This is a book for a cohesive team that based on Patrick Lencioni work in a summary. This book is executive summary in Thai language for better understanding about Patrick's Concept about the Five Dysfunctions of a team, The Five Dysfunctions of a Team outlines the root causes of politics and dysfunction on the teams where you work, and the keys to overcoming them. Counter to conventional wisdom, the causes of dysfunction are both identifiable and curable. However, they don't die easily. Making a team functional and cohesive requires levels of courage and discipline that many groups cannot seem to muster. The Model as below
Dysfunction #1: Absence of Trust
The fear of being vulnerable with team members prevents the building of trust within the team.
Dysfunction #2: Fear of Conflict
The desire to preserve artificial harmony stifles the occurrence of productive ideological conflict.
Dysfunction #3: Lack of Commitment
The lack of clarity or buy-in prevents team members from making decisions they will stick to.
Dysfunction #4: Avoidance of Accountability
The need to avoid interpersonal discomfort prevents team members from holding one another accountable.
Dysfunction #5: Inattention to Results
The pursuit of individual goals and personal status erodes the focus on collective success.

O livro mostra as cinco principais 'disfunções' que atrapalham uma equipe, o autor passa suas informações por meio de uma história e não diretamente, como é comum nos livros de auto-ajuda ou focados em empresas, assim, usa a personagem Kathryn, que recém assume o posto de CEO de uma empresa no Vale do Silício para expressar suas ideias e mostrar a aplicação de suas ideias na prática. As disfunções estão relacionadas à confiança, conflito saudável, cobrança de responsabilidade, comprometimento e foco em resultados; o autor apresenta essas disfunções de uma forma piramidal, como se uma levasse a outra. É um livro que contém ideias interessantes e que podem, e algumas devem, ser aplicadas no mundo empresarial para obter um melhor clima entre as equipes e alcançar o tão sonhado 'resultado', no entanto muitos dos conceitos envolvidos no livro podem ser aplicados em outros tipos de equipes, como em famílias ou relacionamentos amorosos.

As a group, be open about weaknesses and mistakes to facilitate trust.
Everybody needs to be committed to decisions, no matter what the consensus is.
Hold a common goal instead of looking for individual results.

I've never been so interested in a board meeting. Great flow, interesting ideas, great for thinking about my team and its development and my ability to lead.
