The title is a bit misleading, compared to the others in the series. While they are all about one airplane (US) or aeroplane (UK), this one actually is about the F4F Wildcat, the F6F Hellcat and F8F Bearcat, describing the whole family of Grumman ship-based Naval fighters from before WW2 till the early 1950ies. Artist Rikyu Watanabe has the knack to be able to -draw parts of- an airplane more clearly than a photograph of it, which greatly illuminates the technical information given.
