Frat boys Tony and Ray fell for each other when they were both college freshmen, but neither of them knew. At a Halloween costume party in a gay nightclub, they're drawn together, masked by their costumes. When they tumble into bed together later that night, the everything comes off. With identities revealed, the situation heats up.
 
Neither of them can undo what happened between them, but after years of being best friends, the misunderstandings begin to pile up. Will old habits tear them apart before they even have a chance, or can true love really beat all odds on Halloween?

Fairly short story of two college jocks fumbling toward realizing they are in love together. Realizing that in the jock eat jock world of college athletics, the two of them coming out as a gay and as a couple is beyond terrifying. The story ends with a HFN, where all the hard stuff is still to come.

This was cute and sexy right up until these two dummies stopped communicating entirely. Luckily they get it together, and I think this story's brevity worked in its favor. Overall a fun Halloween novella though.

Costume Party by Riley Knight was a short hot story about two best friends and frat brothers that both think they are straight but aren't willing to risk their friendship by asking to find out for sure. Ray and Tony both have the same Halloween idea when they decided to drive a couple of hours away and attend a gay Halloween costume party. However, neither of them knows the other is there but a sense of familiarity draws them together on the dance floor, and they end up at a hotel room where they find out who they are with. Will the shock be too much for them to process or will they finally give the love they have been harboring for each other over the years a chance? I loved this short story. It had the right amount of sexy scenes and drama to balance it out. I voluntarily reviewed an advanced reader copy of this book.

A short, smutty and entertaining sports , New Adult quickie. Perfect little tale to read before bedtime or during a boring train ride.

I enjoyed this story. It was a quick, sweet, friends to lovers story. It was filled with steamy scenes, great characters, a tiny bit of outside influence on the characters choices, and a sweet ending. This story is mostly about the two main characters and their developing relationship, there is very little other interaction with other characters. The story reads like an intimate dialogue between the head and the heart, rather than a relationship shaped by outside forces.

I would have liked a bit more interaction with Teresa, as she could have been more if a moderator between the main characters. I would have also liked either one more chapter about the characters coming out to their friends or an epilogue with an update. Over all I thought this was a sweet story and a great read. I will be reading more from this author in the future.

This was a short, sweet friends to lovers story about Ray and Tony. Both men are athletes and have been best friends for a long time. Halloween is a trigger for them to finally show some of the love and attraction that they had for each other There was definitely some angst as they almost loose each other. This was sexy read, although it had potential to be so much more. It would have been nice to see how friends and family reacted to their coming out with an epilogue into the future for the two. However for a quick read it was satisfying enough and worth the read.

A sweet, young adult story about self discovery and realsing that the one person you thought coulod be out of range was in fact the one for you. Tony and Ray hooked up at a costume party. Before the night was out, they realised that their friendship hung in the balance.

Halloween MM GFY/friends to lovers romance

The ending was wholly unsatisfying. I don't want to join a mailing list just to get a bonus chapter. If there is more story it should be in the book.

Liked the easy GFY/friends to lovers style. This was a quick easy read. Overall, it was just ok and I wouldn't want to reread this one.

A short story about two best friends/frat brothers who in public identify as straight; while both secretly pinning for the other. This book was full of hot tension and hidden identities that has you on the edge of your seat waiting to see how everything will unfold. I am a big fan of Riley Knight and this was a short and sweet romance that is worth a read!

Such a cute short read. Packed with so much goodness. I love these kind of reads. I did have a few confusing moments with the names being switched though.
