hurt her brother and career? Each of these characters from this story and their own are just a great group to read about. I voluntarily received an Advanced Reader Copy of this book.

Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners have penned another fabulous sport's story here with Jacob and Kina's HEA. Jacob is a good guy really but was on suspension for a season because he beat up a team mate who had had sex with his now ex girlfriend. To boost his image he is assigned a PR in the form of Kina, his one night stand form the night before and his ex-best friend's little sister. He hadn't recognised her as the last time he'd seen her was in pony tails. They are just so good together and the chemistry between them sparkles so much I wondered when or if my kindle would be set alight. Eva and Juliana never fail to pen a superb storyline that is just that little bit different form similar stories with absolutely terrific characters. It was interesting to "hear" Jacob thinking and then "listening" to what he actually says to Kina. With their combustible background they are going to have some obstacles in their way to their HEA but it certainly is going to be so worth it. This is one of those books that I knew that I would be re-reading so I bought it. Grab this quick as the bonus books are brilliant too! I received an arc of this book and voluntarily leave my honest review of it here.
DEFINITELY RECOMMENDED.

Love at the football field! Sexy escapades, hot man and a stubborn woman. Not too long, not too short, simply right length. Great reading!

Jason has been traded to the Miami Sharks after a year out of the field for bad conduct. He do not do love anymore, love almost ended his career. His ex cheated and he end up knowing about because he was charge with assault defending her honor when a player of another team told him she has been with him. Now he is all about having fun and football, but is not that easy being the new kid on the team.

Kina have too much on her plate to be dating. She has her brother that is always in trouble and her career. Thanks to her dedication she has her first famous person to represent as his PR manager. What she did not know at the moment that it was the same man she hook up at a bar bathroom the weekend before and her brother ex best friend and now enemy.

They cannot keep their hands to each other and that's becoming a problem. Nobody can know about them or their careers can suffer and they are just having a little fun, nothing serious. Right?

I really enjoyed this book. Jacob plays professional football, and Kina is his new PR person. When a football player is usually assigned a PR person to clean up their image, they are usually real players with the women, and into partying and drugs. This is not the case with Jacob, which I liked. He had beaten up a teammate at a game that had said something to him about sleeping with his girlfriend, which unfortunately, was true. Now, his PR person, Kina, is the twin sister of his ex best friend, and the lady he had sex with at a bar the night before. This certainly leads to an interesting story, that the authors did an excellent job with. First, it certainly has some very hot, steamy parts, but it is also a wonderful story that is so much more than just that. It is a book that can be read as a standalone whuch I recommend, but I also recommend reading the whole series, for your own enjoyment. I voluntarily reviewed this advance copy.

This author duo has created another great read for us! Dont Stand So Close is connected with "Dont Say A Word" and "Dont Forget About Me". However, you can read each book as standalones! I love that previous characters pop up in this one! So if you have read the two previous books..it makes for a better reading experience!
Jacob is a football star who has made a bad name for himself in the public eye. When he needs a PR manager..he realizes she was his one night stand just a few days prior!
Kina hasn't has much of a love life..and when she decides to do something crazy (one night stand) she doesn't realize just how complicated things are going to get!
I loved watching their love story unfold and these authors told this story very well!

This was one fantastic book the characters were fun,sexy and hot. We have Kina who's job is to help clean up peoples images, when they get into some really interesting situations. Kina decides to go out one evening and her friend talks her into trying to have a one night stand when she spots her long ago crush her brothers bast friend Jacob sitting in the bar she makes up her mind to have one night with him. Jacob is surprised when he see his long ago friends little sister well not so little anymore she is a gorgeous woman now and boy does he feel a spark there.
When these two see each other after there one night its at Kina's PR firm, her firm has just been hired to help clean up Jacob's image. Things start to really heat up between the two of them. This was another terrific story from Eva Luxe. I absolutely loved this book and highly recommend it.

This book follows after Don't Forget About Me and is about a new player to the team, Jacob. Like the previous books, Jacob has some media issues and that is where Kina comes into play. These two have some serious chemistry and it doesn't hurt that she has had a crush on him for a long time! Though they fight the dreaded R word for as long as they can, eventually, they both succumb. Love truly is a beautiful thing. Great read!! I voluntarily reviewed an advanced copy of this book.

A perfect addition to the series

First there were Hanson and Lacey, then Brian and Sadie, and now Jacob and Kina. This book was a romance and a sexy love story. Relationships are never easy to start with and when you have the media and the public and an idiot team member and a twin who is still in the past, the relationship will be even harder work. But Jacob is persuasive and because Kina has friends who tell her how it is meant to be, they come together for the sexy, kinky, steamy moments and they work through the hassles. Great story - loved every word. I was privileged to have an ARC and I have honestly and willingly reviewed this here. If there is anyone else on the team that Eva and Juliana believe deserve a book - count me to buy it!

I enjoyed this book about Kina & Jacob. Jacob used to be friends with Kina's brother Kyle but the boys fell out when Jacob was scouted & Kyle wasn't. When Jacob got traded back to the Florida Sharks, Kina & Jacob met up by accident in a bar. They hit if off and couldn't keep their hands off each other. Kina is hired as Jacob's PR manager things were awkward between them as they wouldn't admit their feelings for each other. They have to come up with a plan that will make his image better and when they do finally admit their feelings, Kina has the perfect plan. The characters have great sexually chemistry and an even deeper love for each other.

This is the third book in a series revolving around the men of the Florida Sharks pro football team. It was a good follow up to the first two. We met Kina in the first book, Don't Say a Word. Jacob is new to the team after being transferred back to his hometown team. She's a PR consultant. His team wants to clean up his public image after a big scandal last year. She's his ex best friend's sister. Guess who gets assigned to change public opinion about him? Yep, that's right, it's Kina. Will she be able to do her job or will their growing attraction just get him (and her) into more trouble? I recommend reading this, as well as the first two books.

This is a sweet sports romance about Jacob and Kina. Kina has always had a crush on her brother Kyle's best friend, Jacob. Kyle and Jacob no longer talk to each other because Jacob had been scouted and Kyle hadn't. Jacob is a football player on the Miami Sharks and Kina has becomes his PR Manager. These two have great chemistry and they can't seem to keep their hands off each other Can they find a way to make his image better and get their HEA at the same time. I really like this Sports Romance Series and how we get to know each of the players as a person not just a player. A great story line and great characters make this a must read. I voluntarily read and reviewed an ARC of this book...

This was a great read despite the characters being childish trying to handle adult problems. The plot was the norm - it's a kind of been there and done that type of plot. The situation was a little different. The characters were developed; however, more thought should have been given to them considering they are adults. Kyle was the biggest child of all. You didn't make it, Kyle, so grow up. I'm glad he did towards the end. The chemistry between Jacob and Kina was off the charts hot! I can't wait to go back and read the first two books in this series.

Sports romance at its best

Jacob needed to fix his image as an angry football player with assault charges pending. When Kina becomes his PR manager, the sparks that started with bar sex explode into a relationship that they try to keep just physical. But when pictures of them surface, will Jacob ruin not only his image but her career too? With great characters and a storyline that keeps the reader's interest this it a book that should not be missed.

I received this book for a voluntary, completely honest and non incentivized review. I'll admit that the story itself was decent but there were some details that "turned me off" from liking the characters. I love an alpha man as much as the next gal (or guy) but Jacob sort of came of more of a douche. In the end, he made up for it. Kina is a terrible PR rep. Why does your client save your behind? Their chemistry, however, was hot but not enough to get my rate up.

I loved this story. I've come to expect a great read from these two ladies and this was no exception. It's full of steamy hot scenes that will leave you cooling yourself off. The chemistry is off the charts and the plot is well written. The banter is great, the drama is excellent and keeps you engrossed without being too over the top, the love and romance is great, and the HEA is definitely sweet. I highly recommend! A very well written and fantastic read. This story has it all; drama, action, humor, chemistry, hot scenes, twists and emotional suspense.
It is a sports romance where the main characters has to let loose and let the past be where it belongs. They are both attracted to each other but they are afraid of letting go and then there are the issues with Jacob and his team. I can only recommend this story. It is worth the read.

I'm loving the teaming up of Eva Luxe and Juliana Conners! This book was fun to read. I love a best friend's sister romance, and Jacob and Kina's story was engaging. They hadn't seen each other in a long time, but they still were able to recognize each other, and now they are feeling things they hadn't really felt before. This was a steamy read, with good plot twists as they tried to avoid scandal, and a wonderful HEA!

Steamy and dreamy.

This story of Jacob and Kina builds on the base set by the preceding stories, but could also stand alone as a steamy romance in its own right.
Its always great when more than one HEA occurs in a story, and it was great to see that happen here. Not only did Jacob woo Kina, but Kyle was able to sort himself out too... so this was sort of like a two for one deal.
A simple way to unwind. Read and enjoy.

Jacob is a professional football player with a lot of trouble going on in his life. His new team in Miami is hiring him a pr manager. But it turns out that the pr manager is Kina his ex best friends sister and the girl he has a one night stand with last night. The book was great. I love sports romances and I loved this one. it was exciting and sweet and romantic. I can highly recommend the book
