Interesting story, way too concise, so many typos and very simple language. Filled with grammatical errors or redundancy, eg “more superior”. Sounds like it was written by a seventh grader for a book report and plagiarized off of Wikipedia. Felt like I was scammed by the internet but may look for a formal history as my interest was peaked.

A great summary of the technology innovation of both systems.

A short and sweet story of the competition between different electrical systems, to serve the public in the USA. A great book.

This book is full of surprises. I enjoyed the interesting portrayal of people like Edison, Westinghouse, and Tesla, all of whom want a better world and yet fight on how to make it happen. This is an enjoyable study.

A brief history of the Westinghouse-Edison rivalry in the late 19th century. Interesting but loaded with distracting typos.

You have to enjoy science for this one but it is a great one in the history of electricity and the main players which I hadn’t been aware of.

Factual but dry

Very concise but also very dry writing. Good overview of the current wars but no drama in the telling of the tale

AC vs DC - A layman's explanation

A short, simple overview of the history of AC and DC electricity, the men behind it and how both are being used today. A good primer for schools

History of AC Dc Power

A great story of power distribution and the battle of the titans. Westinghouse won out of honesty where Edison tried deception.

Insightful

This book is a good summary of the events from the current war era. It also tied in good facts about electric AC and DC systems that I did not kmow.

Extremely fascinating but very technical if you are not in electrical person.
