I was excited to be chosen for a chance to read before it was released. I enjoyed the first book Dangerous After Dark (Book 1), and ready to dig deeper into characters I was already vested in. It’s not necessary to read the first book, but I loved it. This book reeled me right back in. Watching how things develop, and relating to how we try to hide our own secrets, kept me on the edge of my seat. Dig in and watch how Trish handles the twists thrown at her. You won’t regret it.

Move over pre-Annastasia, ego-maniac Christian Grey!!! Detective Thomas is in the house! Finally realizing being a playboy is overrated, only one woman has captured him, and she can't even stand him. Doing whatever it takes to win her over, he never thought she would be in the middle of a murder investigation. Now he has to do whatever it takes to bring the bad guys down and keep the woman he loves safe.

Author Erin Thornton continues her Dangerous series with Dangerous Calculations. Just like Dangerous After Dark, this novel is full of suspense and romance, and of course, danger! The author doesn't shy away from making her villain truly evil and monstrous. I did not see the twist at the end coming. I can't believe how fast I read through this! It was the perfect book to take on vacation.

Dangerous Calculations...where do I even begin? Trish and Brian's hilarious banter had me goofy smiling quite a few times. I was excited to see familiar characters (Patrick and Grace) and look forward to hopefully getting Sal's story because of course she has to find love! All in all, another great read from Erin!

Like Dangerous After Dark, I was completely vested in the characters in Dangerous Calculations. Trish drew me in and made me completely sympathetic to her internal struggles, as well as the awful, external struggles she faced. I loved that she was strong and smart enough to not cower in the corner, but when her instincts told her something was off, she took initiative to figure out what it was and how to deal with it. This is not yesterday's "damsel in distress"!

The blossoming love story was superb!. I loved being part of the growing relationship and that the author didn't make it the forefront of the whole story. Trish and Brian were more of a "real-life" couple and the author made them extremely believable and relate-able.

Bad guys were truly bad. Horribly bad. Psychotically bad. And I loved them! One was stomach-turning-did-I-read-that-right nasty! And his deeds were truly despicable.

Also important to note that our favorite characters from Dangerous After Dark were also included in Dangerous Calculations, and it was nice to "catch up" with them, even though they weren't all part of the main story of Calculations.

So excited to see what the 3rd book brings!! Go Erin Thornton! Great job with your first (of many) books!

Its the perfect blend of sad and heart warming. Then the bromance with Brain and Patrick is so awesome to see. This book also shows the raw side of an eating disorder.
