Miss Irene Clearmont asks you to Imagine a world where therapists destroy and enslave their clients. imagine a deviant, immoral study in sexual behaviour that twists and bends the subjects to utter submission. Imagine holding the full case notes in your hands and being a fly on the wall at every session.
Well, this novel does that and so much more. Cuckoldry, obedience, Femdom with male assistance. The FULL case notes of three sets of victims of therapists who are out to prove that they can enslave with impunity... All of their notes, all of the sessions, all of the planning... As they bend the sexual preferences of their clients, take them on a journey that ends in utter servitude and slavery.
Six months in the writing, 'Corrective Therapy' is a novel that will blow your mind out of the window as the various case-studies of female domination unfold.
A simple warning: This is a gateway into ADULT writing with Female Domination as the sub-genre.
Last Work Published: 'Maid and Aunt' trilogy.
My writing is strong, complex and uncompromising and not intended for those of weak temperament. A wicked cocktail... A deep draft of sexual fetish, with a twist of horror, a dash of uncertainty and a slice of tender and loving wickedness.
This book starts off somewhat dry, and it is to be expected. The story is in the supposed transcriptions of the therapy sessions.
The first is Kathy Schmidt, married to Larry, cheating on him with Ata Maylumbo. She likes Larry but when he leaves his job because of her open cheating, she loses all respect for him. Ata takes her to Atlantic City and Las Vegas. She is constantly sexualized and Larry is, further, crushed by her behavior. Physical abuse and a chastity cage are used as methods of control.
The end result was a success. Both Schmidts were of great service to the study.
The second is Elsie Channer and Edward Holly, in an “open relationship.” This time, Maya Urumba, playing the role of Ata Maylumbo’s wife sets up a female-dominant relationship with Edward as Ata sets up a male-dominant relationship with Elsie. Both are taken to the limits of normal, or what they consider normal. As they are heavily in debt, the loss of their jobs is used as a trigger to initiate their training.
The third is James Vallely, a successful real estate developer with strong homophobia and a racial bias. He has a past indiscretion. He is taken in hand by Dr. Elaine Harambe to train him. Dr. Ata Maylumbo is his counselor.
During the course of his training, James finds that many of his biases mean nothing.
There are references to New York and language and expressions that are not American, but British English throughout the text, but these do not detract from the stories.
I have had the great pleasure of getting to know Miss Irene Clearmont via social media, so when she kindly offered me a copy of her latest novel for review, I naturally jumped at the chance.
While it is a bit unusual in the telling, with a clinical case-note format rather a traditional narrative, that structure is very much a part of what makes Corrective Therapy: Case Notes in Domination-Psychoanalysis so fascinating. Miss Irene Clearmont invites us to be a proverbial fly on the wall as the subjects in a deviant study in sexual behavior confess all to their therapists. She then welcomes us to stick around after each session to learn how the situations were arranged, how they were secretly guided into perversion, what drugs were secretly administered, and what the institute has learned from each experience.
There are three stories here, each with something unique to offer the reader. The first involves a couple, deeply in debt, whose already strained marriage led them to counseling following a brief affair. The second takes us into a so-called open marriage where neither spouse really plays by the rules, setting them up for further temptation. The last is an altogether different story, focusing on a single man - a wealthy, chauvinistic, conservative racist - who is constantly defending himself against the sins of his past.
In each case, the participants have been forced into situations that are designed to twist them, break them, and convert them towards a highly fetishistic lifestyle of slavery to dominant black lovers. It is not just about sex and bondage, however. These are stories of emotional breaking, intellectual regression, and physical transformation. Those transformations are incredible, especially the ways in which personalities slowly change, turning once-normal suburbanites into wanton bimbo sluts, complete with tattoos, body modifications, and more. It is an incredibly erotic read, especially with the voyeuristic feel of the interviews, yet the finality of it all is frightening at the same time - especially for the men.
As an author, Miss Irene Clearmont has that unique blend of passion and experience that brings her stories to life. She writes what I would call intelligent erotica, and nowhere is that more evident than with Corrective Therapy. The amount of detail she has invested in the therapeutic background is astounding, with genuine insights into the psychology of sexuality and submission, and complex ideas surrounding interracial dominance that go far beyond the simple clichés of inherited shame and race reparations. Even when she takes her subjects as far as she does, crossing the line between fantasy and nightmare, she writes in such a way that we can understand and even appreciate the erotic plausibility of each scenario.
The style of writing is impressive. Instead of straight narrative, the book is written as clinical therapist reviews and case-study remarks. It has surely worked well. Problem, however, is that the book marketed as a Female Domination story has lot more Maledom & Transdom material than Femdom. Hence, misleading book title is attracting wrong audience. I'm sure people interested in general BDSM fiction and/or Maledom/Transdom stories would love it. For pure Femdom readers, the book would be somewhat disappointing.
