It's amazing how perfectly the illustrator/author conveys his idea through this 32-page picture book. He seems to be talking about a little boy, Han-Han's experience of meeting some injured animals before reuniting with his long-awaited father, but in fact, you'll realize the author's actually reflecting on that kind of helplessness towards the world nowadays. About all those cold-blooded acts of wars, the selfishness in human beings, exploitation of Mother Nature and so on. Under the Same Moon is definitely a book that'll get you thinking and hopefully, one day, we could make a change.
