Sparrow's questions haunted him. If she really were innocent, he would have to live with the fact that he'd mistreated a girl who had done nothing but try to save him. -Jared

"Kiss me." She stopped moving all together and her eyes narrowed in on his mouth. "Give me a kiss and I'll sing like a bird."- Jared

Reckless River, the 3rd book in the Men of Mercy Series, was a surprisingly darker, but good read. I have to say there are some dark parts in the first 2 books, but this book took a walk on the darker side.

"I remember who you are now. You're the boy from my dreams. I....I thought you died. Miss Kay told everyone you and Hoyt were dead."- Sparrow

"You are mine. You will be my whore. You will do exactly as I say, when I say it."-Jared

What this book is about

When brothers Jared and Hoyt Crowe were little their parents died, and their aunt Mrs Kay abused and tried to kill them. The reason they are alive is because a little girl name Sparrow, with golden eyes, snuck in and set them free, saving them. Well Jared isn't a fearful little boy anymore, and he is hell bent on revenge. When Jared and Hoyt go home to get the revenge Jared needs, Hoyt is captured. Then while trying to save his brother Jared is also captured by none other than Sparrow. When Sparrow realizes who she has captured, she releases him, and vows to not only help him get his brother back, but to go with them. Jared and Sparrow are wildly attracted to each other, and want to start a life together, once they get Hoyt, and get back to safety. But that all changes when they find Hoyt hanging from the ceiling skinned alive and tortured near death. When Sparrow steps forward to help cut Hoyt down, he yells please don't let her cut me. Jared is seeing red now. He can't believe the woman he has dreamed about since she saved him, the woman he was going to try to start a life with, did this to his brother. Something Dark snaps inside Jared seeing his brother in so much pain, near death. He doesn't care if Sparrow swears she didn't do it. He ties, gags, and kidnaps her. She will pay for what she did to Hoyt. After some time Jared starts to question if this women who he wants so badly, who has helped him many times, could really hurt his brother this way. Will Jared find out the truth? And when he does will he find out the only woman he has ever cared for is evil, or will he be crushed with guilt over the way he treated Sparrow after he finds out she is innocent, and all she did was try to help him?

"Did you forget our little deal? You obey me without question." The girl didn't even falter "Yeah, I know. But it's awfully hard to obey you when you're acting like an idiot."-Sparrow and Jared

 photo Jaredand sparrow_zpscupbzjjy.jpg

"I know what you think I did.... Why did you save me? Why didn't you just leave me there?" "I honestly don't know." He pushed a stray strand of hair from her cheek, the feeling of his fingers sending delicious tingles along her jaw. "What do you know?" Her heart raced faster. "That I'm glad you're alive." Her breath hitched under the intensity of his stare. There was no hatred in his gaze this time. "I know I want to kiss you so bad it hurts."-Sparrow and Jared

I really liked Sparrow she was very spunky. She had a horrible life, but she didn't let it beat her down. She learned to fight. Sparrow had a tough side, but she had a soft, innocent side. Sparrow's mother was a whore, and a pill popper, so she, never wanting to be like her mom, has never even kissed a guy. She gives her first everything to Jared. My heart broke for her. She fell in love with Jared hard and fast. It was hard to read how one minute he was sweet, tender, and kind then next a total mistrusting ass. Jared was a complex character. He was damaged, broody, and dark. But Jared also had this sweet side, and this broken child like side that when he showed it made him vulnerable and endearing. Boy could he be an ass! Some of the things he did, and the way he treated Sparrow after finding his brother, wow hard to read, but at the same time I could kinda understand. Hoyt was so messed up, I think anyone would lose their mind to find the one they love like that.

"You think I trust you to come back? Do I look like an idiot?" Sparrow stumbled back, a huge ache burning in her chest. "What do you mean? Last night...." "Last night was just sex. Don't think that you can use your body to try and control me. I'm not that stupid." -Jared and Sparrow

 photo OnceUponaTimeS01E17HDTVXviD-AFG0336_zpsxiozf0vq.jpg

"You're driving me crazy." She stiffened. "I'm not trying to . All you have to do is release me. You'll never have to see me again." "Never." The thought of losing her now sent a wave of fear through him. She belonged with him. "You're mine."-Jared and Sparrow

One thing I really liked about Sparrow was that even though Jared didn't believe her. Even though he had her tied, gagged, and was treating her hostile, and harsh, she didn't just take it, or break down and cry. She raised her tied up hands and flipped him off. She gave him the slip a few times, and she fought him every step. Jared and Sparrow had a roller-coaster relationship. I loved that when Jared finally wised up, he apologizes. This book was all kinds of angsty drama. The only reason this book isn't five stars for me, is I wanted a little more of a HEA. They make up and that is it. The epilogue was about Hoyt, which is cool cause I can't flippin wait for Hoyt's book, but I would have liked to have seen a little into Jared and Sparrow's HEA. Maybe it's that way because the next book will pick up right where this one leaves off. What a deliciously angsty read. I hope Lindsay Cross writes a book for Merc too.

"Yes, I do. I need to show you that I believe you." He kissed her gently "That I cherish you." He kissed her again. "That I need you." This time he took her mouth deeply and Sparrow felt every nerve in her body respond. "I'm so sorry I didn't believe you. I was a fool. Please forgive me. Stay with me, let me spend the rest of my life making it up to you."-Jared

Review

Well, let's start off with showing you how I feel about this mind blowind read. Ready? OK, here we go:

description

Yes, that's exactly how I feel. This story has made me feel so many emotions, even some I didn't know I was capable to. It started out sexy as hell, went into super suspenseful, then made me angry and sad at the same time, only to end my misery with a good grovel and a HEA. In short, this book is pure perfection, at least to me.

The plot is as described in blurb and we thankfully get a dual POV for the most part. The ending is in Hoyt's POV, who is Jared's brother. That poor fella really didn't have it easy and after all that he's been through, I can't wait to see how he finds his HEA.

As for the other characters, I liked most of them. My favourite are of course Jared and Sparrow. They first met when they were children and Sparrow saved both, him and Hoyt, from being killed by the horrible woman, who then latter on 'raised' Sparrow. I was so glad by how she and her sons found their ending, served them right!

description

As for Jared and Sparrow, their journey to each other is so heartbreaking and at times I honestly didn't think they would make it.
Sparrow is a tough one and knows how to defend herself. She is also really smart, loyal, protective of the ones she loves, quick and knows how to make Jared's head spin without even trying.

"You're driving me crazy."
..."I'm not trying to. All you have to do is release me. You'll never have to see me again."
"Never." The thought of losing her now sent a wave of fear through him. She belonged with him. "You're mine."

Jared, on the other hand, is still haunted by his past demons and therefore carries a lot of anger and thirst for revenge. And after what happened to his brother, I felt like he was one step away from completely snapping, not that I could blame him. The one thing that made me at times really dislike him was how he treated Sparrow when he thought she was the one responsible to what happened to Hoyt. After he found out the truth, well, lets just say this says it all:

description

He does redeem himself to Sparrow and it was great to see his more softer and caring side of him.

Reckless River has it all. Action, suspense, betrayal, romance and so much more. An amazing read that is definitely worth your time! :)

First Lindsay Cross book I've read (won't be the last), so that means I haven't read the first two in this series (although I do have book 1 on my kindle somewhere). I really enjoyed it but Sparrow was just too nice. I was expecting a couple more rough edges since she was raised by hill people and nasty hill people at that. Jared was one hard ass especially about taking care of his brother, Hoyt. There was lots of action and hot bedroom scenes. Overall a good book.

Hoyt and Hayden's book is gonna be good.

The heroine is almost illiterate, his adopted mother is a ruthless mobster and the only other woman there is a whore. And He just prayed she didn´t work the way most women up here did-on her back, with her legs spread.
Disgusting.

We've seen the James brother finally claim their women, now it's time for the Crowe brothers.

Although I really did enjoy this story, and I really loved Sparrow this book just didn't do it for me. I actually did not like Jared really.

Jared and his brother Hoyt were abused and neglected by their aunt growing up. They would've died tied up in a room had it not been for a little golden eyed girl. Fast-forward 20+ years later and Jared and Hoyt are back home in Tennessee. But it's not for a family reunion. Jared is hell bet on extracting revenge on their aunt. However, when his brother is kidnapped his mission has changed, and he'll use the help of his golden eyed captor to rescue him.
So here's my first problem. You know how dangerous the mountain people can be. The boys also know from first hand experience how uncaring and ruthless their aunt can be. The way the author writes it almost makes it seem like Jared has to drag Hoyt back to their home town, just so he can get his revenge.

Growing up in the mountains, Sparrow knows what hard living is. But she's making her way up in the ranks and doing everything she can to please Miss Kay and avoid being put in the life of prostitution like her mother was. However, her plans to extract information from her captive backfires when she discovers who he really is and her feelings start meddling with her plans.

So as I mentioned above, I just really don't understand why Jared felt he needed to go back to the mountains to extract revenge. They had gotten away and moved on with their lives. Even if Jared hadn't he should've let his brother make his own decision about going back or not, and leave him be as the happy go lucky, carefree guy he was.
Also, this book really could've used the help of better editing. There were gaps between time that just didn't make sense.
The author couldn't seem to make up her mind if Jared's alias was Jake or Hank. Plus when Sparrow was talking with Squirrel, in her thoughts she referred to her captive as Jared, when the name he gave her was Jake.
Sparrow is probably one of my favorite female characters of this series so far. She's an independent woman, can defend herself, and makes Jared rely on all his military training when it comes to tracking her down. But I really hate when authors turn these kick ass chicks into whiny, wear my heart on my sleeve, women. It seemed after she and Jared had sex she forgot all about protecting herself, even after he called her his whore, and still acted hurt when he admitted that he basically used her body for sex.
There was one big thing that really just annoyed me about Jared and the way he acted and treated Sparrow. I understand he doesn't really know the woman she grew into. He doesn't really know for sure if she can be trusted or if she's not in with Miss Kay. HOWEVER, in the military you are always trained to go with your gut instinct. No matter what. (Yes, trust me I know! I live the life of a military spouse and have for 8 and half years.) So after rescuing his brother he should've known he would be delirious, especially with infection already settling in. So when he points out "don't let her hurt me" I hate that he automatically assumed it was Sparrow. There are any number of women on the mountain who could've hurt him just as much. Even when his gut was screaming at him that it couldn't have been Sparrow he still denies it and blames her. And again Sparrow just kind of goes along and forgives him. What happened to the strong independent kick ass woman?!?

Jared Crowe is out for a personal vendetta. He is back looking into his aunt Kathryn Crowe who tried to kill Jared and his brother Hoyt when they were children and he has never forgotten. They were rescued by a young girl whom he will never forget.

Now Jared is back and out for revenge when his brother has gone missing. Then as Jared is looking for Hoyt he is captured by Sparrow Pickney, the girl who saved him as a boy. But now that they are adults there is more on the line for both of them and more lives are in danger. Jared must decide if he can trust Sparrow but when it looks like he is led into a trap rescuing Hoyt, Sparrow is looking guilty.

Jared's trust keeps wavering back and forth with Sparrow but when it comes down to a deadly situation he must decide if what he feels towards Sparrow is true.

I thought this was a great book and I am loving this series! This book was somewhat deeper as it deals with a difficult past and many trust issues for everyone involved. I really enjoyed both of the characters of Jared and Sparrow and completely understand why each had walls around them and fears of being hurt.

I didn't see part of the end coming which was awesome! Although the very end of the book left me with so much heartache for Hoyt. I am really looking forward to the next book in the series!!

Jared never understood why his aunt wanted him and his brother dead after their parents died. as an adult he decides to return to his childhood home to get answers and also get revenge – doing so led to a great deal of trouble for him, his brother and Sparrow, the woman who as a child saved them.

Sparrow is a tiny but very strong woman when they meet again and she seems to fall for Jared VERY quickly. At times I felt what happened between the two of them was rather unbelievable BUT it is after all a romance novel and not a true story so liberties can be taken. There are issues of trust and communication that need to dealt with before the two can have a happily ever after. There was quite a bit of time both were tied up in knots…literally…some dastardly doings by others, action aplenty and a glimpse at some of the other men who will no doubt have stories of their own.

Thank you to NetGalley for the copy of this book to read and review.

Jared Crowe along with his brother Hoyt are near Crowe Mountain for their annual trek to pay their respect to their parents. Jared wants revenge against his Aunt Kay for what she's done to Jared and Hoyt. When Hoyt didn't return as planned Jared knows that something is not right and determined to find out the truth. Jared has always been haunted by golden eyes that belonged to Sparrow Pickney. Sparrow takes Jared hostage her ordered world is tossed on it's ear and thensome. Sparrow knew that this man is completely dangerous and needed to proceed with caution. Can Sparrow stop the feelings that Jared sends her way? Can Jared find Hoyt? Find out in Reckless River.

This third installment builds on the previous two which is something I love about series. The characters and story are beautifully crafted and witty too. This series gets better and hotter. I can't wait for the next book in the series.

NOT OKAY

Not sure what the author was thinking when she wrote this book. It's the 3rd I've read and I liked the first 2 books. Jared, the "hero", verbally and sexually assaulting Sparrow is not ok to write about. I would even classify him as a rapist considering you cannot give consent while being held prisoner. With Sparrow being as naive about almost everything it makes it worse. He tied her to a bed spread eagle and left her then locked her in a room for 3 days. He is no better than the aunt. Don't even get me started on how he treated his brother. Ladies, you deserve better than the Jared's and the "fifty shades" type of guys.

I loved Sparrow, such a spunky fireball, just wish she was given a real man.

I will give the author another chance and continue reading the series for now, but I recommend you skip this book.

OMG! Hate, torture, love, sadness, abuse. I gave this a 3 because in the beginning I was disappointed and at a 2. Come on Jared was trying to find Hoyt then gets grabbed by Sparrow and he is enthralled about sexual attraction. Come on, he is special ops and trained to block out many things. .
Then there was action even though sad but suspense-and then I was at a 4.
Then they find Hoyt and while they get him to safety and instead of spending ever moment sitting by his side Jared has sex with Sparrow again.

I was disappointed in his behavior. It was unimaginable what he and his brother went through about but come on.

Also where is they ending to kay and Crowe Mountain?

I just love all the guys in this series!!!!
As usual Lindsay Cross has delivered another great story filled with action, sexiness that is off the charts and gripping emotions. Jared and Sparrow are absolutely great characters and I love the way she has them interact and grow throughout the story. The usual cast of characters are seen during the story and I love the sense of family they all have for each other. We really need a book for Hoyt now.....

I received this book from Net Galley in exchange for an honest review.

Good premise. Mostly decent follow through. But this book needs an editor. The author forgot the name her hero took as an alias. There were several leaps without explanation. And I didn't like how Sparrow was so nice. Jared acted like an ass and she still kept coming back.

Wow! Ok! So now we have Jared’s and Sparrow's story. Jared returns to Tennessee to get revenge for the abuse and torture he and his little brother Hoyt suffered as kids. Actually he drags Hoyt back there where Hoyt is then captured and tortured while Jared is letting himself get “captured" by Sparrow, because obviously he could have overpowered her had he chosen to do so. I mean he’s specially trained. Anyway, these two seem to make out at the most inopportune times and places. I couldn’t get on board with Jared barely making sure his brother was okay when the rest of the team rescued them before chasing after Sparrow. When he calls to check in with his team, he has the nerve to ask “did he make it?” but only after he finally takes Sparrow's virginity . . . All the while accusing her of betrayal. 😳 I will say the sex was smokin' hot, but the timing to me was just all wrong.

I noticed that other reviewers have already pointed out the objections to the way the author uses dialect that is supposedly that of from someone from Tennessee, so I’ll just say “I concur" and move on.

I want to like Jared based on the previous books, but the way he treated Sparrow made it difficult for me. I really felt sorry for poor Sparrow, but such as it is, she was in love with him. I felt Jared's pain because of the guilt that ate away at him for what his brother suffered though. I'm just a little surprised these two made it as a couple. It wasn't a terrible story, but it needs a little work.

Jared Crowe and his brother, Hoyt, have returned to the mountain that they once called home. This is no ordinary mountain...this is where their parents died and left them orphaned...this is where their aunt abused them...this is where a young girl helped them escape. Now the Crowe brothers have returned...mainly because Jared wants to take revenge on his aunt because he can't move on with his life and settle down until his aunt has her day of reckoning. Unfortunately, things don't go as planned & the brothers are captured separately. Sparrow can't believe her luck! She's captured someone who was spying on her community. She believes that this is the opportunity for a 'promotion'...this mountain group runs guns, drugs and prostitution, and the matriarch is powerful enough in the county that she is never crossed. When she discovers that Jared is one of the boys that she helped escape all those years ago, she is ready to help find his brother and leave the mountain for good. Once again, things don't go as planned. Sparrow and Jared find Hoyt barely alive...and Jared believes that she is responsible. Will they escape the mountain and will Hoyt survive? Overall a good story, even though Jared was a bit of a jerk for most of the book. Looking forward to Hoyt's story.

Sparrow has lived on Crowe Mountain most of her life. When she catches a man spying, she takes him back to her trailer as her prisoner. Jared and his brother are rightful heirs to Crowe Mountain but his aunt tried to kill them when they were children but the escaped. Now military men, they’ve came back to take out their aunt but Jared’s brother is taken and that’s how he gets caught by Sparrow. He convinces Sparrow to help find his brother and when he does, he’s been badly tortured. Delirious, Hoyt says Sparrow helped torture him. Jared kidnaps her and takes her with them. Jared takes them to a brother’s compound like home and keeps her there, locked in a room, until Hoyt can tell them if it was her or not. Sparrow escapes after having her heart stomped on by Jared and goes home to warn Kay, the leader on the mountain, that her son is going to try and kill her. Can Jared get her to forgive him for all the crap he’s put her through?
Sex and edge of your seat action. Great story. I love Mrs. Cross’s books. You feel like you are right in the middle of it.

One returned to the mountain that had almost been their death, as boys. He came for revenge, he came for answers.
The other come, as he always did, following his big brother. He had followed out of that dark closet that was almost their coffin, he followed in joining the military, he also accompanied him on the yearly trek to the home mountain.
This year, he swore it would be the last.
She was caught in a life that she knew no other. Orphaned at a young age, she owed Miss Kay for saving her. She understood the evil that was her step-brothers, but she had a tie to the old man, who had taught skills to survive this place.
Now, circumstances threw these three back together, yrs the had a history, but would any of them have a future?
You need to read this great story for yourself, to find out the whole tale, just the way the author has written it. I am sure you won't be disappointed.

“Reckless River”, third in the 'Men of Mercy' series, is the best to date.
Brother Jared and Hoyt Crowe were helped to escape from their aunt's cruel hands when they were children.
The girl who helped free them, Sparrow Pickney, remained behind.
Now adults and former special soldiers the two men are reconnoitring Crowe Camp, Tennessee Mountains, to bring their Aunt, Katlyn Crowe (aka Aunt Kat) down.
Aunt Kat owns the mountain and everyone on it. She rules with an iron fist, subject to no law.
Jared is found and taken prisoner by – no surprise here – none other than Sparrow Pickney.
What he doesn't know is that Hoyt has also been captured by the sadistic Jimbo Crowe.
What follows alternates between silly, sexual, and sadistic.
It's all pretty much par for the course, though darker than most novels of this kind.
It's a quick read which is somewhat let down by a finale that is over almost as soon as it starts.
3 Stars.

Emotional and Action-Packed Read!

This is the story of Jared and Sparrow who both will at times make you laugh and make you cry. Neither had a good childhood growing up on Crowe Mountain. Jared and his brother were abused and neglected and left to die until Sparrow sets them free and they escape. Sparrow stayed on the mountain and has fought for everything she ever wanted and each scrap she could get. When they all meet it again it isn't under much better circumstances. Jared's brother is missing and he allows himself to get captured by Sparrow in order to find him. Throughout the whole book there is a constant battle of wills going on between Sparrow and Jared. While impressed with each other's skills and attracted to each other, neither one of them is big on trust. Lots of action while they flee the mountain and return at the end to secure their HEA.

Edge of your seat action! A well-written storyline with action, suspense, horror, fear, betrayal and romance. Jared wants revenge on his Hillbilly aunt. She tried to kill he and his brother Hoyt, when they were just boys, and he is determined to get justice. When Hoyt is taken, Jared must track him down and rescue him, but doesn’t count on being captured by Sparrow, the girl who saved them so long ago. He and Sparrow must release Hoyt, but when Hoyt is delirious and thinks she is the one who cut him, Jared will not listen to her pleas and he is determined to make her pay. How they get Hoyt to freedom and some medical aid, and how Sparrow gets through to Jared, makes this a story not to be put down. I loved the teamwork in this story and the secondary characters were well developed. This is an exciting read.

Reckless River is a phenomenal romantic suspense by Lindsay Cross. Ms. Cross has provided readers with a well-written book populated with an outstanding cast of characters. Brothers Hoyt and Jared became orphans young and when their aunt decided to keep the mountain that belonged to them, they were chained and left to die. Now they're back. When Hoyt disappears Jared lets himself be captured by Sparrow. Sparrow and Jared's story is packed with drama, humor, smokin' hot sex, action and suspense. I was sucked into this story on the first page and was glued to my e-reader until the end. I enjoyed reading this book and look forward to reading more from Lindsay Cross in the future. Reckless River is book 1 of the Men of Mercy Series but can be read as a standalone. This is a complete book, not a cliff-hanger.

The heroine in this story is absolutely awesome!

This is book three of the "Men of Mercy" series. The heroine in this story is absolutely awesome! This is a great story but does moments of abuse, so those with triggers beware. Even though, I found this story kept me up saying one more chapter than I'll go to sleep. The hero in this story was stronger in ways I don't think he would agree on. When having the upbringing he and his brother had not everyone can survive that. Without giving too much away let's just say PTSD can effect you in different ways. I felt the characters Sparrow and Jared are prefect for each other. If you like military stories with soldiers, hillbilly women and what I would call comical bondage, this is one you don't want to miss. Check it out!

Jared and Hoyt are brothers that had a hard life after there parents died. They were raised by there aunt Kaye that abused and tried to kill them. The only reason the boys are alive is because they were rescued by Sparrow.
Sparrow finds Jared sneaking around on compound and she captures him not realizing who he is. Once she does she vows to help him find his brother Hoyt that was kidnapped.
This story was amazing. I enjoyed all the drama, action and all these amazing character's. Jared character I flip flopped back and forth multiply times during the story just by his reaction to situations in the story. I knew he was a great guy. I dived right into the next book of the series because I need more.

Sparrow & Jared fiery story.

Another excellent book from Lindsay Cross. It starts with Jared Crowe trying to infiltrate Crowe mountain where his brother and him became separated. There is bad memories and angst against Miss Kay and her children who deliberately mistreated them as children. He is captured by Sparrow, someone who helped them escape years ago. Nobody recognises him and he is tied up securely by sparrow. Sexual tension arises between them and the story centres against his escape, rescueing his brother Hoyte and tracking quickly through the jungle to meet up with other members of his team.
Not all is plain sailing and the story is well weaved to the end. It is not a book that you can leave aside, you are hooked in wanting to see the ending.

This was a heart pounding action packed book with a whole lot of heart. I absolutely love Lindsay Cross she has a great way with her words, they make you feel as if you can reach out and touch her characters. This story has you on the edge of your seat and turning the pages quickly to see what awaits on the next turn. Jared Crowe is a man with plenty of nightmares, now on a mission to rescue his brother he must come face to face with those nightmares. Sparrow Pickney is trying to earn her place with her adopted family and she is determined to prove her loyalty and she may have a way when she captures Jared. This is where the real action starts and will not stop to the end of the story. I absolutely loved this book and I highly recommend it. This is one outstanding series.

This is the third book in the Men of Mercy series. It surrounds the lives of the Special Ops group. In each book it follows the life of one of the men. This one follows Hoyt and Jared. Two brothers that have a disturbing secret.
They need to combat this secret head on. In the meantime Jared becomes hostage, but not really, to a woman that he remembers from his past. And what ensues from this point on is amazing, heart breakingly horrific and emotional.
Can Jared and Hour overcome their childhood??? Or will it end both of them???

Beautiful yet also devastating

Author Lindsay Cross weaves another very riveting story. Jared and Hoyt Crowe had a very devastating childhood before another young girl helped them escape. The evil, greedy, cruel people in this world are hard to comprehend. You will be spellbound with this book as the now adult heroic military Crowe brothers are trapped once again in their horrible hometown where they have to deal with life altering events. Lots of suspense, good verses evil, passion and several twists along the way.

Kinda disappointed

I love these books and the way L.C writes. But...this one was not nearly as good as the others. Hillbilly or not, you just wouldn't allow yourself to be treated so badly and keep allowing certain things to happen. Human nature, to me, just wouldn't allow these drastic scenarios between two people. Oh just couldn't find this story believable, especially between Sparrow and Jarod

Reckless River, Men of Mercy series book 3 by Lindsay Cross is a huge 5 star read.
This book had so much going on that I had to re-read parts of it to make sure I didn't miss anything. This was so well written that I know it's a book that I will enjoy time and time again.
I voluntarily reviewed a copy of this book gifted by the author with no obligation to review.
