When it came to the grueling challenges of a courtroom, Phoebe Alexandria Rose could win her case on any day. As one of the lead attorneys at Rose and Garnet LLC, Phoebe enjoyed collecting information, breaking down the facts, and sealing her victory with an airtight litigation. On the outside looking in, Phoebe appeared to have it all together, but it was her personal life that she struggled to manage the most. Being in love from afar with her brother’s best friend had been a prison sentence for as long as Phoebe could remember. And unfortunately for her, this sentence might be one fight she’s not prepared to go up against.
Business tycoon and fitness expert Quentin Davidson was considered off limits when it came to matters of the heart. Even with the trail of women lined up to be his next leading lady, Quentin made no promises of anything more than a late-night rendezvous. But when it came to his best friend’s sister, Phoebe, all bets were off. Trying to stay away from her hadn’t lessened the crescendo of emotions that fluttered through his core and heated his blood with just the mere thought of her. And when Quentin decides to throw caution to the wind to pursue Phoebe, he’ll risk everything to prove he has what it takes to seal her happiness for all time.
The Falling for a Rose series follows each member of the Rose family as they explore this thing called love. However, each book is just as enjoyable if read as a standalone as it is if read in the series order.

This was a cute story to me on how Phoebe Rose & Quentin Davidson (Jonathan & Jordan Rose's best friend) finally get together...Phoebe has secretly had a crush on Quentin for years and it appears that they have always had a good bond. But, what Phoebe didn't know was the fact that Quentin secretly had a crush on her too...but he was bound by brother/guy code not to touch any of the young Rose sisters. Of course, things happen and the two start seeing each other, but must get the approval of the Rose brothers....I love this story behind Phoebe & Quentin, but the truth of the matter is I didn't rate it any higher because of the poor narration.
Lately SNN’s books have been hit or miss for me but, Mine was absolutely wonderful. I just loved Phoebe and Quentin! The chemistry between them was hot! Phoebe has been in love with Quentin most of her life. What she doesn’t know is, Quentin was in love with her too but he wouldn’t acted on it because, he promised her brothers he would never date her. You see, Quentin was a dirty dog back in the day and the Rose brothers didn’t want him anywhere near their sisters. Phoebe finally got the courage to shoot her shot and, lets just say, it did not go well. Quentin was trying to be a gentleman and honor his friend’s wishes by letting Phoebe down easy but, all he managed to do was bruise her ego and hurt her feelings. Phoebe got tired of her brothers trying to run her life and pretty much told Quentin, shyt or get off the toilet. It’s now or never partner. He decided to follow his heart and make Phoebe his woman but, not without pissing off the Rose brothers. After a heart to heart with the brothers and Mr. Rose, they realize they’ve been unfair to Quentin and gave him their blessing. Phoebe and Quentin were absolutely adorable as a couple. He wooed her and showed her he was worthy of her love. I loved when Quentin surprised Phoebe with a meet and greet with Geri Halliwell and the rest of The Spice Girls. Now, if that’s not true love, I don’t know what is. I wanted to slap the pure dee piss out of that heffa Cindy. I can’t stand a malicious bytch and she knew exactly what she was doing. Phoebe should’ve gone right upside her head. But, I fault Quentin for that. He knew he had a prior sexual relationship with that woman and, as soon he started dating Phoebe, he should’ve transferred her to another location. I swear men act like they can't use common sense. Mine was a delightful read. It honestly gave me all the feels. I’m so glad the Rose brothers stop trying to run Phoebe’s life and let her have her HEA with Quentin.

"Mine" by Stephanie Nicole Norris
My Thoughts...
In Book 7 "Mine" was about Phoebe Rose and that wonderful Quentin Davidson. Those protective Rose brothers were quite the men when it came to protecting their baby sister Phoebe. Will these brothers let a friendship get in their way of this situation? With Quentin having quite a reputation with the ladies...will he be willing to change his ways for Miss Phoebe? Well, to see how well this author brings it out to the reader you will have to pick up "Mine" to find out and see if Phoebe and Quentin will finally get this situation all worked out to find their HEA.
Okay, the beginning was more to these stories other that men being obsessed about their woman... character names are different but it all sounds to same to me. But the ending took a twist for the better, so I'm changing my mind about this book...
To be young and in love. Phoebe isn't my favorite of the triplets, so the fact that she went through so many ups and downs when it came to her dealings with Quentin weren't lost on me, yet I never want to see anyone hurting or confused when the heart is at the center, so I digress. I liked this one and the Man of Steele, Quentin Davidson, tried with all his might to keep his pact with his "brothers" not to date their sister, but the heart wants what it wants.
Now, as for this Cindy chick, Phoebe is a better woman than me, bc we would've had a conversation and some furniture would've been moved bc she knew what she was doing. Yet, I'm glad Cindy got her mind right😏 and that Quentin, finally, put her in her place. That whole debacle could've been bypassed had he did what he knew he had to in the first place.
That ending was so great. As a Spice Girls Super fan myself (Spice Up Ya Life😜), I was over the moon with all of the happenings that included them.
Overall, I'm glad it all came together, for the family, friendships and this budding relationship. Another great story. Now, I'm ready to see what's going on with Mr. Jordan and Ms. Selena. Should be interesting. On to the next book in this incredible series.
Phoebe and Quentin's book was not my favorite Rose book, but it was ok.
When Quentin decided he was all in for Phoebe and he went to the brothers, I thought they were extremely hypocritical. If they could change for the women they loved, why couldn't he? If I recall, there was only one, maybe 2 of the brothers that hit him with "you don't seem ready to take that step" instead of the "you are incapable of taking that step" reasoning.
My issue was the way Quentin handled the assistant situation. He knew what time it was and he didn't shut that down. He also didn't handle it with Phoebe like he knew he should.
The brothers treated Phoebe like they did, being overprotective and disregarding or dismissing her feelings. It made me wonder how they treated the other 2 sisters in the set of triplets?
I'm not sure about why the case Jordan and Phoebe were working on was relevant. Was it just add information about their careers? Was it to show that Phoebe was intelligent, strong, independent, and successful in her own right? It was interesting, but I'm not sure how much that added to the overall story.
There were romantic parts of the book. There were parts that dragged a bit for me. I can say the book definitely evoked emotion, good, bad, and indifferent, lol.
The narration was ok. I understand narration is a very subjective thing. I might go back and read the book. I just wasn't feeling the male narrator as Quentin. My recommendation would be that you read it and judge for yourself.

Quentin and Phoebe story had all the element of a wonderful . I was given an opportunity to read love measured and grows from , teenage years to adulthood. And also a woman fight for independence from her overwhelming and overprotective brothers. I must point out that I have read " Mine " about 4 times and I am now taking this opportunity to write a review. The intense chemistry ,was surely there and It was engaging emotional read and I can't wait for the rest in the series My only disappointment personally is Quentin got of easily . I could never quite understand when a man says he so in love for donkey years ....(pardon my trini slang) and no other women could hold a candle to this particular one but yet still sowing his oats . And when his pass comes back to haunt him and apology is acceptable and he expects it to sufficed. In this read I have to say thank God for Cindy , stepping forward and confessing to phoebe about what is and isn't. And thank God for this wonderful Author for producing and completing these amazing stories .
They say the most forbidden love makes for a great love story. This was undeniably a love story that was brewing for forever and we were able to watch it 1st hand boil over in this book. Phoebe was sure about a lot of this and great at what she does but baby the way she hides/was hidden behind her brothers was disheartening. However when she gets a backbone it’s everything to stand up for love it Is everything.
Quentin is the ladies man and keeps them in rotation with his sex and nothing else to offer. He is upfront but the ladies still want a go. But what you can’t take away from him is he is about his business and doing damn well for his self. So it’s understandable that his best friends would never see the day that he settles down and to have eyes for Phoebe when she is the sister of his best friend. When he makes his interest know and stands by them even with the rocky road ahead. The chemistry between the two is sexy as hell and you can feel it coming off the pages. The stand off and standing up for your love was everything in this book. Loved everything about the book.
I would find myself, telling myself to just breath.
This review will be about all of the Falling For A Rose book series. I discovered this author quite by accident with the first book in the series, and let me tell you she does not disappoint. Her stories and way of writing them are intriguing, honest, heart felt, warm and ohhhh so romantic. At times I would find myself holding my breath, to the point I had to tell my self to breathe. Every time I finish a book I say definitely my favourite, but then a new one comes out and it becomes my favourite as well. Stephanie Nicole Norris you are up there with the best in this romance game girl, and you have a fan for life. PLEASE keep the Rose books coming, me being an African-American woman living in China, reading is my only entertainment here, and I truly, truly love it. P.s. side note You don't have to wait years and crazy months for the next book, I LOVE THAT!!! BRAVO Ms. Norris, BRAVO!!!
Oh man...MINE was absolutely wonderful. Once I got started, it was so hard to put down. The chemistry between the main couple was totally off the page! That's saying a lot especially since I love all the Rose men she has written so far. Quentin Davidson though, man...Phoebe is one lucky lady!
The struggles this couple went through, it was really hard on both ends because they knew what ever they decided, they'll either end up hurting each other and/or the people they love. I am glad everything worked out in the end.
This series is highly recommended! This is a stand alone but if you haven't read the previous books, you may not know some of the characters. The author does a good job explaining who they are so it is not necessary to have read the other books. But please do go read them if you haven't already!
I absolutely love and recommend this book. Quentin is so romantic and amazing. Phoebe, his Lady Love, is innocent and beautiful, but don't mess with her. She's a grown woman( Beyonce vibes)! Trying to hide their feelings can get tiresome; so when Phoebe decides to take the initiative and let Quentin know exactly what time it is...he does the unthinkable. He's her brothers' best friend and a notorious playboy so it's a slippery slope for these Chicagoans. Their adventures take us to a family wedding in Nicaragua where the steam rises and the new year festivities in Paris with a pink and gray sunset turns up the heat. The author, Stephanie Nicole Norris, writes a wonderfully graphic picture of transcontinental love with lots of surprises that unlocks the door to forever.
Finally!!!! Phoebe and Quentin get to have their time together. Their relationship went from friends to lovers, with a little family turmoil on the side. I was glad that Quentin finally said the hell with it and went after his heart. The brothers have to let the triplets live their lives, even if it's with long time friends. Every person deserves the chance to grow and change when the right person enters their lives. Phoebe knew Que was the only man to make her heart smile unconditionally without abandonment, and Que felt the same about her. You can't help who the heart loves. Now, ready for Jordan and Selena. Bring it on. This story was very good. I definitely recommend it because I couldn't put it down, just like the rest of the series.
I praise you Stephanie at writing a strong, successful black man like Quint. He knows what he wants, but because of s pact with his brothers he does not pursue Phoebe. Phoebe is such a sweet, but powerful young woman. She has her eyes locked and loaded on her brothers best friend. She tries to seduce him and it almost works. I am glad it did not though, until the timing was perfect. This book will make you go look for your own dred head. It had me on Pintrest pinning my version of this chocolate devil on my book boyfriend board !!!! Great job lady !!
I love how Phoebe and Quinton both loved each other from afar when they were young and how their love flourished through their adolescent years to adulthood. Even though most people didn't have a clue. I commend them both, because Quinton in my opinion was very dependable and protective over Phoebe as a brother and Phoebe kept herself pure for him and for him only. I felt God was definitely preparing both of them for each other to become more to one another. I love the journey for them both from beginning to end. I love the love displayed throughout the story. Great Read! ReneeG
I didn't care for this book nor did I like Phoebe Rose & Quentin Davidson. I only listened to the audible of Mine the 7th installment of the Falling For A Rose series because I hoped that it would be interesting, but it wasn't to me. I thought that Jordan, Jonathan, & all the other brother felt that Phoebe was adult enough to work as an attorney but NOT grown enough to make her own choices in her personal life. I thought Quentin was a punk for allowing the ROSE Brothers to intimidate him & hit all over him, which is why I couldn't find Quentin attractive. I only gave this a 2 star rating because it gave readers a better look at Jordan Alexander Rose.
Finally, a woman who isn’t damaged. Phoebe Rose knew exactly what she wanted, and it was Quentin Davidson. After trying to resist his feelings out of respect for the Rose Brothers, Quentin gives into Phoebe’s urges and crosses a line with her that he has vowed to never cross.
Phoebe is tired of being treated like a child by her brothers and pursues Quentin anyway. They had a cute love story and I loved that Phoebe stood up to her family for what she wanted. It didn’t hurt that Quentin was willing to take a beat down to prove all he wanted to do was love her.
This was a great read and Phoebe and Quentin have been my favorite couple so far.
When childhood friends morph into blood brothers, nothing is more sacred than a pact between family. Love has a strange way of breaking pacts and making brothers risk it all to be with that special someone. Off limits, Q finally gives into the attraction of one of the triplets. Question is, is he willing to tear up one family bond to explore a bond formed by love? A quick and exciting read. Got a little slow in the middle and I found myself skimming pages. Q is definitely a little bit extra in the end. Worth the read!
Phoebe and Quentin had to deal with loving each other in silence For way to long simply because of a “bro agreement”The day finally comes when Phoebe Rose decide enough is enough and takes her fate onto her own hands. Well things didn’t go exactly as she had planed. Quentin fought his feelings until he couldn’t any longer and he too decide to face fate had on. Well again things didn’t go exactly as he had planned either. As to not give anything away I will simply say that Love conquers all. Fun read
Quentin was Phoebe's brother's best friend. She had a crush on him for a long time. She had saved her virginity for him. When he finally gets up the nerve to act on his feelings for her, it drives a huge wedge between his friendship with her brothers. They think he is still a player and not ready to take a relationship seriously. But Quentin knows that Phoebe is the only woman he wants in his life. I enjoyed this story. He risked his friendship because he was not willing to give up his love for her. That was the moment I knew they were in love.
I really enjoyed Phoebe and Quentin's story. It was fast paced, a quick read and a great story. I loved how the Rose brother's wanted to protect their sister but how Quentin was willing to lose his close friendship and brotherhood to be with the one he loved. I look forward to Eden, Jasmine and the other brother's getting their happily ever after as well! Great job Nicole, worth the wait!
Whew, child! Men and their bro codes and friendship pacts!! Do NOT cross them!😳 I get where the Rose brothers were coming from to a certain extent. They were a close family and didn't want their sister to be hurt by someone they consider a friend and a brother, but known to be a playboy. However, sometimes, they went a little too far. After all, Phoebe was a grown @$$ woman, and could make her own decisions. There was no need to treat her like a child, or to have kept going on and on and on about what kind of player Quentin was. Kudos to Phoebe for standing her ground and asserting her independence and ability to make well-informed decisions. And while Quentin did stand up the Rose brothers--his best friends--it wasn't enough for me. When Jordan was questioning him about his assistant, Cindy and the woman at the coffee shop, he had nothing to say! Nothing! Like, why didn't he defend himself?! He couldn't admit that he'd been trying to resist Phoebe, but somehow she had his heart for years?! Geez!🙄That would have gone a long way with them. But, I was glad when Quentin finally got down to it, and accused them of being hypocrites...acting like they were the only ones who could change and be one-woman men. They were all too happy to dap it up with him before when he was "leaving broken hearts everywhere." Men! Quentin was finally fed up and went to Daddy Rose.
By the way, Quentin should have fired his assistant a long time ago. And I never understood how a person could say, "they knew from the beginning what it was...no commitments." See, that could probably work if you didn't keep sexin' with that person. If it's going to be a sex thing, do it and then move on to someone else. Otherwise, your @$$ in a relationship.
This was an interesting read! To me this book was more serious than the others! Meaning, because of the seriousness of the situation between the Rose brothers and Quinton, there was a lot of tension. Phoebe stuck to her guns in who she loved and wanted to be with! I thought Cindy should've been fired, but I was glad she stepped up and told the truth at the end! I believe everyone who reads this book will enjoy it! I definitely recommend it! On to book 8!
WOW WOW this is over the top awesome I have really enjoyed binging on this series. Oh my the characters are so believable and captivating you will be glued to the story. It's so exciting and entertaining plus the passion is sizzling steamy hot with the chemistry between them so believable if you want to read a series that will rock your world this is it
All the Rose men are married except for one which is Jordan. Now it’s time for the rose sisters to get married the first one getting married is Phoebe to Quinton Q dog. He has changed his Waze for her. I’m happy to see that he is finally settling down with the one he really loves. Now after this book which book 8 . no.nine is next I want to see the Last Baby Boy Rose 🌹 Jordan Rose get married.
Hey Phoebe girl, Congratulations 🎊 Normally I'm a girl who encourages frds to stand on business, but im so happy you folded. Cause you would've pissed me off, I glad ol girl ran into you and not Jasmine cause she would've tore a new one . Anywho, we should do lunch soon, and can you send the name of the birth control you're on again. I know you is his, and he is your but point in the direction where i can find MINE love you girly pop
This segment of The Rose family love story was cute like the rest but Phoebe wore on my patience. She was a spoiled brat that made everything about her and not once did she consider Quinton’s feelings regarding her brother’s . She made everything about her and how “grown” she was, instead of understanding and respecting the position he was in. Cindy also annoyed me heavily. I happy things worked out in the end.
