The Southside skulls MC series has got to be one of my favorite series out there these can be read as a standalone but I highly suggest that you read them in order or at least read Zack before you start Levi . I knew my heart was going in for an emotional roller coaster with the little tease we got at the end of the last book but wow Jessie Cooke knows how to bring a kick to my feels . The way Levi and Zoe are brought together is done in such a beautifully tragic way , while the incident someone lost something but the other was brought something . I don't know how to feel about the next book in the series but I'm excited to see whats to come for the characters .

Zoe Levi Krissy
For me this Series keeps getting better and better.I think that this tale was by far the most emotional one yet.This story was kind of like a love triangle that consisted of the living and the dead.What surprised me the most is as you read the story you connected the dots as you went along but kept leading you back to the parties involved.As the story evolves all those coincidences started to make sense .
I love when you can connect with the characters that you read about and for me I did just that but, I could not help but love them from the onset of the story.My heart broke for both Levi,Zoe and of course Krissy .All these characters endured so much pain and sorrow and for Zoe she battled so much more.
A horrible tragedy and coincidence leads Levi to Zoe just when she needs it.From the moment they met there was this intense connection between them as well as sparks both drawn to each other.The intense feelings or connection troughs both of them off kilter. Levi is grieving from the losing the love of his life yet this girl out of know where is stirring his lust and so much more.
I always pick a favorite character and mine this time around is going to be Zoe.I picked her because she was so brave to rise above all the things that were bringing her down and she continued fighting for this new life she wanted to create for herself.I thought her to be beautiful inside and out even with all her faults,loving giving,brave,kind ,caring,strong and determined and found her to be one of the sweetest people all around.I loved her relationship with her Grandma and how the Grandmother never gave up on her as many times as she fell down and got up back again.That unconditional love gave her the strength to fight for her life.I love grandmas!My own was my best friend so I am so glad Zoe had someone to lean on.I love how she constantly fought her attraction for Levi all the wild knowing the were meant to be together and her attempts to keep him at arms lengths gave me more than a few chuckles. She was such a spit- fire.
Omg ! I think I am in love with Levi .What a hunk and total bada** who was filled with so much love kindness and sweetness.An overall all super niece guy who wasn't loaded down with a tragic past but , came from a loving family.I loved how instantly he became protective of Zoe even without knowing her but for some strange reason has a huge amount of feelings for even with evening knowing her but, feeling like she his another half.Strange ,confusing and totally weird but he feels it and it scares him.I just loved him from the onset and my heart broke for him not only losing the love of his life but his father as well.The tears justed started welling up here and continued to tug at my heart strings from the beginning and until the end of the story.
I loved the story from cover to cover .The story had so many twists and turns and ups and downs it just kept you turning the pages right up to the point it was finished and I did just that even if I nodded off a few times before getting to the end.(Grins)I loved the chemistry and the sparks and the hotness that Zoe and Levi created in reality and in their dreams .The story was definitely steamy just how we like it.
I love a story that has you thinking about the story even hours after you have finished it.This story did that for me as it has you thinking is there life after death?Is there such thing as divine intervention?Are Angels Real ?Is there such a thing as reincarnation ?Can Souls transfer to one another?Even though the story is fictional in life we have seen individuals with some amazing gifts as well a miracles and after this story is said and done it has you thinking is someone or something shaping out own fate?
A recommended read to all and this one goes into to the keep pile to be read again and again.
PS:If you like MC Romance reads that aren't overly dark, gritty and not to violent this is a series to give a try .We enjoy the other books in this series as well and they have a great cast of characters that keep gracing all the current books still giving us a sneak peek of our favorites we have come to love.

Levi has been rethinking his life in the Defenders MC, however, when tragedy strikes, taking both his father and the woman he planned to spend the rest of his life with, it's obvious he needs a change. He doesn’t like what they've become, the drugs and the violence, the total disregard for the people outside of their club. He's conflicted now more than ever and mourning Krissy while facing the fact that the accident killing her and his father isn't adding up, is driving him crazy. Now he's seeing a woman he’s never met, the woman who held Krissy's hand as she died, in his dreams. Is there something more going on, is there a reason for everything that happened? Some insane twist of fate? Or is it all just some weird coincidence?
While this is a MC Romance, it’s also
something quite different. It’s not every day we read about a Biker losing his soulmate and then that soulmate bringing him and the woman he'll fall in love with together. There's this connection they have through their dreams as well as their nightmares. They're actually seeing one another and the feelings they are experiencing are sticking with them. It's almost a mystical story.
There is also an intriguing mystery going on here as far as Levi’s father and the club. It went well with the romantic aspect of the story and had me hooked from the beginning. I could tell right away that I was not going to like this particular club and Levi was too good to be part of them.
Zoe’s story is sad, too. She’s an addict and finally being clean for only a week, she is faced with witnessing a horrible accident. Not knowing what to do she calls 911 and then holds the hand of an injured and bloodied woman as she dies. That’s a lot to thrust on a junkie but Zoe is stronger than she knows and she realizes this is it. Life’s too short to live like she has. It’s time to get clean and get her life on track.
Zoe broke my heart. Her past and her decline were what endeared her so much to me because it was so real. She’s not the typical h, she wasn’t the bright-eyed, naive young woman that we see so often, instead, she was flawed and she needed work. She was in need of Levi and family.
Overall, I really enjoyed this story and the characters. I loved how unique it was, not at all the formulaic Motorcycle Club Romance I’ve read so often. I thought there was a bit too much sex (the scenes were long) and that was the only thing that really bothered me. It’s an emotional rollercoaster but it’s well worth it and I highly recommend it.

Oh my freaking God what have I done. How did I manage to become so crazy about MC books? I might have an explanation but I don't want to think about it because I just want to read as many books as I can. And if the books are written by Jessie Cooke sigh me up because this woman knows what she is doing.
Levi is her latest release and it's the 5th book from the Southside Skulls series.
Let me just say one thing, if you haven't read the other books from this series you should because despite they are all standalones you need to know the characters better.
This book, like the tittle entitles, tells Levi's story.
Levi saw his life shredder into pieces the day his soulmate Krissy and his father died. He wants to give up but one night he starts to have some weird dreams that looks like they are real.
When he suspects that their deaths might have been planed he seeks information's and revenge.
There was a girl there, at the time of the accident that witnessed it all and saw Krissy take her last breath. Zoe's life changed since that day because that experience changed her and now she needs to let go of the drugs and start over.. And then she starts to have dreams with Levi just like he has.
When she meets Levi she gives him a false name because she's scared.
Can these two lost souls find the path to happiness? Can they find love again against all odds?

The plot is amazing, intense and mysterious and the interaction between the characters is beautiful, raw and different.
Forget about the other books from this series that you've read because this one will blow your mind. And this cover is by far, my favorite of all series. Simply beautiful.

With all of the other MC romances out there it's hard to stand out, but Ms. Cooke does in a big way. She writes relatable MC stories, concentrating not only on the MC aspect but the build up to story behind it. One of my all-time favorite series. This book was in an emotional roller coaster from the first chapter. Levi's girlfriend and the love of his life climbs on the back of his father's motorcycle and that is the last time he sees them both alive. Levi spirals, until he goes to the police station and is presented with a locket from the scene of the accident. Upon rubbing it he feels a measure of calm, not to mention his dead girlfriend is visiting him in his dreams, but there's an addition to his dream. A girl he has never seen before.
Zoe is strung out looking for her next fix when she happens upon a horrific accident. She holds the young woman's hand while she takes her last breath and only mentions one name- Levi. Now Zoe is having erotic dreams about the dead girl's boyfriend. When Levi and Zoe finally meet there is an instant connection. They both know each other through their dreams, but neither of them giveaway just how erotic in nature they are.
Three souls are so interconnected you don't know where one begins and ends. That is the connection between Levi, Krissy and Zoe. But how do you know when you are ready to move on? What time length do you put on grieving?

Levi (KU) 348 pgs ** Levi & Zoe
The story could have been a great one if there was more story. It seemed the author just created ways to insert 20-page sex scenes that were not even written well. Even the epilogue was a sex scene! The main couple, not sure what they were, honestly. There was no chemistry at all, I don’t think they really liked each other but just got together because they were told they were supposed to be together. This may be my last book in this series. Apparently, the author only wants to write sex scenes with a tiny bit of story in between. Don’t get me wrong, I love a well written sexy, hot, romantic sex scene but these are not that in any way or fashion.

So I knew right away after finishing Zach's book that I was going to have to read this one. This book is a little different than other books and definitely different from typical MC books I read. And that are in this series. We actually meet Levi in Zach's book.
I felt for Levi, I really did. Not only is he mourning the loss of his father. But he is also mourning the loss of his girlfriend Krissy. I really liked Levi, I've liked him since we meet him in Zach's book. I thought he was sweet, kind, and caring. But could be tough when need be.
Oh Zoe, this poor girl. I felt for her too. She's a young woman who hadn't had the easiest upbringing. And because of that she hasn't made the greatest decisions in life either. But after one night of watching a woman die she decides to turn her life around and live. I really connected with Zoe, even though I've never personally had a drug problem. I've had family members that have had the problem and know how hard it is for them to kick the habit and how it affects family.
I really don't want to give anymore away about this book than I probably already have. But I do want to say this I think this is the first time in a long time where it's taken till almost the end of the book for a couple to get together. But these two definitely do make up for it in their dreams.
I will say what I do like the most about this series is even though most of these guy's are coming from different clubs. That Mrs. Cooke still incorporates the Southside Skull guys into the book.
I'm giving this book 4 Stars out of 5!!!!

This was a different MC for sure. But it still was an extremely intriguing MC romance with a mysterious story line of intense dreams and spirits, it grabbed me right from the first chapter.
Levi thought he'd had his life planned out, a beautiful girlfriend Krissy he adored and she loved him back, they were soul mates. Until tragedy struck and she was killed with his father. Zoe is a witness at the motorcycle accident and is present as a young woman takes her last breath. Zoe's life is now changed and from then on. Levi and Zoe finally meet, Zoe giving him a false name hiding her knowledge of Krissy, and they both hide that they have been plagued with confusing dreams, some with them together others, Levi with Krissy.
You have to step outside the box when you read this book, if you can't let a little mystery and fantasy into your imagination, this books not for you, but imagination can take you a along way.
I found this to be an amazing read. Zoe really was a broken young woman determined to make something of her life and torn Levi, the emotion felt by him was heartbreaking, his fight to move on was almost to over whelming for him at times. And I loved the eerie mystery of the story, their fight to understand and couldn't wait for the out come.

I became an instant fan of the talented Jessie Cooke since I started reading the Southside Skulls MC series, and loved everyone of them! But Levi nearly brought me to my knees with such emotion, that I'm still feeling it. Levi lost the love of his life in an accident, and it threw him for a huge loop. His soulmate Krissy, got on the back of his father's bike, and neither survived, and Levi is barely functioning. But somehow, there was someone there with Krissy that has come into his life, who has demons just like him. Zoe has gone through the ringer with her addiction to drugs, and Levi comes into her life just when she needed someone the most. As I'm getting emotional all over again, that's all that I'm going to say about that, because I don't want to give anything away. Levi and Zoe were amazing together, and I loved them both so much. Zoe was a strong woman that picked herself up by the bootstraps to make something of her life, and that had me on her side 100%! While Levi was such a bad a**/sweetheart which had me in love with him hard. And the cast of secondaries only added more to this awesome story! Honestly, I could talk about this highly emotional & original story for days, but that would only waste time for people who need to go and get this book NOW! In conclusion, all I can add now is that I HIGHLY HIGHLY HIGHLY RECOMMEND TO ALL!

Levi is book 5 in the Southside Skulls MC series, and I have to say out of all the series I have read this was the most poignant tale of love and loss. When I read the blurb I thought it was going to be an emotional ride, but I had no idea how spiritual and life affirming the story was going to be.
Levi rides with the Defenders and if you have read Zack then you will be with me in that you do not like this club, but Levi is just so different from the rest of the club that you feel he just doesn't fit in to their world. This story is beautiful and heartfelt, you will definitely need the tissues to make your way through. It was so different to the other books in the series and was extremely surprising. I would go as far as to say that Levi is my favourite of the the series hands down. My heart strings where plucked from the first page to the last and the story is captivating that I just couldn't put it down. I hope you all feel the same once you get your hands on this book.

Levi rides with the Defenders and if you have read Zack then you will be with me in that you do not like this club, but Levi is just so different from the rest of the club that you feel he just doesn't fit in to their world. This is my first Jessie Cooke read and of course the first one of this series. With that being said I will be for sure reading the first ones of the series. Jessie Cooke is now at the top of my list of favorite MUST read MC Authors. If you have read a lot of MC like I have they can seem to be a little repetitive over time but Jessie Cooke will take you to an all new level and she will stand out from all those other authors.

Jessie has delivered a book that really stands out in the world of MC romances. This book does have the action, suspense and mystery that all MC books have it has a stoy of two people building a friendship during a time they are both grieving.
Both of these characters are in a time in their lives where the last thing they are looking for is love. One is trying to get their life straight after addiction and experiencing something traumatic and the other is drowning in grief and doesn't know how or if they want to find a way out.
I loved being able to read Levi and Zoe's story. It had a very different story and it was one that had me completely engrossed in. Fate and the powers that be really had a hand in their story and it was one that makes you think. Not only will this story warm your heart but first it will break it.
This book was such a great read and I highly recommend it. I can't wait to read more by Jessie Cooke in the future!

Levi and Zoe. Zoe is a girl that is living out on the street dealing with trying to start over. She sees an accident and is there for the girl that was hit. Little does she know that the accident is going to change the rest of her life. Levi is dealing with not only the death of his father but the death of his one true love. The accident and the girl from the accident bring Zoe and Levi together and completely change their lives.If i didnt believe in angels before I read this book. Let me tell you I do know. I absolutely loved this book. I loved how no matter what Krissy was there for them both through some very strong dreams. I absolutely loved the story between Levi and Susie. It brought out his soft side even more. I loved how he was more willing to help her then take revenge for what the guy did to Zoe.There was just something so sweet about that part. I absolutely loved this book. Jessie did a great job with this one. It was emotional, touching and just so sweet.

The earth Angel
This story is full of tear jerking moments, from the start to the finish. He looses his soul mate but she has found his real soulmate for him.... There are several twists and turns of a coincidence or a fate nature. I strongly suggest if you haven't read the previous stories in the series you really need to read Zack, for sure because this story has some overlap... There are others who are from other previous stories in here but the Angel Krissy is clearly intertwined with Zoe who is Levi's love.... But the majority of the story is about the two dreaming about each other. I liked the story but it was sorta a lot of repetitive sexy dreams.... I didn't like that as much honestly.... I felt like the story focused almost too much on the dead girlfriend and his relationship and the girl he is ment to met.... Seriously they don't really spend actual time together until over 50% of the story is finished...

This is the 5th book in this amazing series. Levi has been brought up in the MC life, and thought that he had his whole life planned out with his soulmate Krissy. Zoe is fighting addictions and lives on the street, but when she witnesses a tragic accident one night, and as she sat beside a woman and held her hand while she took her last breathe, she was so affected, that her life changed. Zoe and Levi are drawn to each other, and do not understand why. No spoilers; this is a must read for all MC lovers, you will not be disappointed!
This extremely talented author has written a truly beautiful storyline, and I was hooked and intrigued from the very beginning. I loved catching up with all of the other members as well. I highly recommend this author’s work, and cannot wait to read more of her work. Amazing work Jessie!

This was a mc book like no other. I loved how it touched on things many don't believe in. I couldn't help but cry or cheer them on throughout this story. Everyone needs a angel to cheer them on or push them in right direction. It is heartbreaking, but also so beautiful.
I loved Levi, he is so devoted, and loyal to his memories. He makes me want to cry a lot with what he goes through. He is caring, and loving. He is a big softie really.
I loved Zoe, she tries her hardest to change her life. She fights hard to change her life. She is also very caring, and loving to her grandparents. She has a big heart, and deserves all the happiness.

Do you believe? Do you believe in Angels? Do you believe in soulmates? Do you believe someone who has passed on can communicate from the other side and bring you to who will become your heart? No this is not a paranormal but it makes you want to believe or at least it did me.
This is Levi's and Zoe's book. I don't want to tell you too much about either of them because it will give too much away. I want you to get to know them and what they have been through. More then just a MC story!!!!!
I've read all five so far in this series but this is my favorite so far! Yes there was hot biker scenes ( it wouldn't be a MC story of there wasn't) but there was so much more..If you ever lost someone that you've loved but know and feel that they're with you, a part of your soul, I would definitely recommend that you read this. If you wonder about if there are angels guiding us or even if there is one person out there for all of us. Do you believe in destiny and things happen for a reason? Jessie Cooke has a way of writing that gives the reader thinking that maybe this could be true. Read this for yourself. It definitely gets you thinking!!! I can't wait to continue with this series and hope you enjoyed this as much as I did!!!

This was an amazing read, and not one that most authors could pull off. Most people in this book are connected in some way and it's fun to see how as the story unfolds. And get this, this is a MC romance with an angel, yup...a person who has died and helping those still on earth deal with life. This was amazingly told and well written. I loved Levi, a member of the Defenders, who is tough but also a good man. Zoe is following in her mother's footsteps as a druggie till she has a life altering event. How these two come together is amazing and beautiful. This is my first book by Jessie and I can't wait to read more!

But something strange happened now she is having dream about some guy. Levi ‘s dad and girlfriend where killed that night and Zoe was there but now levi is having dream about his ex and then they become about someone else then he meets her and he just know there is a connection. So enjoy another good read and see all they good thru to salve the mystery!!

Levi and Krissy fell in love at first sight, but it’s a young love, a growing love. They have made plans for a future together, but one night will change the direction of their lives.
Wow, this book is very different from the others in this series. It has a touch of supernatural/paranormal, just a tad. I would not call it a full on paranormal romance, but it is sprinkled throughout the main plot. Very, very interesting.

Great!
I chose this rating because this was a really great book. I enjoyed most all of the characters. This was a book of loss, love, coping, and just overall trying to get yourself together. This is the book also about revenge. Levi and Zoe. They came together in a very very unusual way. They went through some things they had to work some stuff out. Overall this was a really great book. I recommend this book to all romance readers.

I'm new to Jessie Cooke but I love her books and writing style. I went into Levi's story with such high hopes after Zack's book. I really wanted to give this book three stars but the writing was so well done I gave it four. I just didn't like it all the talk about angels and the lucid dreaming didn't speak to me. I'm happy how everything turned out but I'm glad it's over and I can get on to the next book.

This was probably one of my favorites in this series. I really liked all of the (main) characters, and was surprised by the amount of emotions that were brought out in Levi. This was a tragic, emotional, heartbreaking story, but it also includes a terrific ending for all of the heartbreak and chaos. It's certainly a must read story.
I would definitely recommend this book, series, and great author.

My emotions were all over the place reading this book. My heart broke for Levi with the losses that he suffered. Zoe was brought into his life because of those losses. She was on the road to recovery and get her life back on track the night his life changed. These two were brought together with a shove from above. To understand what I'm talking about you really need to read this book. I cried, I laughed, I cried some more and I couldn't put this book down.

This was so heartfelt
Levi was so in love with Krisie. He couldn't imagine his life without her. When tragedy strikes it brings two very unlikely souls together. I just felt so bad for Zoe and Levi they had been through so much for being so young. It left me feeling that maybe just maybe angels do exist
