He began his TV career as a writer on two seasons of Doctor Who, and wrote two novelizations of his stories under the pseudonym John Lydecker.

Sebastian Becker,special investigator of the Visitor in Lunacy becomes interested in the suicide of Joseph Sachsm, a Bethlam resident, because of melancholy due the death of his wife.
An enjoyable short story
