Scarred

Reece Oliver is on the run. After participating in an experimental drug program to rid himself of his destructive alcoholism, he discovers he had been lied to. The doctors leading the program never intended to cure Reece. The drugs were supposed to devolve subjects into an earlier form of man. What Reece became, however, was altogether different. He now must remain one step ahead of the doctors, while fighting the urge to use his new abilities, for if he does, he is left with one more scar.

About the author

Michael is a Product Training Specialist by day and is very busy at home playing with his four boys, self-proclaimed "ninjas-in-training." He was a graphic artist for thirteen years but, unfortunately, while taking design courses in college, everyone failed to mention he would never make enough to support a family in that profession.

Ironically, he took the same creative writing class in college twice, where his professor once called a writing exercise very "polished" for a first draft. Michael has been writing since the age of five, taking inspiration from his father, who has published four science fiction novels.

He has always held a strong interest in sci-fi and the paranormal and has amassed a comic book collection of over 2000 books since high school. He is currently working on a YA sci-fi series, a number of short stories and a novella.
