Larry didn’t think he was made for happy-ever-afters, until one Dom changed his mind.

Larry likes to keep his BDSM and sex separate. He has his reasons, and he doesn’t have to explain them to anyone else. Though he has a friend in another sub, Hank, no one truly knows Larry—maybe not even Larry himself.

Life takes twists and turns one can never predict. When one of those twists turns out to be a Dom Larry is attracted to, Larry’s secretive life and hidden desires threaten to come bubbling to the surface.

But for that to happen, he’ll have to learn to truly trust someone.

Bo Olsteen always wears his leather hood when he’s at the club. He likes to keep a firm line drawn between the Dom and the man outside of BDSM.

He hasn’t gotten laid or had a scene with a sub in far too long to admit. No one has caught his attention until he sees one blond man with boundaries all over the place and a chip on his shoulder at the BDSM club in Ravon.

Two men, neither of them expecting the connection that bursts to life between them, are about to learn the power in true submission.

A few things about me...

I am a married mom of four who spends most of the day writing, either on stories or at the blog. I love to write as much as I love to read. I am generally quiet and laid back, choosing to let things slide off me rather than stick and irritate me.

And it's really hard trying to think of descriptives for myself, so I'll just let y'all e-mail me or comment at the blog if there's something specific you'd like to know, and spare you from reading a boring bio:D

A short one but damn it was great. The power exchange between a Dom and a sub...
Bo and Larry.
An exceptional relationship which both never expected or could dream of.
A sadist in a scene but outside it there is a whole other man. The same with the sub... even as sub he is extraordinary, has a big mouth and is extreme to get in his flow. Bo is the only one who can give him what he wants and Larry is the only one who can give Bo what he needs.

Outside the scene they are sweet as sugar.
And to watch them together was....hot as hell....not how you would expect.

Strong written and very pleasant to look inside Bo and Larry's world. It was short and good....would love to know them better...

This is the second book in the series, and I can recommend Exchange (Power, 1) to you. I don't think you need to have read it first, but this follows on chronologically.

Ms Bradford is brilliant at writing about the different hues of BDSM. No assumptions, no formulae, each person has different needs and desires. In Larry she has created someone who has a very good reason for his kinks and wants. He is clearly a good guy, and when it is revealed just what happened to him, those needs make much more sense. Luckily he and Bo have a strong attraction, and take the time to get to understand each other, in and out of the club.

Another great installment, thank you Ms Bradford.

I was given this book for an honest review by Wicked Reads.

Bo and Larry are a quirky couple. Larry is closed off and despite his traumatic history, he is looking to find a connection. While he doesn't necessarily want to find a meaningful relationship on a whim, he looks at his friends and how happy they are in their relationship, he yearns for that too.

Bo is a sadist who is only a sadist in the bedroom and when someone is willing. He seems to take and leave the power exchange in his relationship. When he sees Larry submitting at the club, he can't help but be intrigued.

Bo and Larry develop a relationship that is based on their mutual power exchange, but their relationship is not necessarily all that unique.

This is a quick read where you have a firm connection and see that develop in to a relationship fairly quickly.

I love this series, my only complaint is how short the books are. The first two would have been awesome as full length novels. Each book can be read as a stand alone. We briefly met Larry in the first book. He is so sweet and has kind of a mystery to him and why he wants things the way he wants them. Bo hasn't clicked with anyone in forever and when he meets Larry he is intrigued. For being such a short book we did get to see these two grow together and become an awesome pair. Short, hot and a littlw bit of sweet. Highly recommend.

This was ok. Honestly, nothing surprising here. Nothing bad, but nothing extraordinary. Just a slightly kinky book about a couple of guys. Their relationship felt forced but only because they were so careful with each other at first. Love comes quick, some things about the MCs aren't revealed well... mostly character build up stuff. But it was alright. Something quick with a sweet HEA.

Larry didn't have the best childhood and it has affected his relationships. He doesn't scene and have sex at the same time. When he meets Bo, he begins to wonder if he could possibly have it all. After their first scene, they both realize that they want more. My heart just broke for Larry when I learned of what happened to him. He's never really had anyone care for him until Bo. Like Exchange, the first book in the series, this one also had an epilogue, which tied up their story nicely. I wish it was longer though! I would have loved to have read more about how their relationship progressed before the epilogue. I'm excited for Quar's story in Dominate.

Look this is a short story so there isn’t a huge amount of build up for fleshing out but this story really got to me. I found myself tearing up over things I usually wouldn’t.

Larry hasn’t had an easy life and the only one in his life who cares about him is his friend Hank. After he does a scene at the club with Dom Bo, he starts to think about his life and want things he hadn’t dared think about before. He wants love and to let someone in to his life.

*Sigh*. Submit is a lovely story. I just love m/m BDSM and these novellas give me a little bit of a comfort read without taking up too much time or brain power and leave me happy.

I liked Larry and Bo’s story a little more than Thomas and Hank’s. I still wish it were longer because it would be nice to have gotten a better feel for Bo and definitely more background on Larry. It was an interesting take on BDSM, however, and I enjoyed that difference.

Larry has had an incredibly difficult life and I loved him right from the beginning. His heart and commitment to helping everyone around him before himself is not just selfless, it's an example worth emulating...to a point. You can't serve someone from an empty platter. Larry has trouble refilling his platter. His friendships and philanthropy aren't healing him the way he had hoped. He's lonely and needs relief. A mutual acquaintance brings him to the attention of a Dom that can give him the relief he seeks and before he realizes it, he's drawn to the man for more.

Bo is lonely. When he's captivated by Larry's face and attitude willingly participates in a scene with him. Realizing quickly that he's drawn to him beyond what he can do for the beautiful man with a cane or a flogger, he hopes to find him at the club again. There's something deeper and darker that calls to him. Seeing him outside of the club by coincidence gives him the opportunity to begin something more with him. As he falls for Larry his own heart finds the place it was always meant to be.

This was an intense story that was far too short for my liking. I seriously enjoyed it. There was a dynamic here to their practice of BDSM that was unique to this pairing. A lot of respect and genuine affection drove their interactions which I found fantastic. The sexy times didn't happen at first and this isn't something I've come across in other stories like this I've read thus far. Usually, it's an intense sexual attraction that leads to some kind of scene with sex included and then some angst and a relationship that grows from there.

Instead, we have two men who need something deeper, a connection to be their foundation, turmoil from their lives outside their scenes that drive the need for their scenes. Affection builds as they learn boundaries. Their communication is phenomenal. They discuss limits and expectations and personalities before getting into what they can do for one another and they make it work.

Like I said, this story was far too short. I wanted much more. There was so much potential as individuals and as a pair that was unfulfilled because of the story's length. I'm hoping that as I continue the series I'll get more relationships like theirs that feel real, organic, and tender in addition to the hotness that comes from their steamy interactions.

I was looking forward to reading this one. I haven't read a BDSM book in a while. I liked the cover well enough, and the description caught my eye so I figured I'd give it a try.

The book is meh. It's short-- approximately 47 pages. Honestly I think it would have been better as a full length novel. It seemed like the author had a lot more to say.

One of the problems was that the pacing was too fast. Larry and Bo meet and do a scene at the BDSM club, next thing you know Larry is crying over his life story on their first date, and the next thing you know they're going to get married.

Another problem is character development. Like I said before, the book is fast paced. It seemed like the author wanted to say more about Larry and Bo, but due to the limited story (assuming there was a limit like they only had 10,000 words to write), they tried to cram in some parts of their backgrounds. Some reason the author picked out one aspect and homed in on it. Larry confessed to two different characters at separate occasions about a traumatic childhood experience. In 47 pages, it doesn't have to be done twice. The same thing happened to Bo as well.

I wish there had been a warning about the kinks somewhere. Overall the kinks in the book are ones I'm not into. However, I do appreciate that the author correctly portrayed BDSM. I really liked that.

I think if the story was fleshed out, I would recommend it, but at its current state I wouldn't.

As the story starts we find Larry doing volunteer work in the local soup kitchen. Larry had been away dealing with the death of his parents and has recently returned to town. Larry was brought up in a strict Christian home of the late 80s and his folks sent him off to a “re-education” camp when his parents found he was gay. Things didn't go too well there and it has affected his ability to foster and maintain relationships. Larry has a one night stand with Bo in a local leather bar and is smitten and he begins to wonder if he could possibly have a relationship after all. I think I would have enjoyed the book more if it provided more background to the characters. I would have loved to have read more about each of the characters and followed the progression of their relationship prior to the epilogue. The book felt more like a teaser than a full story.

I have been gifted this book and chose to leave a voluntary review. The review and ratings are solely my opinions. Thanks NetGalley for the arc in exchange for my honest review.

Submit is the second book in Power series by author Bailey Bradford. This book can be read as a stand-alone and understood just fine. I have not read this series before.
I love how this book has a ton of chemistry between the characters. It really holds this story together. What I was not a fan of was how rushed this book is. I feel it could be a better book if it were long and less rushed.
Larry has a few issues to work out and on in this book. He really needs what Bo can give him. Bo himself has a few issues to work on but they are better together than apart. Sometimes you can find the person who is broken just like you are and they fit you. That is what these two flawed men have.
Overall a great story with heart and love to keep me turning the pages and wanting more.

Submit is the second book in Bailey Bradford’s Power series, and it is one that can be read without reading the first book. While the characters from the first book made an appearance in this, this story is separate to the first.

I will be honest and say that I struggled with Submit from the start. It was one of those stories where everything was told, without allowing for the emotional depth I wanted to experience. This feeling was made much stronger by how quickly everything happened. Moments that should have been highly emotional happened without buildup, which cheapened them and made it impossible to feel anything between the characters. Thus, while there was the potential for a powerful story, there was not enough to allow it to hit as hard as I had hoped.

All in all, I can appreciate what Submit was trying to do, yet I wanted much more from the story.

This was a short yet intense BDSM read. Bo is a sadist who is searching for the right sub whereas, Larry longs for love but the demons of his past hold him back.

Bo and Larry need to inflict/receive pain and that’s what made this book quite distinctive. Their sub/dom relationship doesn’t start with sex but gradually progresses to more than either expects.

Their scenes were intense and captured Larry’s vulnerability and trust in Bo perfectly.

I liked the premise of the book but for me the characters needed just a little more developing. The first half of the book was paced well but the second half felt overly rushed.

Larry wants to keep his sex separate from this BDSM life, his rules and boundaries are his and he doesn't explain them to anyone. He doesn't think he will ever get a happy ending, nor does he believe he deserves one. Bo wears a leather hood to keep his Dom persona away from the man outside of BDSM. When the two collide at a club, neither expect the sparks that fly nor do they expect the connect that forms, but in order for them to truly connect, they must learn the meaning of true submission.

I liked both Larry and Bo, but I felt like the book was rushed, there was no way to really get to understand the guys and for them to really develop as characters in such a short book.

-I was sent this book in exchange for an honest review-

It was just ok. It was short and had no conflict no plot. I finished it in 1 hour. It had a decent build up but had no story build up. It was boring but had the romance aspect down pact. It wasn’t bad but definitely wasn’t a must read in my opinion. It was a first sight romance with a speedy love build up and seemed rushed. There was no character depth and just seems like a lust based love. But I’m not one to enjoy speedy love if you do then you might enjoy this book.

A quick read but you get a lot of story. Good storyline that is well written and developed. Larry has always kept his BDSM and sex separate. His worlds collide when he meets Bo, first as a Dom at the club, and later runs into him outside of the club. Larry and Bo have great chemistry and a strong connection. Bo may be just what Larry needs to get over the traumas from his childhood and have the happily ever after he's always wanted.

Way to quick of a read, Larry suffered abuse as a kid in a ‘conversation camp’ where he witness a murder. Bo is a health inspector but also a part time sadist that needs the release to beat someone very hard. They meet up at their BDSM club Bo in a leather executioner’s mask, Dom and Larry a sub that needs caneing but he don’t mix sex and play scene together at all. Can their play be more then that or will it be love at first sight???

Not enough depth to characters and story line. The book was too short for the story I felt like the author was trying to tell. This book is only 79 pages long, so I didn't really get to understand the characters or really even get to know them. The book had a lot of potential, but for me personally it just didn't live up to that potential. IT also had quite a series topic in there regarding Larry's past, and I felt like if that had been explored and explained how that had shaped his outlook on life rather than brushed over, it had the potential to be a very interesting plot.

That being said, I will still continue to read this series as I really want to know more about Quarry and Forester in the next book, I have my fingers crossed it will be a good one.

This well-edited book had so much potential. I loved that it started with the non-sexual side of BDSM. The erotic portions were definitely hot, and I felt the connection between the characters while in scenes.

With that being said, the length of this book really kept it from taking off. Larry and Bo had so much untapped character depth. Because of the rapid pace, I never really connected to the characters. There wasn't really any build-up of sexual tension. It honestly just felt rushed.

I really loved the Love in Xxchange series by this author, so I'll definitely keep reading!

I really enjoyed Submit-book two in the Power series! Bailey Bradford did a great job of having quite a bit of story take place within a short book! I think Larry and Bo clicked right away and you could feel their energy!

Larry has been jealous of his best friend finding the Dom of his dreams. He would love something like that, but he's too messed up for that isn't he?? The unexpected happens when Larry meets Bo, a leather hood wearing Dom at his BDSM club. Bo is smitten when he sees Larry! Why hasn't he seen him around before? Larry had been away dealing with family business and is back in town. When Bo approaches him, he instantly sees Larry needs some help. He is just the man to do the helping!

Bo and Larry's dynamic is quite interesting. Both have a need for clear lines-kind of "what happens at the club, stays at the club" type. Neither lets their BDSM and sex intermingle. Their attraction was immediate and they never looked back!

I really like the Power series so far! I am definitely looking forward to book three, Dominate, with Quar!!

***I was provided this book as an ARC via Netgalley***

First of all, I need to say that this cover is ridiculous! The title also does not lend any help to the cover and instead makes it seem like it mocking it instead. It looks like butt cheeks and I am not sure how it ever got approved! Old ladies walking by this book being featured will be scandalized! I know this book is about two men in a BDSM role but I think that the cover is out of line and only takes away from the concept.

I went into this book with an open mind and It quickly became clear that I was not going to love the characters or the prose. This book was a very intense book and at times the BDSM might have been a bit much. There was a lack of real story and I wanted to know more about Larry and Bo.

I also not care for the pacing. It was as if the author had everything ready when they started writing but then lost momentum and pumped out the first thing that crossed their mind. The second half of the book was too fast and seemed forced.

I did like how the author showed Larry’s trust for Bo and how it eventually led to the two having something more than just a BDSM relationship. There just was just not enough preverbal "meat and potatoes" for me to love this book.
