No man enraptured Martha Jean Richards. Not since her scoundrel of a late ex-husband left. Men came with problems, and she didn't believe in happily ever afters. But even Martha Jean’s hard exterior couldn't hold after meeting Christopher Lee Rose, a multimillionaire mogul. He was the father of her recently acquired son-in-law, and Christopher wooed Martha Jean every time he entered a room. Now with a change of heart, Martha Jean decides it’s time she marries a gentleman, but there is one person who stands in her way, Adeline Stevens. Also, newly joined into the Rose family through marriage, Adeline’s spunky no-nonsense attitude affected everyone she met. For years, Adeline had lived by the rule that men could not be trusted. That was until she met Christopher. Baited by his charismatic charm, Adeline aspires to be the woman at the altar when it’s all said and done. And if it’s war that Martha Jean wants, it’s war she will get. The Falling for a Rose series follows each member of the Rose family as they explore this thing called love. However, each book is just as enjoyable if read as a standalone as it is if read in the series order.

She Said Yes was so good! There were so many LOL moments in this book. I was so happy Mr. Rose finally found love. I'm just glad it wasn't with Martha Jean or Adaline. They just weren't on the same level as Mr. Rose. Not that Norma was on his level either but, she's been the family housekeeper for all those years so it made sense that he fell in love with her. Considering how Leslie and Bridgette Valentine got down, Mr. Rose and Norma got the short end of the stick. There was absolutely no heat between the two of them but, theirs was a sweet love story so it was okay. Although neither one of them ended up with Mr. Rose, I was very happy Martha Jean and Adaline found love too. Antonio and Clifford played no games. They wooed the hell out of their women until they gave in. She Said Yes was a lovable story. I really enjoyed seeing Mr. Rose finally get his HEA. He definitely deserved it.

"She Said Yes" by Stephanie Nicole Norris

My Thoughts.....

What a beautiful series this "Falling For A Rose Book 6...She Said Yes" was that will keep you turning the pages to see who said Yes! You will definitely get caught up with this entire family of Roses and let's not leave out the mess that Martha and Adeline presented. It was quite a delight seeing who Christopher Rose finally ending up with after all was said and done. This story definitely ended very enjoyable and now we will be looking forward to the next series that is about another Rose family member..... Phoebe Alexandria Rose and Quentin.

There were several small love stories in this book. Two women were fighting over their daughters' father-in-law. Meanwhile he is in love with someone else, the woman who has been helping him take care of his family for years after his wife was killed.
I enjoyed this book a lot. I was happy how everything worked out.

Beautiful‼️

This was a good book. I saw that coming though. I knew Christopher was not interested in neither mother of his daughters-in-law. You could read the love and admiration the Rise children and Christopher had for Norma. I thought her sons would be in the wedding though.

The two mother laws were a mess. They both wanted Christopher’s attention and didn’t like each other because of it. After being alone for so long, Christopher was finally ready for the next chaotic in his life.

Finding Love Again

I didn't like Adeline or Martha Jean, yet that fighting scene almost took me out 🤣, lol. These two were way too old and fragile (at least in Adelines case) to be fighting. Either way, I'm glad neither of them got Mr. Christopher Lee Rose.

Norma and the matriarch of the Rose Clan, Christopher Lee Rose, found each others heart, after the tragic passing of his late wife, where her life was taken by a home invasion. Mr. Rose never remarried or even dated, opting to focus on his boys and triplet daughters. Norma had been there, helping them heal and move forward in life, becoming much more to the entire family than just the house keeper. She'd become family. She had 3 boys of her own, as well, but never married either. Now that the kids were grown and starting their own families, Mr. Rose felt it time to share his love openly for Norma, but was she ready? Would the kids welcome her or be upset at this revelation?

I'm so glad Mr. Rose went with his heart. I hope to see more of this relationship blossom as the series continues.

I was glad to see bits of the past couples relationships be explored more, in this book. And getting a glimpse into what is to take place with Quentin and Phoebe in the next book, seems like a very interesting story as well.

Another great read. Book 7, let's Go😉.

Grownup Love

As a 73 year old romantic , I have to say I enjoyed this story that leaned toward love between those over fifty. I smiled and sometimes laughed as I thought about the description of the “aged parents” I have a son that’s 54 and a daughter that is 51 and I’m sure they would be mortified to think in terms of being considered senior citizens😂.

I have to say that at my age, like Adeline and Martha Jean, I still look forward to having a meaningful relationship. However unlike Martha Jean I don’t think I could be as bodacious nor could I imagine fighting with another women over a man (even when I was in my late fifties and sixties ( I hope I didn’t spoil it for future readers) the fight was funny though😂😂

I appreciated the candor and discretion of Norma and Christopher
Norman was secure in her relationship and wasn’t the least bit bothered by the women that thought they had a chance at winning the affection of the man that loved her.

I gave the book four stars only because I would have enjoyed reading more about how how Antonio perused the women of his desire as well as how Adelines ex pursued her.
The sizzle and the passion of the young Roses and their wives was simply a repeat from each of the previous books

Again I enjoyed Getting a glimpse of what I call grown up love

She Said Yes (#6) [No man enraptured Martha Jean Richards. Not since her scoundrel of a late ex-husband left. Men came with problems, and she didn't believe in happily ever afters. But even Martha Jean’s hard exterior couldn't hold after meeting widowed Christopher Lee Rose, a retired (multimillionaire business mogul). For years, Adeline had lived by the rule that men could not be trusted because her husband left her and her daughters without a word. That was until she met Christopher. Baited by his charismatic charm, Adeline aspires to be the woman at the altar when it’s all said and done. And if it’s war that Martha Jean wants, it’s war she will get. Unfortunately for both ladies he’s been with Norma Rodriquez (housekeeper/fill in mom) for the last 4 years and plans to propose to her after his charity event.

These moms are hysterical...and find their own happily ever afters.

All I'm going to say is that I didn't like that the Rose Patriarch Christopher Lee Rose married the longtime housekeeper!
I get that she helped him raise his nine now adult offspring after his wife Janet Rose was mysteriously killed in a home invasion when the children were younger.
I still question was that murder of the Rose matriarch Janet Rose a failed hit on Christopher Rose? Or, did the maid/housekeeper Nora (or something like that) that helped raise the kids put out a hit on the matriarch Janet Rose so as she could have Christopher Rose to & for herself?
The whole ambush & murder of Janet Rose in the Rose home just seemed planned by someone who knew where everyone would be when it occurred, which to me points to the housekeeper/nanny who now wears the title of Mrs. Christopher Lee Rose. That's all I'm saying.
I found myself wanting to know more about Janet Rose than I did about Christopher Rose & his new wife Nora (or whatever her name was)!
That being said: I found Martha Jean & Adeline Stevens feud entertaining, despite my not liking the story or the narrators Leon Nixon & Mari.
That's All.

Ahh! Martha Jean and Adeline--nooooooo!😂 They had me spittin' Cherry Coke everywhere! Daddy Christopher had these crazy women literally fighting over him when we all knew Norma had his heart all along.

I loved visiting with the Rose Brothers, their wives/girlfriends, and the Rose Triplets--Phoebe, Jasmine, and Eden. I thought the benefit in the honor of/dedication to the late Mama Jan Rose was so sweet.

What was missing in this story, however, was the little glimpses back in time to see how Daddy Rose and Norma fell in love or at least when they acknowledged that they had feelings for each that went beyond mere friendship. I wanted more sneak peaks into the past four years of watching how their romance developed; maybe a few flashbacks to help me create a visual image in my mind of Christopher and Norma's second chance to have love in their lives.

But I love that Daddy Rose and Norma fell for each other. I know she never tried to replace their mother, but I loved how Norma was there for the Rose family. She has been such a sweetheart in all the books she's appeared in.

Martha Jean was a WHOLE firecracker out her in these streets!!!…
I truly love her personality, although overwhelming sometimes, but she definitely brings the laughter!!!…
Adeline’s personality has not gone unmatched, because she is the fire Ana the storm with her quick witty mouth!!!…Will she allow her ex back in or will she keep playing tough on the outside while going soft on the inside!!!…
I was sooooo happy for Me Rose and Miss Norma!!!…She has been the woman of the house, the mother figure to his children while raising her own and a nurturer to them as well!!!…She was home long time ago for all of them and for her to now be a Rose too, AMAZING!!!…
I was happy to see Mr Rose wanting everyone to see him love out loud and not in secret because of fear of the children not accepting their relationship!!!…He honored his vows to his 1st wife and healed while enjoying the memories, now he can’t to create new one, with his new wife!!!…

I received an ARC for an honest review.

I am a little late getting this review up since I got lost in holiday rush and I got sick as well. This is a quick read and I like that it focused on some of the secondary characters that we've been introduced to in the previous books. The author did a great job with the humor cause this book got me laughing my head off. Lots of steamy moments with the main characters from the previous books as well as well as some naughty moments from the secondary characters too. A little heartbreaking moments here and there but nothing to worry about. More like "no pain no gain" moments.

Love this series and this book fits right in. The only issue is that because it focuses on secondary characters, the chapters shifts between them can get confusing, thus reading the previous books will be most helpful.

Endearing!

This was a very lovable story for me because it focused on the parents of the Roses and the parents of their significant others. Sometimes we forget whether our parents are divorced, widows/widower or just alone that they're okay by themselves which is not always the case . We all want companionship and so do our wise and experience, loveable parents as well. I thought it was awesome that Christopher and Norma were together because she's been there since the beginning of the new chapter of the Rose's lives because of the death of a loved one. It was cute how they've been actually seeing each other for a while before letting everyone know. Can I tell you how happy I was when he didn't get together with Samiyah's or Claudia's mom. Most of all we get to read how everyone else is doing on their journeys. What a delightful story. ReneeG 👍

Christopher Rose still got it going on

I was unsure how to feel about the Lover of all Lovers entertaining the foolishness that Adeline and Martha Jean carried on. I was always curious about Norma and his relationship from the first book. I was so happy to read that he indeed loved Norma in the same way that his sons loved on their women. I guess because they were older their wasn't anything sexual resembling the other books. However I was still ecstatic for Norma to be received in the role that she was already active in. To be able to keep their secret for 4 years without any one knowing is remarkable. Icing on the cake is knowing two women are literally fighting over your man and he is completely committed to you.

I was aghast at the fruit exchange between Martha Jean and Adeline. I found both of these characters to be quite irritating, juvenile and a a little misguided. I feel as though Christopher should've been more straight forward regarding his disinterest in pursuing anything further than friendship, not that he actually gave them any specific reason to believe that he was interested. For me, this story seemed a little scattered and not as organized or interesting of a story line as other SNN books. However, overall, there were some funny parts and the book provided a segway to Phoebe and Q's story. The best part is that in the end Martha Jean, Adeline, and Daddy Rose ended up with the people they were meant to be with.

I'm so glad that the parents got a story! This book really showed that age is nothing but a number... It was so funny watching parents get scolded by their children. It is truly how it goes; I find myself fussing at my mother more the older she gets!

If you've read the previous books, you kind of saw this coming already. I had already assumed that Mr. Rose and "her" would be together. I won't say who, I don't want to ruin it for others.

Overall, this was the funniest book so far and very satisfying.

These Rose men will make you fall in more and more in love. These books are so good I almost don’t to finish them because that means I’m getting closer to the end of the series. This a series full of love stories that I could follow forever. Wonderful storyline and character development. A five star read that I would recommend to anyone looking for a great love story. I look forward to much more from this author.

This book was hilarious. Martha Jean (Samiyah’s mother) and Adeline (Claudia’s mother) both have their sights set on the eldest Rose man, Christopher. They clash as they both try to prove they are the better woman.

Martha Jean was something else as always. The fight scene shouldn’t have been so funny to me, but it was. Adeline had to show her, she still had skills with that cane.

The winner of Christopher Rose’s heart was predictable but still sweet. I enjoyed this novella and how entertaining the story was. I could use more of Martha Jean in the future.

Oh the laughs...

Oh the laughs that this book gave me! I'm so happy for Christopher and the woman who shares his heart and love. They were the perfect fit. My heart broke for Phoebe, so I can't wait to read her story next. Six books in and I'm still thoroughly enjoying this serial.

Another five stars for the Rose Family

This book was too funny fooling around with Adeline and Martha. They both thought they had Christopher in the bag, but all long Norma and his heart. It was good reading about the Jonas and Jaden, I missed them!!! This book was so good, and as always Stephanie never disappoints.

Patient love

Perfect read, perfect love. Falling in love the first time around is exciting and thrilling, can’t get enough of each other. The second time round it a little nerve wrecking and you are u sure of how your friends and family will respond. The Rose family certainly celebrates love on a large scale. Great and quick read ... flows well and can read in

Wow!

I am absolutely loving these Rose men and the head honcho is just as sexy as his sons. It was so funny seeing Martha Jean and Adeline acting a fool over Christopher Rose when he only had eyes for Norma. One thing about these men is that they know what they want and definitely don’t do long engagements. On to book 7 I go.

I did not see this coming, so unpredictable. The happiness keeps coming with the "Rose" men. There were so many serious and funny scenes in this book that seemed to involve all the family, extended family and friends. A great way to bring everyone up to date.
