She's Down
I had actually sat the book down for a while and just recently pick it back up. It just wasn't clicking for me at the point where I stopped. Glad I did because I would have missed out. Shamar is a whole piece of work. I mean you have to go through all of that just to get some. Nike and Shonni's character grew. I wasn't expected the restaurant or the hotel scenes. Thought Shonni was going to try to handle things like before. Duke and Trina I think raised the most hell in this series. Sophia situation I think brought those two closer no matter how much Trina wanted to fight him. Duke was really messy with the hit he did. I was real messed about that, but Duke is a man of his word. The woman really stayed down, but I think Nike stayed down for her a lot more. As hot headed as he is, I'm surprised he didn't drop a bullet in Shonni for her antics. The series actually turn out to be pretty good for a first time author.
