A DRAGONLINGS HAUNTED HALLOWEEN I laughed till I nearly wet myself at the antics of the "supposed" grown up men in this book. Cara has built a mini Disney playground under the palace and when Abby laughingly mentions the new playground would be the perfect place to have a Halloween party, Cara goes into super drive and creates a Haunted House adventure for the dragonlings. The fun really starts when the men decide sneak down and test the playground first. Having never been or seen anything like this before they are soon out of their depth.
THE NIGHT OF THE DEMENTED SYMBIOTS Another fun wonderful read in Ms Smiths fantastic world of books. You can read this alone but it is much more enjoyable if you have read this series of books. The dragonlings are one of the most enjoyable reads ever. As a huge fan of this author I read all of her books but these little cuties have my heart. It was lovely to have the twin dragons (Cree and Calo) and Viper play a part in this story as well as their mates and children. Phoenix's future is becoming a huge question mark and where is Akaterina going? I hope Dulce finds his mate soon.
A Dragonlings' Haunted Halloween Chock full of dragonling adorableness. Their younglings are beyond cute and the Halloween playground they’ve been given sounds like worlds of fun. However, I’m getting a little frustrated by the characterization of all the human females being high-maintenance, conniving, and manipulative. I’m almost as tired of seeing all the alien males being consistently painted as nothing more than overbearing, protective alphas. The thing that drives me the most batty is that after all this time, and this many books, still nobody seems to have the faintest understanding of one another. Night of the Demented Symbiots I have just discovered my favorite book in the series. It’s the equivalent of cotton candy: light, fluffy, completely bad for you, but too much fun to resist. I loved the range of creativity the younglings display. This was the true definition of laugh-out-loud funny. I’m sure many of the people around me while I was reading this must think I’ve lost my mind. It was a short trip, but well worth it.
I love the babies. I was looking for something funny to break my non-stop drama binge and of course I turn to SE Smith and the babies. I laughed throughout the entire book. I've read every one of the babies adventures. They are all special/ unique and full of adventure. In the first adventure, Alice's dad was so worried about her being so small out in the world. It is turning out that she is going to be quite powerful. I will be sad when it's time for Phoenix to leave them all. They love her so. The only disappointing part was the lack of description of the men, when the ladies returned from their spa/ shopping day. That would have been hilarious with the ladies wondering how the men ended up looking like glittered rainbows. However, definitely no star deduction. I absolutely recommend this book and this series. Does not disappoint. Please write more.
I love this two-in-one audiobook. The dragonlings are hilarious and so are their fathers. I am so glad that Alice in Rome came to hang out with they're buddies. I also am glad to see that Maura is getting to the point where she is interacting with her cousins and her aunts and uncles. The last little bit of Night of the Demented Symbiots (The Dragonlings' Haunted Halloween, #2) when Icatarina was leaving had me a bit concerned. I want to know where is she going and I want her to just find happiness. That is honestly all that I want for her.
The Dragonlins and friends make for great listen and fun. Watching the children grow and learn and their parents connect with each other and the rest of the group of friends. The stories are fanciful, while still allowing the dragonlins and friends to grow and expand on their talents and friendship. There were opportunities in each novella contained to see the couples grow and connect further. There's a glimpse or two of possible future events.
David has been the perfect audio guide for the entire series. Each character have there own voice and the children sound like children and not adults trying too hard to be a child.
These sci-fi romance novels are out of this world amazing. I love how they get into trouble with their mates and the kids always discover what's going on. I can't wait to see what happens with Phoenix I believe she's going to die and be reborn like her namesake. I just love this universe. ---------------------------------------------------------------------------- What's happening to Aikaterina it seems like something will happen to her? I really like how the younglings are so ingenious and they are so funny. David is an awesome narrator! I love how the families all come together and I learn more about their lives inbetween the main stories. I really hope Ms. Smith never ends this world because it is really, really, really great!
