I liked this one. I took a bit of a chance on this book since I have never read anything written by Jessica Jayne and both of the narrators were new to me. It was a gamble that paid off. It is a rather quick read and I ended up listening to the bulk of it in a single day and found it to be very enjoyable.
Stacey is a thirty-one year old divorced woman who has know Ren for years since she lives next to Ren's parents. Ren is a twenty-three year old recent college graduate who has his eye set on his neighbor. Ren has spent time during the past several summers helping Stacey out around her house and they have a pretty close friendship but Ren wants more. A lot more. Stacey has some issues with the fact that she is older than Ren and she considers his mother to be one of her friends.
I liked Stacey and Ren and thought that they made a really nice couple. They know each other really well from the time before the start of this story and their personalities mesh really well. They have great chemistry together. There were times that Stacey wasn't sure she should pursue a relationship with Ren but there was never a question regarding whether she wanted him. It was nice to see her thought processes as she tried to figure things out. I loved how Ren knew what he wanted and was determined to make it happen. He stood up for their relationship and really was a good match for Stacey.
I thought that Joe Arden and Samantha Cooke did a great job with this story. I usually listen to audiobooks at regular 1x speed and I did find that felt a little slow when Samantha Cooke was reading. Once I increased the speed to 1.25x speed, the reading felt a lot more natural to me. I thought that both narrators were able to bring a lot of emotion to the story and made some scenes more intense. I liked the voices that each narrator used for the characters in the story. I would not hesitate to listen to more of both of their work in the future.
I would recommend this book to fans of contemporary romance. This was a nice quick listen that had a lot of feels and some heat. I thought that Ren and Stacey were great as a couple and I was excited to watch them figure out how to make things work. I look forward to reading more of Jessica Jayne's work in the future.

I liked this one. I thought that Ren and Stacy had a lot of chemistry with each other. I didn't really think that 8 years it too much of an age gap. Nobody would have thought anything of it if Ren had been 8 years older than Stacey. This was pretty short had all of the needed elements. I enjoyed both of the narrators and listened to this one at 1.25x speed. When I tried to listen at 1x speed, I did think that the female narrator was too slow so I started over at the increased speed and had no issues.

This was an all fine and dandy little gem. I picked it because one of my fav narrator read it but otherwise, noting special happened in this. Also, I don't really enjoy romance books that focus on characters' age as the conflict. Unless there's pedo shit going on, there's really nothing exciting/wrong about dating ppl of different age...

This book should come with a warning, lol. Warning: May cause temperature spikes *snorts* I. Loved. It.
As you’ll all be aware by now, *whispers* I turn 4-0 this year. Oi! *points finger* I can see you all rolling your eyes at me saying, ‘Here she goes again!’, but I do have a point... *smirks* which is, that being a woman of a certain age, I find the older woman, younger man dynamic quite appealing *looks at you knowingly* As my mother used to say, ‘If I can’t get one at 40, two 20-year-olds will do!’ Now you know where I get it from *winks*

I can’t even to begin to imagine the hurt and distress that 31-year-old divorcee, Stacey Williams has gone through. To find out the man you were married to had not only cheated on you with a younger woman, but got her pregnant too, is bound to knock you for six. It’s enough to make you feel stabby! With her confidence at an all time low, Ren’s declaration leaves her mind reeling. However, her hormones are making grabby hands *snorts* (and mine along with them *winks*).
As Ren awakens not just her body (hot flash alert!), but her heart (swoon), Stacey has to decide whether or not to take a chance, and let Ren love her like he wants to.
Le sigh... my only regret with this story was it over much too soon for my liking, as it was a really quick read. Well, you know me, I always want more. This book transported me, sometimes I felt like a voyeur (no comment please), sometimes a cheerleader, sometimes a protector, but mostly a friend, as Ren and Stacey shared their innermost thoughts and feelings, and hopes for the future.
As this story proves, there are no hard and fast rules when it comes to love - when it’s right, it’s right *shrugs*
Now, any chance of a Tyler/Jennifer story in the future?

I jumped at the chance to read this book, when I discovered it features one of my favourite tropes, an older woman and younger man romance. I firmly believe age should not play a factor, as long as you are consenting adults, when it comes to love.
Let Me Love You introduces Ren, a twenty-three-year-old college graduate who has been crushing on his thirty-one-year-old divorced neighbour for the past ten years. However, what he feels for now has transcend beyond a crush. He is in love with her and is determined to prove to her that he can love her the way she deserves. Now she is no longer married, the only obstacle he faces is fear of rejection. Would Stacey embrace his love or would she chalk it up to a young man looking to fulfil a fantasy of being with an older woman?
Ren, knew it would be a challenge convincing her, but he was about to let their difference in age prevent him from spending the rest of his life with the woman he loves.
This story had lots of potential and it was enjoyable for the most part. However, I believe it could have done with more development. Ren and Stacey had developed a bond of friendship over the years. However, the manner in which it was developed was not shown but instead was told, which was done mostly from Ren’s POV. I never had the chance to experience the development of their romance and such I not a 100% invested in their relationship. I knew Stacey was attracted to Ren, but it would seem her decision to be involved with Ren was based solely on promises he made to her. This is not a bad thing, but I never got the feeling that what she felt for Ren went beyond physical attraction. I would have preferred to see Ren convince Stacey of his feelings before the hot sex scene, which took place early in the story.
I understood her fears as society looks down on an older woman dating a younger man. To make matters complicated, he was her friend’s son, so her reticence came as no surprise. However, it would have been great to get a little more insight into her feelings for Ren.
I admired Ren’s determination in his pursuit of Stacey. He knew what he wanted, and he pursued it passionately. However, sometimes he appeared overbearing. There was one particular scene where his actions creeped me out and my admiration for him fell a notch, but then he redeemed himself in the end.
Conclusion/Recommendation
This was not a bad story, but it could have been so much better if it were not for the issues mentioned. If you enjoy older woman, younger man trope and looking for a short, sweet and spicy read to offer a temporary escape from reality, then Let Me Love You is the perfect read.

I truly believe one of the hardest things to rebuild in a person is their confidence. When a person experiences an event that rips through their confidence, it's a struggle to get it together again. It's even worse when you're on the outside watching them struggle because you're doing your best to help them past this hurdle and it doesn't seem to be working. At all. You could throw in the towel and walk away, give up because you don't know what else to do.
Or
you could hang in there because you know the struggle is worth what's coming.
Ren could have just moved on, found someone else closer to his age, someone not so broken, and lived his happily ever after. But his heart's been set on Stacey for so long. His youthful crush evolved into love and she is his everything long before he made her his everything. Reinforcing Stacey's qualities, helping her see herself through her own eyes instead of her ex-husband's, reassuring her that she is all he'll ever want, need, desire, lust after, and love from now until forever was a task he was, surprisingly and amazingly, up to.
This isn't just about sex. It isn't just about a cougar (if you want to call her that because, to be honest, eight years isn't that big of a difference to me but whatever) getting her groove back. It isn't about age. It isn't about social stigma and expectations.
It's about Ren knowing what was right and pursuing it relentlessly, tearing down the walls of Stacey's self-made prison, and proving she was worth it. She was worthy of happiness, faithfulness, and love that wouldn't waver or fade. She was worth all of it and so much more.
I love stories like this. In the contemporary romance world, these stories make my heart happy because this is real life in fiction. This is why authors write these kinds of stories because someone out there can relate, because stories like these are worth writing and sharing. They name the social stigma and proceed to prove why they don't matter when it comes to love.

I really enjoyed the fact that this story was all about the romance. We don't get any unnecessary drama along the way. It's focus is all on Ren seducing Stacey and showing her that he is serious about her and in turn, Stacey reacting to his feelings and deciding if she wants to pursue a relationship with him. I found that this singular plot helped to develop the characters a little more and focus on their hopes and fears about the relationship. It made the story more character focused--which is what you want in a romance.
I really liked this small cast of characters. Stacey is a great heroine. I loved watching her self confidence grow as the story progressed. As for Ren, he's a good lead. He's mature and driven but a nice guy. He was really sweet with Stacey so I understand her hardship in trying to resist him.
But what I really liked about all these characters (including the side ones like Ren's parents) was their honest and upfront conversations. I enjoyed their candid conversations and how it helped progress the story in a positive way.
While I really liked Ren and Stacey as a couple, I wanted a little more build-up to the revealing of Ren's intentions. We get told a lot that they had this great connection before the novel started; that they've talked and shared a lot over the last few years and consider each other friends. And while I never doubted Ren's intentions (ie that he wanted Stacey as a forever girl), I think it would have sold me sooner on the romance if I had seen some of that tension build between them.

This was a sweet and sexy younger man/older woman romance. This is my first book by the author and though I did enjoy it, I do wish there would have been more back story and build up for Ren and Stacey. Even just a few glimpses into their earlier friendship/relationship within the last year or two would have been helpful to set the stage for what was to come. Instead, the story starts off with a bang (pun intended), and I felt like I was playing catch up with the emotions for the majority of the story.
I did appreciate that the author was realistic with her portrayal of this trope (the fears, concerns, challenges, and stigma) and found the chapter where Ren's mother confronted Ren and Stacey extremely moving and powerful. I also loved Ren's father and how supportive he was of his son. There wasn't too much external drama and though I liked that the story stayed focused on Ren and Stacey, it also meant that there wasn't much movement to the story/plot. I enjoyed both narrators, but Joe Arden really stole the show. He captured Ren's youthful vulnerability and sexy swagger so perfectly that I really looked forward to his chapters the most. Overall, this was a light and sexy listen.

Not my usual trope, this younger man, older woman story was nothing short of hot and sexy! Ren, a recent college graduate is in love with his recently divorced next door neighbor, Stacey. When given the opportunity, Ren makes his move. Stacey is having some issues getting back into circulation, and certainly dating her younger, good looking neighbor is not the wait to start back to having a social life! She is very concerned with their age difference. This proved to be an interesting listen for me. The depth of Ren for his age was incredible, I was very impressed with the maturity of his emotions and how he knew exactly what he wanted. I could fully appreciate the views of Stacey, and was experiencing all of her apprehension right along with her. It is an easy listen, extremely hot and has some real emotional pull. A nice treat!
With narration by Joe Arden and Samantha Cook, I knew it was going to be a winner. These two can bring all the feels and heat to a story and truly brought every one to this book. It is a pleasure to listen to it.

Stacey is newly divorced. Trying to get use to the idea of being single when Ren returns from college. Stacey does not see Ren coming. He can't want her. She can't let him in and do this with him.
Ren has persistance. But will he be able to win Stacey over? Will the obstacles they face be able to be overcome? Will he finally win her heart?
This was a sexy read. I would have liked for there to be more build up with their intentions before he reveals his feeling. But it was a great read and will readore from this author.

This is the first book that I have listen to by this author and I was more than happy with it. It’s not a typical May/ December romance and I really enjoyed the fact that the woman was the older participant. And there is nothing better than Joe Arden playing a 20 something man who knows what he wants in a woman and isn’t afraid to go after it.

If you are looking for a sexy little read, this is the one for you. Ren has recently graduated from college and has been hot for his next door neighbor, Stacy, since he was 13. Well, Ren is all grown up and Stacy is newly divorced. He is set on finally making Stacy his after all the years of longing. This is a sexy take on the May December trophe. The emotions and dynamic amongst the characters is realistic considering the circumstances and the chemistry between Ren and Stacy is hot!!

This was a fun, hot little read for me. If you just want a moderately quick and angsty read, Let Me Love You is right up your alley!
I think my favorite part of this story was the back and forth. Ren is a super determined man who really knows what he wants and I found the convincing that he had to do to get Stacey to see that they could work was perfect in every way.

Readers looking for a quick yet immensely satisfying read will get just that with this older woman/younger man romance. Years of being next door neighbors, years of finding a connection and a level of comfort as friends, has slowly become something more. While some might frown upon the age difference I found these two a delightful duo whose romance swept me off my feet.
Stacey is still trying to recover from the end of her marriage and her ex starting a family with someone else. Just when she thought she had her life all planned out she was left blindsided by betrayal and is left full of self-doubt. Just when she needed an ego boost most her next door neighbor returns home and every perception she had of him gets upended. Where once stood a young boy now stands a man...a drool-worthy man who wears his heart on his sleeve and who has a plan to finally claim Stacey. Stacey’s a likable heroine whose self-esteem was bruised by her ex but who is slowly putting herself out there again. She’s always felt comfortable around Ren, found him easy to talk to, but his being younger always kept her from admitting more. With his return she can no longer deny his sensuality and charm and though she acknowledges the issues surrounding their age difference she doesn’t let it keep her from what her heart desires for too long in a realization that had me cheering.
While Stacey’s an admirable heroine it’s Ren who’s the highlight of this story and with each word and deed readers will fall in love with him too. He’s always been attracted to Stacey but it was a teenager’s attraction and based on hormones. Getting to interact with her on a more personal level the previous summer gave him greater insight into her heart and made his attraction burn brighter. He’s already played the field and sowed enough wild oats to know that Stacey’s his future. He just needs to convince her, and his overprotective mother of it, in a romance that warmed my heart while making me blush. Ren was the quintessential book boyfriend. He was committed to Stacey from the moment he returned and was willing to do whatever it took to convince her of their perfection. He told it like it was, poured his heart out to her, and every layer of his heart that was revealed made him even more delicious. He might have been younger in years, but he was wise in knowing just what Stacey needed and ended up being the perfect match for her.
This was a sweet and sexy read that made for an afternoon of decadent delights. Stacey and Ren were a combustible couple whose interactions were beautifully balanced between erotically-charged encounters and tender moments. While issues over their age difference are touched on they’re not dragged out. The angst over it is quickly dealt with and again shows Ren’s maturity. From start to finish this story held me captive in its warm embrace and with its HFN I can still picture their dreamy life together and recommend it to all lovers of romance.

It had been a while since I last listened to an audiobook. I already planned on starting listening to them again with my maternity leave coming up. And I was thinking it would be perfect to listen to more audiobooks when our baby girl is born. So when I saw a sign up to become a part of the Caffeinated PR Audiobook service it felt like destiny. Soon after signing up the sign up for ‘Let Me Love You’ came along and I was super excited when I received the email which allowed me to start listening right away.
In ‘Let Me Love You’ we meet Stacy Williams, a recently divorced thirty one year old. Stacy’s divorce has done a number on her. Her husband had an affair with a younger woman and has gotten her pregnant. Stacy wanted to start a family for years but her husband always said it wasn’t the right time. Now heartbroken she is slowly getting back on her feet. When her neighbors handsome twenty three year old son Ren Haynes moves back after finishing college she is surprised to find he is interested in more than just friendship with her. Ren has been in love with Stacy for years, and now she is divorced he is determined to make her see he is the one for her.
After I started ‘Let Me Love You’ I had my reservations about this story. I don’t really like stories that got a lot of sex in it right from the beginning. I don’t mind sex in a book at all, but there has to be romance for me to enjoy reading or listening to it. And in the beginning of this book I missed the romance. Sure I got that Ren was in love with Stacy. But Stacy’s attraction to Ren kind of felt like coming out of the blue. I also thought the whole age difference of eight years was not so much, but maybe that’s just me. Thankfully I kept going and started enjoying this book more and more. The connection between Stacy and Ren started to develop and I enjoyed listening to Ren’s pursued of Stacy. It was especially fun to read how Ren was determined to show Stacy how serious he was about them. And the way he faced his aggravating mother was pretty good.
This audiobook isn’t very long, which is a shame because I loved the two narrators Joe Arden and Samantha Cook. They definitely did a great job in narrating this book. I enjoyed listening to Samantha’s voice, but above all I loved listening to Joe Arden. His voice is just so nice to listen too and it made me want to keep on listening till the very end.
Overall this was a nice audiobook and the perfect one to get me back in the audiobook scene. It wasn’t perfect, but definitely made for a fun listen.

This is the first chance I have had to read a book by this author and I rather enjoyed this quick, some-what refreshing read. It is not often that you fina storyline about a younger man and an older woman and that is just what you get with Let Me Love You.
Ren Hayes has just graduated college and is ready to start his adult life. Returning home and finding work was an easy choice for him. The driving force behind his decision is Stacey. She may be eight years his senior, but that has not stopped him from finally realizing that he wants to be the one to show her what it really means to be loved and taken care of. If he can convince her to take a chance, he intends to make her feel better than anyone ever has. I can honestly say that I really liked Ren's character, granted at times he seemed a little too possessive, but he was also experiencing what it was to fall in love with someone for the first time. He had a sweetness to his character as well, not to mention he knew just how to make a woman really feel. I loved that he was so ready to put his player ways behind him and ready to start his career. But, most of all he wanted Stacey to be a permanent fixture in his life. He didn't care what the ramifications were because of the large difference in age. It was his life and he was going to live it on his terms.
Stacey is mending a broken heart. Left after ten tears of marriage, he husbands shacks up with a younger woman, who just so happens to be carrying his child. Stacey is an author of romance and romantic-suspense novels. Something that has allowed her to get lost in while her heart slowly pieces itself back together. What she never anticipated was Ren Hayes making her life even more crazy. Sure, she has watched him grow from a gangly teenager into a handsome man, but she never knew that his feelings for her ran any deeper. Now she finds herself in a battle between her heart and her head and at every turn, it seems that someone will get hurt.
I really liked this quick, refreshing read. I had a really hard time with the way the ARC was formatted, but my rating does not reflect that at all. The characters are great, relatable and well written, I just wanted a little something more to the story. I definitely will be looking to read more of this author's work in the future.

When he comes back home after graduating college, however, and Stacey is now divorced, Ren sets out to show her that their age gap means nothing when it comes to what he feels in his heart.
After her husband left her for a younger model, Stacey is less confident about herself these days, and basks in Ren's attention and affection. But when the initial glow wears off, she understandably starts to freak out about what his parents (who are friends of hers) will think. Can Ren convince Stacey that they are meant to be together?
The relationship between the characters is hot and sexy, and Let Me Love You is an enjoyable enough read. But I wish that there was more to the lead-up between Ren and Stacey. I felt like the reader was told about the connection they share more than I was shown it; that is a huge pet peeve of mine. But overall, this was rather quick May/December romance worth checking out.

The moment I read the synopsis on this book, I knew I had to read it. Personally I think if the older younger dynamic is done right, it can be a pretty damn good story. This was definitely a good story. Ren and Stacey had good chemistry. I liked that there was a friends turned to lovers thing going on between them. Sometimes I feel like authors that try to write this plot rush through the actual courtship, but because they were friends first it made it flow much better. I loved how Ren never gave up on her and gave her time to sort out her feelings. The woman was coming off a divorce so there would have been mixed feelings not only from that, but because she was also friends with his parents.
That leads me to my next thought, which is I am so glad that the parents played a part in this book. I think for time’s sake people skip over the thoughts of the families in these situations. Sometimes, it is a useful tool to help make the relationship feel all the more real. Ren is close with his parents, especially his mother so it was nice to see the dynamic between them.
I really enjoyed this book. I think it’s definitely one to enjoy on a long weekend by the pool with a girly drink.

Between 3.5 and 4, so I rounded up. This was a quick read. I do like the older women stories as they aren't as common as all the older, wiser men stories seem to be. But as an older woman who likes younger men, I enjoy when I find one of these stories that are enjoyable. And this was a pretty good one. It was definitely very sexy, and had very realistic moments with Ren's family, as well as how Stacey felt when it all happened. But it also had some humorous bits that I enjoyed as well. I definitely enjoyed this one and I look forward to reading more by this author in the future! Another thing is that it reminded me of a story idea I had a while ago, and now I'm eager to start working on that story when I get a chance. I love when a book does that for me!

This book was a real treat from beginning to end. Though fast-paced, it manages to impact you with all the feelings the main characters experience as they face their feelings for each other while dealing with the possible fallout from others around them.
I liked that the author didn't try to complicate things more than necessary, and the emotions in the novel were realistically portrayed by the different characters. This is a fun, sexy romance that I definitely recommend!

I gotta say, out of all the books I've read these last several years, I've never read an older woman and younger man. So I was intrigued to read this book. Excited really but there was just to much emphasis on her being 8 years older, (her 31, him 23). It annoyed me all the way throughout the book. It was brought up in nearly every chapter.
I loved Ren! He had his head screwed on and he knew what he wanted and who he wanted. And that was his hot neighbour, Stacey. He's just got through with college and moved back home so he can be with her. But he has a lot to contend with.
Stacey has just gotten out of a 10 year marriage, after her 40 yr old husband cheated on her with a 23 year old woman, who he got pregnant. (But nothing was ever said that this was wrong, unlike Stacey falling for Ren, and that greatly pee'd me off) I get Stacey's insucurities. But she's also allowed to fall in love and be happy again.
I didn't like the way Ren's mother behaved either. Flying at Stacey like that was wrong and Stacey shouldn't have just stood there and took it. She should have stood her ground.
But all said and done, this was an ok book. I liked the chemistry between these two and Ren was so sweet to reassure Stacey, that he found her beautiful and he's never letting her go.
I would have liked an epilogue in this book to see how things had progressed, say 5 years down the line. I hate when a book doesn't give some indication on how their lives have gone. It feels like I've been cheated.

Entertaining
When I hear about a age gap romance where the woman is older than the man , I grab it right away; because, there are more written where the men are older than the women.
I enjoyed reading Let Me Love You. It's a sweet, romantic , not overly angsty love story. The development , plot , conflict resolution and ending was like a Valentine's Day box of chocolates.

This is a really sweet story, I like it when a book features an age gap where the woman is older because I feel like it shouldn’t really be an issue but people still tend to look badly on it for some reason.
You could easily see the chemistry between these two as soon as Ren made his feelings known, I do wish there had been a bit more of a build up to that though. I felt like that in a few situations in this story, this was quite a short book but I think the author could have added more to it to really build the tension between them. Short and sweet is nice but I could have happily read more about Ren and Stacey.
I loved that Ren realised that he would have to prove to Stacey that he wasn’t just fulfilling some fantasy and all the little things that he does for her to get her to see how genuine his feelings are. The only thing I had a little bit of a problem with, which I shall try to describe without giving away too much of the story, is that at one point Ren says that if he can’t have her then no one else can, now he was drunk but for someone who up until that point had been really sweet and respectful it just felt a bit off. Plus I don’t like that kind of train of thought anyway.

This was quite an enjoyable read! I loved the interaction between the two main characters, and the realistic back-and-forth between them as the nature of their relationship changed. The peripheral characters were interesting as well...
While I enjoyed the story as it was unfolding, the beginning where their history was laid out seemed really clunky and stilted...
But once the story took off, it was very good...
A great, quick read, that was both sweet and hot, and that I definitely recommend to other fans of contemporary romance!

Let Me Love you is a well written older woman/younger man romance. Stacy and Ren have known each other for some time and as he's grown Ren's crush develops into more. Stacey, a recently divorcee, hadn't thought of her neighbors' son in a sexual way, until now. Ren and Stacy have a friendship of sorts that grows into a relationship after Ren graduates from college. Given their situation, if it wasn't for the age difference, their relationship is pretty normal. They are two people who care about each other and have real concerns about their future. Obviously one of the concerns does happen to be the age deal, but once Stacy is able to look past that she shes that Ren is a mature young man, ready to move on to the next phase of life by her side. It isn't an easy road, but the obstacles help create the structure of the realtionship. I enjoyed the stroy and wasn't put off at all by the subject matter. The characters were nicely developed and stroy well paced.
