Wow! Insanity is the perfect book for Halloween! Thirteen macabre stories.
Josh decides to take Tina to a secluded cave he had visited often during his childhood.
As the legend goes, in 1880 the Utes claimed parts of the mountain. The white settlers wanted to smuggle the silver from the mountain without the Utes or the government's involvement. War was raged. The Shaman was captured and was the only survivor. He decided to summon a demon for revenge. Then the smugglers all began to commit some acts of atrocity against their families and friends.
After the earthquake of 2011, the Shining Mountain Quake, Josh never visited the cave again until now.
If you enjoy reading gruesome, murderous stories in intricate detail, then this book is a must read! Will you be infected?
Ed Bar writes different types of genres and this by far is my favorite! His creative imagination to gory details and how the stories link is superb!

This is probably the most horror book I've read in a very long time. It is an anthology however as one story ends it flows into another and when your done you realize how they are all linked together. From the first turn of the page until the last line you read the author takes you on his journey of Insanity. As horrific as some of the events were that happened there was definitely snark in there to break it up. I'm not sure which story i enjoyed the most. I definitely recommend to anyone that enjoys slasher books and some off the wall antics I've never seen before

This was my very first Ed Bar book and holy crap, it will definitely not be my last. A total twisted mind f*@#!! If you like horror stories you are gonna love this anthology.

Wow! I don't know if I have enough words to explain how much this anthology rocked! I haven't ever read anything as dark, but I am hooked. I loved how each story was interconnected and everything flowed together. If you want a great, gory mindf*ck...this is for you! Thank you Ed for a great read, can't wait to see more from you!

I'm not one for reading horror and this is my first Ed Bar book...Holy damn this sucked me in the writing is fantastic and captured me from the start..Fans of the genre are in for a real treat with one.

Horror anthology or memoir?
As a PA for Ed, I was excited to read Insanity. I shared teasers everywhere I could think of. But when I finally had time to read it, I think It started to ruin my life. I had bad dreams, got in a big argument with my brother, was unofficially fired as a PA, lost a friend, came real close to being dumped by my boyfriend, a family friend died, then my Goodreads profile was temporarily deleted and we all know that Amazon is deleting reviews so all of mine disappeared. So I do recommend reading this book. It dares you to read it.....

Great book. 13 stories full of gore and just plain gruesome context. I loved how Ed Bar intertwined all stories. Highly recommended for fans of horror!

Barb Perfect for my horror binge during the Halloween season. I really liked how this story hooked all the characters together simply by a chance meeting. How can insanity come so easy?
