While I’d give it 1, the dialogue was cringey and not something I set out to willingly read but it scored highly with the intended audience, my son rates it 10 stars.

Super cute and engaging novel adaptation from the LEGO movie. I remember books like these being awful when I was a kid. This novel is well done. My son and I read it every night, noting the differences between the book and the movie. It was a great lesson in adaptation and creative license. If your kid is a fan of Ninjago, they will love this book.

a nice option for us to push past picture books. my 5 year old had seen the movie, so he was able to stay interested in this.
