Cassie McLennan, a strong-willed university student with an insatiable curiosity, seems to find herself in hot water on a regular basis. When a mysterious Tibetan monk appears in her professor’s office, her nosy curiosity once again lures her into investigating. Only, this is one mystery she should have left well alone when she realizes that the monk is murdered and she is the only one who can identify his killers.
Alaric Neumann has lived for hundreds of years as a recluse and is comfortable with his lifestyle. It’s simple, quiet, and predictable. That is until Cassie lands herself on an assassin’s hit list, and he finds himself in the role of her protector. Without his help, she won’t live to see her next birthday. However, the complication she brings into his life is more than just her fiery temper and her infuriating cousin Alex. Alaric’s attraction to her is a temptation he is helpless to avoid but claiming his mate could see him banished to the Underworld.
K.G Inglis is the author with a refreshingly original take on paranormal romance/suspense novels. When not writing about the sexy vampires and alpha lycans and dragons, she can be found reading about them and spending time with her family. Native to Australia, she lives in a beach town on the Southern Coast which many call a holiday destination. If you like your men hot and the action steamy, mixed with a heavy dose of humour then the Eternal series will find a space in your ‘must read again’ collection.
In my opinion this is the #1 book and series Amazon has to offer in reading entertainment today.
It is a magnificent magical world full of supernatural entertainment; erotically romantic, dramatically adventurous, intriguingly thrilling, mysteriously suspenseful, topped off with a heavy sprinkling of humor woven throughout each standalone book in the Eternal Series beginning with Eternal Covenant.
It surpassed my every reading and eye candy expectation. Ratings:
Are there angels among us What a fantastic new take on vampires and the supernatural! I love how the author begins the story with the start of it all and the detail that she went into to describe each scene just draws you in where you can almost feel the sun at your back and the sand under your feet. She really blended the supernatural with truth perfectly creating a mix that is as compelling as it is almost believable. I enjoyed that her characters had a depth to them that just enhanced the story and the overall reading experience. I fell in love with each of them and can’t wait to see what happens next. This story is filled with action and danger, intrigue and betrayal, creating a story that I just didn’t want to put down until the very end.
Eternal Covenant by K.G. Inglis is a wonderful story to read. I loved reading this story very much cause it has romantic suspense threw the whole story and this is written by a brand new author for me. I highly recommend this story to everyone who loves reading about romantic suspense, erotic and paranormal romance.

I loved this book! There's so many twists that it keeps you on your toes. I made a few guesses while reading, and was on the right track, but didn't figure it out in time. 😂 It tells how the first ever vampire came to be, which was a pretty cool way to give some background to this book. I highly recommend this series. You won't be disappointed!
This was a good book that just drew you in. The characters are great and bring a mix with their own uniqueness. Light and dark fight for power over earth. With endless enemies hidden in shadow it is hard to know who to trust.

K.G. is amazing writer! She brings into light a new way to bring the 1st vampire to light. Amazing story brought together from the time of Jesus to current times! Every piece of the story is well thought out!
This was such a great book. From the very start I was pulled in and couldn’t put down. The story had a great flow and the character work was great. I would definitely recommend reading this book.

Over the past millennia, angelic beings have been born into human bodies to serve as Angels of Death: souls pass through them after their mortal bodies die in order to ascend to a higher plane of existence. Jesus was a particularly powerful angel and his crucifixion opened up a portal between the planes of existence so that souls could ascend on their own. From his blood, the first vampire was born. Sammael had been an angelic human, but with his newfound powers, he was given the ability to stand up to his angelic brethren, like Lucifer, whose plans for humanity were more nefarious.
In modern times, the Dalai Lama is the keeper of the Holy Grail and the Spear of Destiny is safely stowed, but dark forces are rising up with plans to change all that. A monk comes to England for aid when the chalice goes missing, but he doesn't get far. He's murdered on the Oxford campus and anthropology student Cassie has a pretty good idea who did it. In fact, the culprit now appears to be after her. Luckily, she's got a lot working in her favor. Between her cousin, their intuitive powers, and the indomitable force that is vampire Alaric, Cassie just might be able to get to the bottom of this mystery and help keep the world safe in the process.
This was an interesting adventure and definitely a departure from the usual vampire lore. I look forward to seeing how the world expands over the course of the series.

I loved this story, Such a new and fresh take on the supernatural world. The author blends real historical events and people with mythology and pure imagination. The story almost feels real, especially since many of the issues they deal with are exactly what we deal with on a day to day basis, except with a supernatural twist which makes it all so, so much better. This story has it all, forbidden love, it is erotically romantic, dramatically adventurous, intriguingly thrilling, mysteriously suspenseful, topped off with a heavy sprinkling of humor woven throughout. It quite literally keeps you on the edge of your seat eager to turn the next page. I couldn't recommend this book more highly. I can't wait to read book 2.
From college student to thrust into a world humans know nothing of, Cassie’s story is an epic one. The story takes a while to get going, and it’s too descriptive in some parts (I really don’t need that much detail about fireplaces), but then the surplus of detail pays off in the sensuality of the intimate scenes. The addition of Eternity Begins as a prologue was much appreciated (it’s a fascinating backstory). The build-up to the final scenes are dramatic, through I fully saw the reveal coming (but no spoilers here). I’m looking forward to Alex’s story in Eternal Possession.
Good read with action, suspense, witty dialogue in addition to great chemistry between the two main characters. I voluntarily received this book for an honest review.
This was such a great book, it was a fantastic read. It pulled me in from the very first page and I couldn’t put it down it’s full of action suspense mystery danger assassins erotic and paranormal romance witty dialogue great chemistry romance and love. I loved Cassie and Alaric together they had a great chemistry. I just can’t wait to read more.

The first book in the Eternal Series a well written Vampire story that kept me turning pages. The story has suspense, drama, danger, evil, villains, and romance. I see this is a four book series I will be reading the other three. I received a copy of this book via Booksprout and am voluntarily leaving a review.
This was a fascinating story. It is definitely a steamy romance involving a vampire, angels, werewolves and other fantasy creatures. Cassie and her cousin (who is like a brother to her) visit a new night club to see what is going on. They encounter something they don't expect and Cassie gets help from Alaric. It turns out that the night club is a club for vampires and Alaric is a really old vampire. Cassie earns the animosity of Jarvis and Alaric feels the need to protect her. After Cassie is the last person to see a Tibetan monk alive and placing Jarvis at the scene of the crime, her life is in even more danger. Cassie and her cousin Alex find themselves in the middle of a supernatural war with creatures they had no idea even existed. Cassie and Alaric are drawn to each other in a way that neither is able to resist - even though Alaric tries his best because if he gives in he will be banished to the Underworld. The story was fast paced and very entertaining. It was a new paranormal version of past events that I had not heard before. I found it fascinating how the author put together angels, fallen angels, vampires, werewolves and other supernatural beings all into one world. I am looking forward to reading the other books in the series.
Cassie's life is about to change forever but will she survive the assassins, the supernatural, and a new relationship with Alaric? As an unassuming university student, her interest lies more in books than in solving mysteries. But after witnessing a murder, her new reality slams into her full force with deadly enemies coming after her. Can she survive long enough to save the world? A supernatural twist on a religious legend full of drama, intimacy and intrigue.
I enjoyed this unique paranormal read. It gives a very different view of angels and vampires, mixes in religious mythos and Arthurian relics, and includes murder, mystery, assassins, mates, drama, and danger. Very complex and compelling characters. I am eager to see where the next book leads.

Promising start but turned very bizarre to me. The third person POV did not work for me, it made me feel really separated from the characters. It was a third person POV framed following Cassie's POV or Alex's. I didn't like it. The romance didn't feel like it was on page, at least at the depth the characters felt.
I couldn’t put this book down! Cassie is such a relatable heroine, smart, stubborn, and a little too curious for her own good. The mix of university life, ancient secrets, and a brooding immortal protector made this feel like Twilight meets The Da Vinci Code. The pacing was perfect, and Alaric? Total mystery wrapped in danger. Loved it.
3.5 Stars This was a great start to a new series. The character work and story line were well written. I did have a hard time connecting to the characters.

Allow two days for this adult supernatural paranormal eschatological quest set near Oxford, England to keep Ahriman from taking over the world but do not read in public as chortles will ensue. I had a review copy from Bookfunnel and this is my voluntary review. 4 1/2*
