Peter and Mike are back from their latest overseas mission and this time, nothing will stop them from claiming the woman they love. Lilly isn't too sure about their motives, but when both of her dream guys put the move on her, she's powerless to resist one of her dearest fantasies coming true. But can it last long term? Dare she take a chance and find out?
Bianca D'Arc is the USA Today bestselling author of over 100 romance titles. She has been published traditionally, by a few notable small presses, and indie. Before becoming a full-time writer, she ran a laboratory, a legal department, and jetted around the country on business while working for a Fortune 500 engineering firm.
I just love the way this author thinks. This book may not be long, but it contains so much story. I really enjoyed the way the author was able to infuse the characters background relationship into every step forward in their reconnection. She did a fantastic job of making the evolution of their threesome flow so naturally with the story. I would have loved for the story to be a little longer because it was just that good. I am so glad they managed to find their HEA and can’t wait to see what happens with the rest of the unit.
3.5 Stars This story is short, fast paced and steamy. I liked Mike, Peter and Lily. I was rooting for them to get together. The chemistry between them was clear to see. I couldn’t get my head around Peter and Mike’s talent/secret ability. I found it a little weird that when Peter was sleeping with Lily, Mike was seeing it through Peter’s eyes. He wasn’t even in the house at the time. The storyline for this book is easy to follow and a nice story. I cannot wait to read Jay’s story.
The premise behind The Gemini Project is an interesting one. I hope that as the series progresses this series idea is expanded to include more action that the premise can create. Lili, Mike and Pete have developed a great friendship, which was a great starting point to this series.
D'Arc really has a way of making her characters come to life. Awesome storytelling with lots of heat and hot men. When a special operation soldiers find their mate nothing is going to stand in their way.
The Gemini Team aspect was a bit... I don't know the word - gimmicky? Also the initial reaction - sure the rest of it was reasonable and all but the kissing in the bar - everyone could have seen and did - and nothing/no reaction? In a crowd? Detracted from the story - flaw that colored too much.
A sexy, hot short. Lilly liked both Peter and Mike before they were deployed on a mission, and now that they're back she decides to go with the first to make a move. Surprise for her - they're already used to sharing everything.
A quick read with a very short take-off run, Lilly falls in bed with Peter and Mike and ILY´s are exchanged within a few pages and she´s moving in with them, pronto. Smexin and threesome.
Cliched, cringe worthy writing, zero characterizations, mostly expository and really boring. "Bad Boys, Bad Boys", the other Love Bites short story I read is fine literature compared to this.
