She found her!

Jess saw Roxanne in one of her visions. Ben was wrong and the odd-ball sisters-in-law, believe it or not, were right—Roxanne wasn’t dead!

But where Jess saw her she could never come home from. She was as good as dead to Ben, because Roxanne couldn’t be his wife again, ever. If only Jess could find a way to make him understand, but he wouldn’t even listen to her.

Amber, Ben’s 4 year old autistic daughter was in trouble. Her development regressed drastically and Jess hoped it wouldn’t be permanent. Trying to take the child away from the influence of her aunts, she found that she couldn’t leave the house. She, and Amber, were trapped at Weltevreden.

Was this what Ether, the old housekeeper, meant on the day Jess arrived when she told her Jess would never leave again? The sisters wanted to do her in, but she was trapped and at their mercy?

And then Ether decided that she was living her final day, and that there was one more thing she had to do. Can a person do that? Can when decide when it was time to die? And what was the last thing she had to do? And after she was gone…

Would the sisters’ plan for Ben and Amber finally be revealed?

Maggie Tideswell, internationally acclaimed bestselling South African author, has a passion for romance. All over the world people are falling in love, making it love, not money, that makes the world go round.
Ghosts just can't seem to leave her alone and she combines things that can't be explained, sweaty bodies and rumpled beds in a way that will make your toes curl and your hair stand on end.
Maggie just can't do without perfume, coffee and the internet. She is nearly as passionate about food as she is about creating alpha heroes every woman will fall in love with, just as she does, every time.
The strangest thing is that cats have never played any kind of role in her stories, as she is owned by three of them.
That might change soon.

What a stunning conclusion to this paranormal romance. All the unanswered questions left lingering from the last book are answered. There is a lot happening as the book progresses we learn more about Daisy and her time travelling adventures. Then there is Daisy's evil twin who is trying to stop Jess and Ben from being together.

After Ether drops a bombshell stating that she does not think she will survive another day, all the secrets and lies are revealed leaving Ben in a state of shock. This conclusion novel was very well written with lots more back story and a ton of amazing twists and turns that left me absolutely gobsmacked after they were revealed. I voluntarily reviewed an ARC of this book.

After reading the first part of this paranormal romance series in Farewell, My Love, I was looking forward to seeing where Tideswell took the characters in PS: I Love You. She nicely finishes up the story of two pairs of lovers caught in circumstances and time and how they all intersect in each others' lives. Time travel, the supernatural, suspense, and magic pushes and pulls these couples in many different directions as the story unfolds, and you don't know until the end how the puzzle all fits together. Recommend reading the books in sequence.

This book picks right back up where the first left off. In the past, Daisy has her memories again and knows she is misplaced in time. She is trying to find a way home. Jess and Ben are trying to move forward, but she seems to be in danger because of Roxanne's sisters. The truth is revealed surrounding Roxanne and Daisy.

This book was excellent. It was filled with romance and history and paranormal. Just like the first half, you just never know what's going to happen. The sisters bring such a twisty story that makes it hard to put down. The revelations that come to light in this book are jaw dropping and are so crazy that you will never guess or see it coming. I loved it. The story is full of mystery and magic. This part was also very action packed. It kept me reading and on the edge of my seat.

After finishing Goodbye, My Love I couldn’t wait to see where Maggie Tideswell took the story in PS: I Love You, and let me say, she didn’t disappoint.

Seamlessly tying the two books together, Maggie has woven the paranormal with just the right amount of suspense to bring together a wonderfully melded story, giving just the right amount information to keep you guessing at what could be coming next.

The ‘dream/vision’ sequences were beautifully done. This reader could feel the emotion as Daisy told her story and all of the pieces of the puzzle came together.

In true Maggie fashion you are on the edge of your seat until the very last page.

With a fast-moving, twisting, turning plot, Maggie Tideswell finishes Roxanne's Ghost Saga in great form.

Very suspenseful and fun to read. The few "steamy scenes" were very well done; heated without being raunchy.

My recommendation: an excellent read for anyone who likes a good, quick-paced story.

This is a story that will inspire many emotions as readers learn the answers to questions left unanswered in Book 1. I thoroughly enjoyed reading it. If you have an interest in true love, ghosts and mystery, this is the book for you. Maggie Tideswell has spun a tale with characters that are both moving and inspirational. I felt like I was in the story as it played out. I don't want to give away too much! Another fantastic story from Author Maggie Tideswell!

The second and final book in Maggie Tidesell’s South African supernatural romance, PS: I Love You, has a preface of “From ghoolies and ghosties and long leggedy beasties, and things that go bump in the night, Good Lord, deliver us.” It is most apropos. What Jess James, widower Dr. Ben Arnold and the good veterinarian doctor’s daughter, Amber, experience is the extreme of “things that go bump in the night.” Jess, the woman who came to Weltevreden to be a governess for Amber and found herself very involved with the sexy doctor, experiences flashes back to a time a half century before when a white woman named Daisy falls in love with a black man named Jamin, not accepted in that time. Jess is convinced that Daisy is none other than the doctor’s wife, Roxanne, who had supposedly died in an auto accident. But how did she end up going back in time and could she return to the present?
Add to this mix the three sisters of Ben’s supposedly dead wife, one of whom is the twin of the wife who lays claim to Ben. They have powers that exceed normal humans, powers that threaten not only Jess and Ben’s future, but the safety of all that they find in their way. Millicent, Roxanne’s twin, makes it a point to persecute Jess to the point of endangering her life. The trio also try to take control of Amber, “initiating” her into their circle of perverse power. Jess battles them, seeking to thwart their attacks on her, shelter Amber and keep her growing relationship with Ben protected from their attacks. With the help of the aged housekeeper, Ethel, she has some success, but the sisters will not stop.
As the story continues, the Jess struggles not only to protect those she loves and her relationship with them, but even to stay alive. It is almost as though evil permeates Weltevreden, the house where the sisters were born and where they now seem to draw power. Can Jess not only thwart their plans, but save those she has grown to love and solve the mystery of Ben’s lost wife who seems to doom Jess and Ben’s relationship? Is her battle with normal humans or beings with powers beyond her ability to resist? Unexpected revelations help, but also seem to doom her hopes for a happy life. With ghostly twists, turns and struggles tight up to almost the end, Jess doesn’t give up.

Magic, Mystery, and Forbidden Love

The sequel to Goodbye, My Love contains magic, mystery, and surprises a-plenty, but for me it’s the continuing stories of Ben and Jess, Jamin and Daisy that most rivet the reader’s attention. Nearly half a century separate the two couples, but the device of fragrant lilies functions as a smooth bridge into the past. When Jess smells them, she is launched immediately into the world of Jamin and Daisy, sometimes witnessing their most intimate moments.

It’s quite a feat to switch back and forth between the four characters while keeping the narrative going smoothly. To Tideswell’s credit, she makes it seem easy. In the process she keeps the love and sex scenes coming. Sometimes they sizzle, as could be expected with two couples who passionately love each other, even though one of them doesn’t quite know it. I was especially moved by Jess’s conflict in loving Jamin while still being married to Ben fifty years in the future. She is torn between two lovers and agonizes over what to do. Should she remain faithful to Ben when she’ll almost certainly never see him again, or give herself to Jamin, her Malaysian soul mate?

Before the novel’s final act, there’s a series of real “wow” cliffhangers that kept me turning the pages. Plus some major surprises I didn’t see coming. Suffice it to say that in P.S.: I Love You, the author brings this two-book series to a satisfying conclusion.

PS: I Love You: A Paranormal Romance (Roxanne's Ghost Saga Book 2) - Review by Martha A Cheves

He should have brought his tools with him. Without their aid, he couldn't hear the whispers clearly enough. Turning, he looked back at Ben's house on the hill, debating whether he should go back to fetch them or not. The portal might shift in the time it took him - they were not absolutes carved in stone - and he'd miss the opportunity. He'd have to make do without the tools and channel his powers of concentration that much harder.

Slowly walking toward the headstone because it seemed the logical place for the portal to be, he kept his mind open and blank, receptive to any words that might fall into it like seeds into fertile ground. He sensed someone talking. Choosing a spot roughly equidistant between the three headstones, he sat down and crossed his denim-clad legs, his hands open-palmed on his knees.

As in book one of this series, Jessica is still at the home that had belonged to Ben and Roxanne where she had gone to take up the position of the Nanny to their daughter. In this second book Jessica is tortured by the missing Roxanne's sisters, especially the twin who has her sight set on taking Roxanne's place in her marriage to Ben and becoming the mother of their child. And the tale continues from there.

This book is one that kept me going as I tried to make the connections between Roxanne, Daisy, the sisters and Ben. And when the connection did come through, it was one that I never guessed making it a total surprise! If you like a good love story, if you like a good paranormal story, if you like a good combination of both - this is a must read book. I loved it! But, read book one - Goodbye, My Love - 1st so you have the full story from the beginning. You won't regret it.

PS I love You By Maggie Tideswell

Picking up where Goodbye My Love left off, PS I Love You answers most of our questions about Ben, Jess, Edith, Daisy Jasmin and the whole crew of creepy characters that we met in the first book.

Tideswell switches easily between the present-day Ben and Jessica who are beginning to recognize their love for each other and Daisy and Jamin sixty years in the past. This sequel to Goodbye My Love contains just as many mysteries as the first book and the house doesn’t behave itself any better. We see more heartbreak as the lovers encounter the barriers to their happily ever after.

Eventually we discover who Edith is and what is wrong with Amber. Ben begins to emerge from the past and plan for the future. The mysteries around the sisters-in-law are revealed. I'm still wondering what creepy crawly thing bit Jess, but that's minor.

Tideswell’s powerful writing allows us to hate the evil people and cry with the hardships faced by our heroes. We know that love must triumph in the end, but there are plenty of twists, turns and surprises along the way.The answers come through the magic of the past combined with some surprising modern technology and of course, through the power of love.

Jess was trying to make sense of the visions she had. Could they be real? Were they revealing things to her? All Jess knew was how odd this house was. Having Ben's ex sisters in law descending on the place was creepy. Now if they can just put together all the information. Ben is worried for his daughter and Jess. Will they be able to get away before anything happens? They were sure hoping so.

This addictive book would make a wonderful TV show. There are enough elements to please everyone. Romance, love, family, hate, pain, fear, mystery and fantasy. The characters leap off the page. The book is very well written. You can lose yourself in this book. With so much happening around the area, no place was safe. You won't put this book down easily. You feel compelled to read until it's finished. GET THIS BOOK!

I didn't find any issues.

I gave this one 5 cheers out of 5 because this one blew my mind. ~Copy of book provided by author and I voluntarily reviewed it.

Didn't quite live up to book 1 IMO.

This is just my opinion however I felt that the doubts raised [in the first book] about the main characters (Jess & Ben, especially the former) were not resolved by this second book in the series.

It all started well, got mixed up, started to straighten, got mixed up again, and had several points where it could have been resolved (in many respects) but simply went around the loop again.

Sometimes this can be a useful plot path; this time it just didn't gel for me in that I felt the story should have been resolved in this book rather than extending to a third one.

(In addition, I really wanted to "permanently resolve" a few of the supporting characters and cannot understand why they were allowed to remain - guess that's why I'm a reader not a writer...)

I hate cliffhangers!

I hate cliffhangers! I really do. Just get it all in one book.
This was a little hard to grasp, jumping back and forth between stories, but I got it. I just really dislike it when authors split one story into several books just to sell more books.
