Jack Cooper, current Hollywood It man, has a blockbuster new movie in the works all about redemption--only he's never had to apologize for anything in his life, and he knows how lucky that makes him.
To prepare for the role and score some publicity points along the way, Jack undertakes a round-the-country tour to make amends with those whose lives he's inadvertently harmed. What Jack doesn't realize, however, is that fate is taking a ride-a-long on his redemption tour, and each of his long-overdue apologies will lead to unexpected romance...
Forgetting Jack Cooper: The Outlaw Edition
Always hanging out on the edge of trouble, Chantal Green didn’t so much mind taking the fall for Jack back in high school—it was worth it to get under the hood of old man Hassel’s prized Ferrari. Fast forward ten years, and Chantal’s racked up a string of misdemeanors and a whole lot of miles under her chromed-out wheels. She’s now the successful owner of Sex Machina, a high-end custom motorcycle and gear shop that has her on the road constantly, where she most wants to be. Sure, she wonders what it’d be like to have a real home and sense of community, but that’s not on the horizon for her.
When Chantal gets Jack Cooper’s redemption-tour invite, her first thought is to ignore it. But the publicity would be sweet, so…
For military vet Luc Martin, home has special meaning. He never expected to be caring for his great aunt and uncle—or taking over their French bakery in Panama City Beach—after his second tour of duty, but he can’t deny he loves it. He’s traveled the world over and he’s ready to stop and watch the sunset more, even if it’s a little lonely watching it all by himself. Then a vision in spiked motorcycle boots roars into his shop, and Luc suddenly finds himself wondering if maybe his definition of home is all wrong…and if maybe a tough-talking biker with a heart of gold is worth chasing, even if she’s mostly running from herself.

I give Forgetting Jack Cooper, The Outlaw Edition by Jennifer Chance Five Stars. This is book two of the Forgetting Jack Cooper series, is very well written and is a quick read. I would not recommend reading this as a standalone I would recommend reading the whole series and in order.
Jack Cooper, a Hollywood Actor, is on his Forgiveness Tour and his next stop is to Chantal Green. Chantal was always near trouble so the one night Jack and his friends decided to break into Old Man Hassel's garage to that his prize Ferrari for a spin, Chantel was right there and ended up taking the fall for them. This made her the woman she is today and she is now the successful owner of a custom motorcycle and gear shop called Sex Machina. So when she get the invite from Jack to be a part of the Forgiveness Tour she decided to meet with him.
Luc Martin decided to make Panama With Beach his home after leaving the Military. He now runs his great aunt & uncles French bakery there. When Chantel walked into his bakery he feels instant chemistry and his vision of "home" starts changing from that moment forward. Does Luc and Chantel give in to the Chemistry or does something in Chantel's pass ruin any chance they have at happiness. To find out you must read this book!
Forgetting Jack Cooper: The Outlaw Edition by Jennifer Chance
This is book two in the Forgetting Jack Cooper saga. This is the first book I have ever read written by Jennifer Chance and it wont be the last. I love the way she writes. I really fell in love with the characters in the story.
In the Outlaw Edition Jack takes us to Panama City, Florida. We meet Chantal Green. Jack seeks to apologize to Chantel because thanks to Jack and some of his friends Chantel ended up in jail. Jack arranges to meet her at a local pastry shop. When Chantel goes to the pastry shop to meet Jack it is there she meets Luc Martin and everything changes.
I love the opposites attract stories and I must say Luc and Chantel are definitely that. Luc and Chantel show us that opposites do attract. This story is amazing and my favorite of all of them thus far. My heart was swooning through out this story and I fell in love with Chantel and Luc and found myself rooting for them. Their chemistry was amazing. With each story in this series it gets better and better and I can't wait for the next book.
Loved this sweet story by Jennifer Chance. It's part of the Forgetting Jack Cooper series, and ties into Hollywood hottie Jack Cooper's making the rounds to make amends for his past wrongs. Chantal Green is one of those stops--she took the fall for Jack back in high school, and now he's meeting her at some French bakery to make his apology.
Owner of said bakery Luc Martin takes one look at this cool, collected high-end custom motorcycle and gear shop owner and falls like a ton of bricks. He recognizes her tender heart and wants to show her that not only won't he tie her down, he plans to give her wings and a soft place to land.
Luc is quite the memorable hero AND his aunt and uncle are adorable. They all aim to show us that love makes a home for all of us <3
Will definitely look forward to the rest of the Forgetting Jack Cooper series, and more by Jennifer Chance!
This story is part of the series that about actor Jack Cooper’s research for a new part. A role about a man seeking redemption . Jack feels that in order to play the role well, he needs to find his own redemption for things and people he has wronged. This time he wants to apologize to Chantal Green and sets up a meeting at a pastry shop in Panama CIty, FL. There she meets Luc Martin. She has a history of getting in trouble or having it follow her. He was ,military, all honor and doing the right thing. I have read two of the books in this series, and this is the best of them. I feel in love with Chantald, Luc and his great aunt and uncle. Chantal and Luc appear to want different things. But somehow, goals change , eyes are opened to new possibilities, and love blossoms. I was gifted this copy. The opinions expressed are solely my own.
This is book two in the Forgetting Jack Cooper saga, and was really good. This is my first read by this author and I am so glad that I had the chance to read this book.
in this book Jack Cooper is going to make amends with Chantal Green, she spent time in jail thanks to Jack and his friends. Jack has arrange to meet Chantal at a local bakery and Chantal did not see coming was the man behind the counter, Luc Martin.
Luc and Chantal have a great relationship going till a ex of Chantal's targets Luc's family bakery and Chantal decides since she is only in town for a short while and that trouble seems to follow her that the relationship was not a good idea, but Luc has other ideas, will Chantal want to make things work when she hears Luc's plan???
When Chantal agrees to meet up with Jack Cooper so that he can atone, she doesn’t see how a bakery could possibly be the best location for this apology. Then she meets Luc, and his aunt and uncle, and comes to realise it was a perfect setting.
This is not only a fun and sizzling romp, it’s a heart-warming story of love. I adored the characters – Chantal is an earthy, spunky heroine, and Luc is a genuine and charismatic hero. Their chemistry is instant and tantalising, and watching their romance blossom is adorable. I particularly enjoyed the éclair scene (which I won’t explain because: spoiler!).
Forgetting Jack Cooper: the Outlaw Edition is a story about finding your roots and then being willing to fly knowing they are going to be there when you need them. This is my favorite of the series so far. There is something about Luc and Chantal that drew me in immediately. They are both looking for what the other has and watching them both figure it out was great fun. There is a brief cameo by Jack, but this story is all theirs.
I have to admit when this story started I didn't expect to be drawn into the story. However, I became very intrigued by this story. Chantal and Luc did not seem like they should fit as a couple, but as the story moved forward I found myself rooting for those two to became a couple all the time! And I loved Luc's aunt and uncle! They were so cute! This was definitely a great addition to the Forgetting Jack Cooper series.
I received an advance reader copy for honest review!
I was given this book in exchange for a fair review. I really enjoyed this book not only do you get to learn a little more about Jack Cooper there is a sweet love story. I love how all the books connect but each story has its own twist and love story.
