80களில் வெளியான புத்தகம். அமெரிக்கா, ஐரோப்பிய NRIகளுக்கு நம்மூர் பெண்களை மணமுடித்து வைப்பது பிரபலமாக இருந்த காலகட்டத்தில், அதில் உள்ள சிக்கல்களை தெரியப்படுத்த மக்களுக்காகவே கதையாக்கியிருக்கிறார் ஆசிரியர். ஒரு அப்பாவி கிராமத்து பெண்ணை அமெரிக்காவில் வேலை செய்யும் ஒருவன் தேடி வந்து மணமுடிக்கின்றான். அவள் அவனோடு அமெரிக்காவிற்கு சென்று சேர்ந்தப்பிறகுதான் அவனது வண்டவாளங்களை அறிகிறாள். அவனிடமிருந்து அவள் எப்படி தப்புகிறாள் என்பதுதான் கதை.

Eye opener for tamil people blindly marrying their daughters to NRIs in 80's. Very nice book, even though its a fiction, you feel its happening to your next door girl..
